Well Hello Everyone! I hope you are as excited as I am now that Fall is upon us. This has always been my favorite time of year due to the beautiful surroundings I am blessed to call home. I'm touching base with everyone to let you all in on some big news!! I have finally gotten confirmation from the duplication company and I am happy to announce that come October 9th, I will officially have massive copies of my new CD "I've Been Here" in my hands. That being said, I wanted to inform all of you that I will be having an official CD Release Party at The Tin Angel in Old City, Philadelphia on Saturday, October 17th at 7pm. I will be playing once again with the super talented Laura Shay www.laurashay.comThis will be a very special show for me as I'm celebrating the fact that this entire recording was 100% fan funded and I can't really put into words how much everyone's support has meant in this process. It has taken longer than I anticipated, but the final product is something I'm so proud of and an effort that I hope you will all join me in celebrating. I will, ofcourse, have plenty of CD's available at the show and for those of you who have lent your financial support, I will have free copies for you as well. For those supporters who can not make the show, your gifts will be in the mail shortly thereafter, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't make plans to come to the show, wink wink! I encourage you all to come out and celebrate this event with me and Laura. Tickets are already going fast and if you plan on attending it is very highly recommended that you get your tickets in advance. The show is growing close to a sellout as we speak. Howdy everyone,
Just a little reminder regarding my show this coming weekend at The Tin Angel. I'm splitting the evening with good friend and super talented songwriter, Laura Shay. For those of you who don't know, Laura was kind enough to sing a duet with me on my new record and we'll be playing that tune on Saturday night along with lots of other surprises. It is highly recommended that you buy your tickets in advance for this show. Laura's last show here was sold out, and a few of my previous shows here have sold out, so get em while the gettin is good.
Tickets are available at www.tinangel.com
$10 a pop and the doors open @ 6:30 I believe. If you've got some time, have dinner downstairs at Serrano and they'll reserve your seats upstairs for the show.
Hope to see you all there,
Chris

Current mood: adventurous
Hey Folks, I hope the beginning of summer is treating you all well. I am excited to announce that I have teamed up with feedthemuse.net, a website designed to let you, the fan, have an integral part in the release and promotion of my new record. The goal is to raise $5,000 to be used for the promotion of my new album with a stronger push than I could ever do myself. Here’s how it works - there are several levels of contribution on the site. Each level of contribution offers a certain incentive in return for your support. You can very easily and safely donate online with a credit card. We’ll keep you involved along the way with behind the scenes updates - videos, pictures, blogs and more. A simple click over to www.feedthemuse.net/bruni will get you to my own personal page. "There is nothing new except what has been forgotten. Things have a way of cycling around, and if they are effective, becoming novel again when more recent methods of making progress fade away. Fan financing is picking up steam as a way of raising money to support artists in the face of falling label support. Like the patron model of old, artists are reaching out to their fans, offering incentives and various forms of access for fans that donate money in support of their artist’s work."-Dave Brubek, Vice President at Berklee College of Music
The true fans want to see the music continue and in a world of maddening clutter, having fans who want to support you is a success in itself. I thank all of you in advance for your continued support, Chris Bruni Spread the word! Copy and paste this code into your page to display the Feed The Muse widget.

Hey all,
Been a busy past two weeks and I think I forgot to post a new song somewhere along the line. So sorry! There's another new one up there in the playlist called "Bobby Run". This is one of my favorite tracks on the new album. We took a very acoustic approach to this one, and with the help of Devin Greenwood's glorious keywork, and John Lilley's super cool dobro part, I think we achieved a nice outcome with a very Dire Straits sort of vibe. Hope you enjoy, news on the way,
Chris

Here's another song from the new album. This one's called "Listen". This song was actually written during the recording process of my last album, "Watch Me Burn", which is still available on ITunes, Amazon.com, CD Baby.com, and most other places where one would buy music online. Go out and get a copy and get yourself familiar with the old before we bring in the new.
Happy May,
Chris

Oh... And by the way, the new album does have a title.

Hey all, As promised, I have posted a second song from my new soon to be released album. This one is titled "Standing By Your Room" This song features my good friend Laura Shay. We weren't really sure how to approach recording this as a duet, but with a little help from producer Tim Sonnefeld, I think we got just about right. If you haven't heard of Laura yet, please do yourself a favor and go check her out. She's in my top friends and she's super talented. Enjoy!, Chris
