"I Will Move Heaven"

I looked up at the stars today
Every one was shining
Every one was shimmering
It took me back to the day
When I first saw you smile
Your beauty took my breath away

How could you go away?
Go away so quickly
Leaving me with nothing
Nothing

I will move Heaven
I will move Heaven
To bring you
Back to Earth again
I
I will move Heaven
I will move Heaven
Anything to hold you
To hold you again

I drove over to our spot today
Where nothing could get in our way
We had our own world
We had it all
Our love
I swear it will take me away
Take me back before the day

How could you go away?
Go away so quickly
Leaving me with nothing
Nothing

I
I will move Heaven
I will move Heaven
To bring you
Back to Earth again
I will move Heaven
I will move Heaven
Anything to hold you
To hold you again

And I still can't believe it
Still won't accept it
Still feel you here with me
My heart
My heart is broken
And you're holding the pieces
And they don't fit back together
Together

I will move Heaven
I will move Heaven
To bring you
Back to Earth again
I will move Heaven
I will move Heaven
Anything to hold you
To hold you again

I will move Heaven
I will move anything
Standing in my way
I
I never needed
Anything more
Than to hold you
To hold you again
I will move Heaven
I will move Heaven
One day
I'll hold you again

"Direction"

I was handed an empty map
And a compass with no direction
Leading me into a trap
With no way to way to mark my location
And I'm feeling lost
And not feeling sane
And I am begging please
Help me find a way

I'm headed down the
Wrong way on a one way street
On the last exit to nowhere
And I'm just South of where I wanna be
Which is just North of being somebody
Can I get somewhere?
Can I get anywhere?

No
I've been here before
I've walked this shore
Stuck my toes into this sea
I'm needing more
Searching for another being
But all that's left is me
And I can't help feeling like

I'm headed down the
Wrong way on a one way street
On the last exit to nowhere
And I'm just South of where I wanna be
Which is just North of being somebody
Help me get somewhere
Help me get anywhere

And all these latitudes and longitudes
Could never lead me back to you
No exit signs and no townlines
I am running scared and blind
I'm on a tour but there's no guide
Nothing but wind blowing by side
No one to point me in the right direction
Nothing to get me to my destination
No planes, no trains, no automobiles

I'm headed down the
Wrong way on a one way street
On the last exit to nowhere
And I'm just South of where I wanna be
Which is just North of being somebody

So I throw my compass
Pick the lock on my trap
Write my own directions on the map
To the road that leads to somebody
To the road where you can find me
And bring me back home

Ok, here's the deal. Today I penned a brand new song about one of my celebrity crushes. If you can name the celebrity I wrote the song about, you will get a phone call from me AND a free, autographed copy of the album when it is released! Every day I will post hints as to who it is, so keep coming back, and turn on your brains! Best of luck!

Wednesday's hint: This person is FEMALE and an ACTRESS.
Thursday's hint: This actress has been labeled a SCREAM QUEEN for her work in the HORROR movie genre.
Yesterday's hint: She has a MOVIE coming out THIS month.
Today's hint: In 2007, she reprised a role originally made famous by Jamie Lee Curtis.

THE CONTEST IS OVER!!!

Congrats to DAN COOPER of Ipswich, MA who guessed that my celebrity crush song is about Scout Taylor-Compton, of Rob Zombie's "Halloween" fame, amongst others.

I hope to have "A Song For Scout" up for you guys soon! Thanks to everyone who guessed, I'm sure I'll have another contest up soon!

