I hope you are well and having lovely summers - in the UK it's been a bit on and off with the weather!

Sorry that I haven't updated you all sooner!

In the last couple of months I have been working on a lot of different music projects which have been a lot of fun!  I am also going to be in a feature film later in the year called 'Safe With You' which should be very exciting - I will also be singing in the film.

I also recently set up a facebook & twitter page - thank you for joining them (278 fans on my facebook page!).  To join my facebook page go to my myspace music profile and click on the facebook badge.  To join my twitter page type in www.twitter.com/carawardsinger

I was also very excited to see that I am number 2 in the UK unsigned Classical Opera & Vocal myspace pages - a BIG BIG BIG thank you to all who have made this possible :D

FINALLY...
With the album I am sorry that I haven't kept you updated but I will have to put it off for a while again - I have no time at the moment and there are a lot of music projects I have to put first - I can't wait to start on it and will let you know the second I start!!!  I am also looking into a lot of songs that are not as widely known for my album - I have come across a few gems (I won't say anything yet!).

ALSO if you are in London and you want to go to the theatre - you MUST MUST MUST see The Jersey Boys & La Cage Aux Folles - both have outstanding performers and staging!!!  Loved them both!

Anyway I will try and keep you all updated and will soon be changing the look of my page (something a bit more dramatic!) and will be uploading some new photos!

Hello all

I hope you are all well.  I am sorry for my lack of contact and updates - it's been a very busy period for me and when it is all sorted out I will let you know!

I quickly wanted to say a BIG thank you for the messages, comments, picture comments and blog comments of love and support for the loss of my darling cat Pumpkin.  I can't tell you how much they helped me.

Also I have been asked if I have a banner - I do now!

Today my dear dear cat Pumpkin died - I am going to be offline for a couple of days because I need to get over this painfull loss in my life.   She was an amazing cat and she gave me nothing but love and happiness.  She was 15 and up to two weeks ago was very well - I am also upset becuase I thought I had a bit more time with her.  I will miss her so much and cant believe she is gone.

I hope you are all well!  First of all I am going to say a BIG sorry – I have been really busy with other projects and the album will now be released in the New Year!  BUT I will be releasing a single for digital download for Christmas!  It will be available very very soon!  The single is one of my favourite Christmas songs :D

Hi all!

Very exciting news!  Due to high demand I am going to be recording my first album – can't wait to get back into the recording studio!  I am hoping to release it early November.  The songs on the album are songs I have grown up listening to and love.  Will keep you updated!

I have just uploaded three new songs and some photos – let me know what you think!  I may have gone a bit Disney crazy with two of the songs but I can't help it!  They are wonderful to sing because they are emotional and powerful.  I chose 'Windmills of Your Mind' because I first heard it when I saw the 60's film 'The Thomas Crown Affair' and I thought it was one of the most haunting songs I had ever heard!
