Oh Buggerit! ‘Secret men’s business’ exposed in song from behind the flames of the barbie..

Last Saturday’s release of The BBQ Kings’ hilarious album ‘The Fellowship of The Grill’ guaranteed to make August 23rd a memorable moment for ‘menkind’. The trio’s sizzling musical debut welcomes listeners to join a meeting of male minds as their secrets are traded behind the sanctity of the BBQ.

The once-tightly-guarded troubles of these middle-aged, apron-wearing males will be shared throughout the 15-track serving; from confused feelings about manboobs, to the misery of hair loss, and the grief of trading in a beloved, gas-guzzling V8 due to rising petrol prices. As an added bonus, they’ll also lay out the unwritten rules of BBQ etiquette for everyone to clearly understand!

'I read an article recently that suggested Man first used fire to cook meat over 1.5 million years ago. All this time has passed and we may still be struggling to cook our snags before they burn, but the hallowed ground of The BBQ has become a sacred place where males can secretly talk about their feelings.' laughed bald King, Tony.

Musical genius Tony Williams, renowned country singer and Naked Poets associate Pat Drummond and Chris O’Leary, founder of orange overalled cover band ‘The One Hit Wonders,’ are the extremely talented larrikins behind The BBQ Kings. The album, which features lots of laughs and The BBQ Kings’ signature six-burner, 88 piano key barbie, will be distributed in partnership with ABC Music and Universal Music.

‘The Fellowship of the Grill’ will be available in all ABC stores and music retailers nationally. 'We hope the timing of the release will put a serious dent in Fathers Day sock sales', chuckled Pat. 'September 1st also heralds the beginning of Spring. We can’t wait to whip out our tongs and fire up the barbie!'

The BBQ Kings are highly experienced interviewees. These three upbeat, witty blokes have plenty to talk about and can break into delicious A-Capella harmony at the drop of the hat. They’re now available for interview!
