So the time has come again for us to do another Catwalk Tragedy 4 yippee!  We of the hair and makeup team are looking forward to hearing your ideas and transforming you into the future Mr. or Mrs. Catwalk Tragedy.
But, before we talk specifics and what we can do for you let me ask you something…are you entering to win, or are you seeking more exposure for your talent, do you just want to see your face plastered all over the internet? Whatever your motivation for entering the Catwalk Tragedy contests, we can help you achieve that goal.

All of the past winners, and contestants who were either runners up or second or third place only did one thing it seems you have not done, signed up to get their hair and makeup done by professionals. We are sponsored by
organizations, and we are advertising products if you are photographed wearing the products (clothing) and utilizing the hair accessories (wigs by manic panic and hair colors), and makeup by manic panic, it increases your chances of exposure and to be advertised by that
company.

CATWALK TRAGEDY
ENTRY FORM & RULES

Read ALL rules CAREFULLY before entering!



1. You MUST be 18+ to enter

2. You must arrange your own transportation to the Trocadero in Philadelphia and be available ALL DAY on May 2nd 2009

3. You must not get naked.  Regardless of any past shows, nudity is NOT allowed; no pasties, no exposed breasts or genitals. 

4. You must know anything you say or do could possibly live in infamy on the Internets  / Reality TV.

5. You must be willing to help promote the show (i.e. pass out flyers if you
are given them, post bulletins online, encourage your friends to watch)

6. You must keep in contact with us at all times between entry submission
and show time.  We'll talk though e-mail, MySpace or phone.  If you're not
wiling to talk to us, or meet deadlines, we will be sad and you will be
disqualified.
 


 
**THE CONTEST**


BOTH Guys & Girls may enter; this year there will be 40 contestants TOTAL.  12 Guys and 28 Girls.  There will be eliminations between the each round, based on judges scores only!

Rounds 1 & 2 are sponsored by clothing companies TBA

Round 3 is the free round, keep it flirty and fun!  The point is not to be naked, it is to show your stage presence to make the audience go wild! 
How you do that is up to you!  Some people will dance, show talents, do magic tricks, create an outfit that blows your mind, lip sync, rip, and tear off clothing, some will just bring 100 close friends that are loud and
obnoxious… some will do both, it's totally up to you.

Six winners, 1st place, 2nd place and 3rd place from both male and female
categories will take home the coveted prizes from our sponsors TBA.  1st place winners will take the title of MISS and MISTER CATWALK TRAGEDY akin to being an ULTIMATE alternative model for their
city for one year.


There are NO entry restrictions on height, weight, style or experience level, however we encourage uniqueness!

Anyone from any city may enter Catwalk Philly if you cover your own transportation costs, however keep in mind we plan on traveling to other cities throughout the US!

New York City Contestant Rules

Please read ALL rules CAREFULLY before entering!

1. You MUST be 18+ to enter

2. You must be able to provide your own transportation to NYC on the tentative dates, Feb. 19th evening and Feb. 20th all day and night.

3. You must attend the mandatory rehearsal, tentatively evening of Feb. 19th in NYC

4. You must not show your junk.  No genitals, no female nipples, no pasties.

Friday October 17th, 4pm (till apprx. 5:30pm)

Please bring the heels/shoes you will be wearing in the show, you may bring any props you wish to "try out" on the runway.
Any models who desire extra runway coaching may plan to stay after the rehearsal.

TIPS AND REMINDERS
*promote yourself and the event during the convention, you want people cheering for YOU!
*models will be given free weekend passes to enter the convention
*have bottoms (leggings, boyshorts, skirts, jeans etc.) and shoes (stilettos, platforms, boots) with you for both round 1 and round 2
*have something prepared for round 3, the free round, along with a complete outfit
*bring a burnt CD copy of your round 3 song just incase we can't provide it
*contact a Catwalk Tragedy Stylist of your choice if you haven't already made an appt. and wish to make one
*bring any hair products / accessories you may want to be used on yourself
*no friends, escorts, personal stylists nor personal photographers will be allowed backstage
*don't be afraid to be UNIQUE and BE YOURSELF, thats what this competition is ALL ABOUT!

The first two rounds are sponsored by clothing companies which will provide shirts (you should be able to choose from their online catalogs in which shirts you want to rock the catwalk and you get to KEEP them).  Please list your top 3 choices and know that you will get the shirt you request based on availability of stock.  So be ready and willing to accept NOT getting what you request even though we will do our best to get you what you want.

 

 

Round one is brought to you by Tattooed Kingpin Clothing. Models will again be given their choice of t-shirt from the Tattooed Kingpin Online catalogue.   (Please note: We will make every effort to secure the design of your choosing, however due to limited quantities design substitutions may be made)

Sourpuss Clothing presents round two.  Models will each be given a T-shirt from Sourpuss Clothing which they will then have the opportunity to alter in expression of their  own creativity and style while showcasing their personalities. Models may cut, pin, shred, tie, their shirts into a new unique design that they will then match with their own bottoms (skirts, boy shorts, leggings, jeans, etc) and sashay down the runway.

Round three is your chance to shine. Create your own look, wardrobe, style etc or find a designer to create a look for you.  This is your opportunity to really show off your own personality and style. The essence of this entire competition is about being unique and this is your chance to demonstrate what makes you an alternative model icon.

 

This round is judged based on crowd response AND judges' scoring.*

 

*Please note that this is an all ages event. Contestants are encouraged to be as sexy as they want, however pasties, visible breasts, genitals and lewd sexual acts, are not permitted and grounds for disqualification.

 

 

Constants will only be supplied T-SHIRTS, the rest of the outfit must be assembled and supplied by YOU (THE CONTESTANT).

There will be 40 entrants TOTAL.  Guys & Gals BOTH welcome!  Each round is co-ed.

40 Contestants Total
