Dear Friends,
Do drop by this specially constructed exhibition space along Orchard Road, Singapore (in front of Wisma Atria and Ngee Ann City) from October 30 to November 15 2009 between 11am to 8pm. Not only do you get to see personally written postcards and photos of your favourite celebrities and friends (including The Analog Girl :)) but you'll also get to bid for your favourite postcard or take your very own. Here is a word from the organisers:
"Luxury brand Hermès has brought its bespoke style to the streets by way of its P.S. I Silk You postcard exhibition and studio. A celebration of individual style, models will be photographed wearing Hermès silk scarves – as a tie, an elaborate headband, a tube top or even a creatively fashioned belt. The end results will be printed on a set of postcards, the front graced with your photograph, the back with sentences left blank for you to compose your own personal note to friends and loved ones. Not quite sure what your Hermès look should be? Take a style note from the exhibition of 100 celebrities and local personalities who’ve already been photographed for the cause.
All proceeds go towards Beautiful People, a volunteer platform that connects professionals and skilled persons with voluntary welfare organisations."
It's up for bids! :)
Event: Hermès P.S. I Silk You Postcard Exhibition featuring photos and handwritten postcards by Dick Lee, Wong Li-Lin, Nadya Hutagalung, Phunk Studio and The Analog Girl. Date: October 30 to November 15 2009, 11am - 8pm Venue: Orchard Road (in front of Wisma Atria and Ngee Ann City)

This is going to be huge - The Analog Girl taking the stage in Berlin for the very first time at Worldtronics Festival. I can't even start to describe how excited I am to be performing in Berlin and at a world class venue like the Haus Der Kulturen Der Welt. So expect a performance like no other that has come before this. As I'm writing this, I am putting together new arrangements and trying out new instruments for my Berlin show, so if you are in town, don't miss this!
Details here:
East-Asian Electropop at Worldtronics is curated by Henry Foundation of Goodnight Electric fame and also showcases performances by IGO (Shanghai) and Dubyouth (Indonesia).

It's not everyday that I feel the impulse to post a demo song on my website for all to listen and download but I don't know why, there is something particularly honest about this piece that I just did, something called "Before You". Maybe I've been working non stop on my next album for too long and am just dying for someone to hear bits of it. Maybe you'll be the first today? Enjoy... x