Hey everyone--
I have some really exciting news to share with you all after a day of writing with Rob...Screaming Sincerity is bidding adieu to the acoustic pop sound. Rob and I discussed and decided that I am capable of doing bigger and better things, songs with a full band sound and songs that defy any sort of genre. The two of us sat and co-wrote a song today and, I can tell you with all honesty that it is EPIC. It took me back to my days of playing in bands and I felt so great being able to play that kind of music again. The guitar work is really phenomenal and I can't wait to hear how it sounds once drums, bass, etc. are added in. I am so psyched for you all to it and hope you all embrace the new sound as much I have. However, no worries. Fan favorite "Lauren's Song" will be included on the album. Lauren is the reason I started making music again and her song is one of my personal favorites as well. We're thinking of completely re-doing "Flirt" into full band and maybe changing up the melody. The songs I told you were going on the album are still going on. The album, which by the way, may need to be re-named to something that more fits with the sound direction that Screaming Sincerity is going in. Will there still be acoustic songs? Absolutely. Will there still be pop sounding songs? Absolutely. I'm not abandoning the genre that helped me get to where I am. Don't think of it as starting from scratch. I don't. I think of it as a new chapter. A new chapter that can't be written without all of you guys. I hope you all welcome the material with open minds and more importantly, open ears. I could not do what I do without the support from each and every one of you. Your thoughts and opinions on my music matter more to me than you could ever know and your honesty and comments are ALWAYS appreciated. I look forward to taking you into this next chapter with me. I hope you're as excited as I am.

Best Wishes and Lots of Love,
<3 Screaming Sincerity

Hey everyone--

So I get a lot of questions on the daily via messages and such things on here and wanted to share with you publicly the answers to questions I get asked more frequently than others. So, if you're that bored that you decide to read this, enjoy.

Q: Where did you come up with the name Screaming Sincerity?

A: If you listen to the song "Anatomy of a Heartbreak", the first line goes "And I'm sincerely screaming your name from the bottom of my broken heart..." I just kinda liked the way the two words went together and re-worded it to Screaming Sincerity...I wish it was a more interesting story, but that's all I got for ya.

Q: How come you don't just front a band?

A: I've been the lead singer of bands since I was in 8th grade. None lasted long enough for anything to be accomplished. I guess I was just really tired of the lack of commitment and decided to try and go out on my own, and it's already been much more rewarding. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely loved playing in every band I've ever been in. They include: Store-Bought & Confused (Vocals/Rhythm Guitar...yes, I played guitar way back when), Misguided Misfits (Lead Vocals), Suicide With A Cover Girl (Lead Vocals), Johnny Castle's Last Dance (Lead Vocals) and tons more.

Q: Can you play guitar?

A: Badly.

Q: How did you get signed (to Prisoner Records)?

A: I actually had no intention to really go through with this solo project until the signing. I had asked my friend Rob Macy (Owner and founder of Prisoner Records) if he could help me out by doing the guitar and recording a song I had written called "Lauren's Song" because it was a birthday present for Lauren and her birthday was quickly approaching. So, one afternoon I headed over to his place and we sat and layed out "Lauren's Song" after finishing that, Rob asked "What else you got?" and I told him about this song called "Flirt". I sang that for him, he wrote music, we recorded it, and then he told me he'd like me to sign on to Prisoner Records. I accepted and now we're in the process of recording my debut album. So, I really owe Lauren a lot more than she realizes.

Q: When are you going to start playing shows? Will you come to Calfornia slash Michigan, etc?

A: First off, I haven't played a show as Screaming Sincerity in my home state of Massachusetts yet. That needs to be done first. Rob and I discussed performing at a few open mic nights to get my name out there once again. (No one has heard me perform this genre of music before, I've performed pop-punk and post-hardcore in the past.) Obviously, as soon as this starts happening, you guys will be the first to know and when show opportunities come up, I'll keep you updated. I would obviously LOVE to come play out where all of you guys are and hopefully will be able to do so at some point.

Q: When will "Avenues of a Heart" be available?

A: "Avenues of a Heart" is still in the process of being recorded. In fact, everything we have currently is all rough demos. The actual studio quality recordings will be taking place very soon and I hope to have the album available sometime this Summer.

Q: Why are you so cute?

A: Don't go assuming I'm shallow and narcisistic for posting this. I actually get asked this a lot. Well, thanks guys, it always makes me smile, but I'm really not all that cute, I promise you.

Q: Who are your favorite bands slash singers?

A: Impossible for me to name just one. If any of you took a look at my iTunes, you would burst into hysterical laughter because it's so random. I'm inspired by so many different bands and artists and have further gotten to expand my appreciation for music by many of the talented friends I have made here through myspace. There are more musicians on myspace currently than actual profiles, that is AMAZING and I encourage you all to listen to someone new every day!

