My first VLOG subscribe peoples - much more interesting stuff to come :)

Friends would be nice - ones that live right around the corner... maybe a girl friend to call and chat about the crazy things that happen in this life... maybe a couple who adam and i could get along with both parties well - and actually connect with them. Someone who i could call and make plans with, even if its just to hang out and do nothing together. it was hard moving up here pregnant and not having the ability to go out then - and definitely not having it now with a little baby... i didn't get to meet anyone - except for adam's friends which have turned out to be exactly that - adam's friends. My neighbors are cool - but mostly male, and they all have their lives to attend to. Hanging out with an 80 year old man isn't always my idea of having a good time. How can i connect to people? I usually just meet people when i am out doing things in the world but now - i am at home with myself. I love my baby boy and i love being a mother - more than anything that i have ever done in my life, and i love my husband, and being his wife. I just want something more - i feel like i need something more. I feel like i should be okay with not having friends, but seriously - i need people in my life, its a core part of who i am. I guess i need to work on dealing with my situation, and enjoying what God has put in front of me. I think so many times we are unappreciative of things that we have and just push for more out of life.

i do want friends though.

It has been a long time since i have written a blog. I wanted to change that - so i thought i would right now.

I am a ball of intensity right now... everything that has happened in the past year has changed my life forever.

I really love my husband, i cannot believe that i found someone who fits with me so well. I think this year has really changed a lot in both of us. I cannot express how happy it has made me. He and i have such amazing times together, and going through all the crap that we have gone through just keeps making our relationship stronger. I am so happy that we got married and are starting a family together! He is really the man of my dreams and has provided me with so much love and stability. I never thought that this is what marriage would be like, so i am learning as i go - but i have to say that being with him makes me the happiest woman.

For those of you who haven't met adam, he is the most intelligent, creative, talented man that i have ever met. (he is also really hot, and hairy... both very important to me :-) He works in the computer field - every aspect of it, and can fix just about anything that comes along when it comes to the technical side of things. He is the best drummer that i have ever heard. He can also play any instrument you put in his hands - but wont even act like he is capable of any of it!!!!! He is a great visual artist and has a knack for all sorts of creative thought. He is so smart too, it makes me sick sometimes! :-)

We are expecting our little boy any time within the next month and a half... I am so excited to meet him. He has been all of my main thoughts these days. I am currently on medicine to stop contractions and keep him in for as long as possible, so my mental state has been skewed, but the excitement helps pass the time - along with the internet and loads of tv and movies :-P. I have become enamored with the show WifeSwap. lol

I still have not met a group of people in boone that i really connect to. There are a few people here that i would call my friends though. Probably the closest person i have up here is Jess, my landlord - he is the coolest and sweetest old man i have ever met. I want adam and i to meet some more people that we connect with that have children of their own. That is a hard feat though, because just because someone has children doesn't mean that we will like them!!!

My family and i have gotten so close over this year too. My sister is expecting a little girl in january - so we have a lot more in common now than we ever have and we've been spending lots of time talking about our joys, fears, pains and excitement. My little brother is growing up and making loads of crazy decisions - but i love him. My mom and i have really reconnected and i am able to help her with her work. It has been really great to have them in my life so much!

Basically this blog has turned into an update of sorts. I guess i just needed to reconnect somewhere before i start blogging off on random thoughts and theories... That comes next.

CLEANED HIS APARTMENT TODAY WHILE I WAS AT THE SPA

OMG

SUCH A GOOD DAY!

At the point that your breath fully fills your lungs and your blood feels like its getting everywhere that it needs to... you wake up with a smile on your face, ready for the day's adventures... you lie down on the ground and stare up through the trees to feel the sun above...  the air smells like the season you're currently residing in...  as you walk through the grocery store people smile back at you... when you feel creative deep down... when you feel as if you could do anything for anyone... and everyone is willing to be there if you need something...

mmm... thats when life is good.

Today my daughter is two years old :-) It really seems like time moves way too fast...

anyhow this blog isnt really about her...

it was basically to say that Kung Fu Hustle is an awesome movie. :-P If you have yet to see this movie - you should go get it asap and watch it - because its one of those that i found actually worth talking about.

Anyhow... kung fu hustle and 2 year old little girls... what is this world coming to?
