I have just released iDjembe 2.0, which lets you play the djembe on your iPhone or iPod Touch. iDjembe features authentic sampled sounds. Version 2.0 adds Virtual Drum Circle, which lets you send your beats to other players on your local network. You can buy iDjembe in the app store.

I'm a big fan of Dave Matthews Band, so the news of LeRoi Moore's death hit me hard. I can't imagine the band without him.

As I wrote in my last blog entry, I'm in Vancouver this week for work (Absolute Software).

One of my favorite places in Vancouver is Charlie's Music World on Granville south of Robson. When I went there last night I really liked the music they were playing, which was sort of an Arabic instrumental techno/dance mix. so I asked to buy it. They gave me an unmarked CD, which I figured out was Mille et Une Nuits.