Q: Do you have Twitter?

A: No, I do not currently have Twitter. To be honest with you, I find Twitter to be kinda pointless. But, I dunno, if you guys are really all that interested in knowing what I'm doing 24/7 maybe I'll get one. I do, however, have a Facebook fanpage that you should all join!

Q: Will all of your songs be acoustic?

A: At first that was the plan but I've written a lot of songs lately that I can hear full band in my head. I'd also really like to re-do "Flirt" with a full band. So, we will be straying away from the acoustic for some material.

Q: Are all of the songs on your myspace going on the album?

A: No. Just "Lauren's Song" and "Flirt". I may do something with "Anatomy of a Heartbreak" and "Commonwealth Avenue" but they won't be on the album. The other songs going on (for now) are: "After", "Willing To Never Try", "Take Your Place", "The Jealousy Game", "Summer's Ending", "This Time Around (Lauren's Song Part II)" and a cover of Sean Kingston's "Beautiful Girls".

Q: Are you aware that you're becoming a myspace dykon?

A: I am so in love with the fact that you guys think this. (For all of you, a dykon is a lesbian icon.) I wasn't aware lol and really don't think I am. It would be great but definitely don't think I'm anywhere near that status.

That's all for now. Love you all. <3 Cailee. Screaming Sincerity.

April 29, 2009 - Wednesday
Hey everyone--

So I decided to post a blog about everything going on as opposed to a bulletin because I know that bulletin board thing can get kinda hectic.

First off, I've been getting a lot of messages from people asking about my debut EP "Avenues of a Heart". I finally have some answers for you. To begin with, it actually won't be an EP anymore! You guys are getting a full-length album and I can't wait for you all to hear it. However, it will unfortunately not be until this Summer that you get to. Rob and I are working diligently and putting our hearts and souls into it. I don't want to rush through the process just so it can be released and have it sound terrible and thrown together. I care about my music too much for that and I care about all of you guys too much for that. You deserve the best and the best is what I intend to give you.

Second, I've said it a million times that I had a final tracklisting for the album, but now that has also changed. I've written a bunch of new songs lately that I feel are much better quality than a lot of the other songs I was planning to release. These are the songs I want you guys to hear. There's a great pop song entitled "Summer's Ending" and even a ballad entitled "This Time Around (Lauren's Song Part II)", that have been written just these past few days. In addition to those two, I have quite a few more up my sleeve as well as that cover of Sean Kingston's "Beautiful Girls" that you all voted to hear!

There will also be a brand new song headed your way HOPEFULLY sometime this week. It's called "After" and it's about that terrible feeling you get in the pit of your stomach when you find out that you have just been cheated on. I hope none of you can relate. What I love most about "After" is that it feels like it's so cheery and upbeat until the lyrics begin and that's when you feel like someone has REALLY pissed me off haha. Rob and I recorded it this past weekend and I really like the way it came out. It's currently in it's post-production stages and as soon as it is released to me, it will be put up for all of you to hear.

There's also some exciting news from my label, Prisoner Records. Owner and founder, and my good friend, Rob Macy has joined forces with Matt Thompson of Zephyr Productions who, along with Rob, will be handling the majority of recording, editing, and post-productions for all of Prisoner Records artists and I, personally, am very excited to be working with such a talented guy. Also, if you haven't already done so, please take a listen to my labelmates: Prisoner, Rob Macy, Matt Corcoran, Breannah Paul and Ricky Napolitano. There are a few other artists soon to be joining. I love being a part of such a diverse label and plan to be for a long time to come.

A lot of you have also been asking when I will be starting to book shows. Well, you're in luck. Rob and I had this discussion this past weekend while we were recording. I want to get a few more songs under my belt first, but then the booking WILL begin! It's going to start off at things like Open Mic nights to get my name as my solo project out there once again and we'll see how it goes from there. I'll keep you updated on shows when they come my way.

Thank you all for everything that you continue to do for me. Your support, love, comments, messages, song listens, etc, amaze me on a daily basis and I feel so lucky to have such a devoted fanbase. I love you all.

Best Wishes,

<3 Screaming Sincerity
