What's up yo's? Hanging in the bus having a bit of quiet time before we leave out tonight. On second thought, it's not quiet time at all, I've got the XM cranked way too loud. I love Staind though, have to turn that shit up! Sorry I've kind of been a ghost lately, but that doesn't mean there hasn't been a lot going on. Quite the opposite actually, we have been incredibly busy on the road tearing it up with Hinder and Theory of a Deadman. We have a couple weeks left on that tour before jumping on a plane and heading to the UK to meet up with Nickelback to some rocking across the pond. Things are going great for the BSC guys, we pick up a little more steam every day and all is well here with us. On a more personal note I've been working on music under the radar for a bit now. I'm hoping once I get my studio moved to Kentucky I can get these songs recorded (long overdue!)

Time to go find something to kill a couple hours. Hope all is well, come rock out!

Life with Black Stone Cherry has been great, with lots of positive things in the near future. Im writing from my bunk in South Carolina on my phone listening to Chevelle and I must say things are good now! The last tour was bittersweet due to some personal things at home, but the clouds have passed and its sunny skies for the future. I cant go into detail yet, but we'll be playing to about 30,000 peeps a night when we go back to Europe! Amazing to think about it! A lot of hard work done and left to do, but its a dream Im living everyday and no one can take that from me. To everyone who supports me in the endeavor of rock and roll I thank you. check the BSC page for dates and come on out to the shows, I hope to see you there!

Hey peoples,

Some of you probably don't care, some of you do, and some of you already know.... However here is the skibby on what's going on in the near future with me. I start yet another renovation project to my studio on Monday. The goal of this is to make a new live room as well as a new control room. After that I have a couple guys flying in to join me in what is going to be an exciting new venture. We plan to fully immerse ourselves in music 24 hours a day for as long as it takes to write a record that for better or worse is the complete blend of the 3 of us and then take it on the road with some shows. Sooo, if you want us to come to your city let me know and I'll see what I can do. This will be renegade style touring too, so if we come to your town we're sleeping on your floor! As soon as there is more info to put up I will, but that's all I have for now. Until then... act like your mexican, break the man law and put some frickin fruit in your beer, drink a lot of it- and I'll be seeing your smiling faces soon.

I managed to do all that as well as take the last couple months of the year to build my new studio, reconnect with all the friends I missed while out on the road and um.... kick some MAJOR ass in Halo 3. A pattern started to develop about a month ago while we (Eve To Adam) were on tour with Smile Empty Soul. Every Tuesday something would go catastrophically wrong and end up ruining our day. We thought maybe it would just go away, but oh no... every week without fail. Have to love it.

Sweet Tuesday:

#1: Lincoln, NE - Bus catches on fire due to faulty wiring. awesome....

#2: Allentown, PA - Bus catches on fire again due to wiring, while towing the bus, the undercarriage catches on fire from skid plates hitting the ground

#3: Queens, NY - Bus grounds out leaving a parking lot and gets stuck, for 3 hours... awesomeness!

#4: Greenville, SC - Air conditioners in the bunks quit working, it was 95 degrees outside that day.

#5: Jackson, MS - Blown head gasket on the bus... that was about 5 hours ago. looking at a hefty repair.

Chillin in the hotel room, in lovely Madison Wisconsin. I just kicked some serious ass in pool, and ate one of the most interesting chicken sandwiches I've ever had. Marinated in SoCo... it was pretty frickin sweet. The tour is still going well, selling out shows every night, meeting new people, and having a blast. As for now I'm going to go watch Grandma's Boy again and then go running. Until next time.... Keepst' it real yo!!!!

So it's not everyday that you wake up tired and hungry yet feeling great. Today is one of those days for sure. It's 9:40am, I've been up for almost 2 hours and I didn't go to bed until 4am. Do the math. Anyway, on with the updates...

I've been in Indiana for a couple weeks, and it's not very interesting. I decided to come to PA yesterday and let the good times roll. Something about this state is just awesome. I mean, there are other definite perks, but the state just has a cool vibe to it. I'm heading back to Indiana tomorrow and flying back to LA on Thursday to get back to work.

I have also stripped my drum kit down to it's most basic components and I decided it's time to start with a simple beat and work on groove. This doesn't mean I'm going soft by any means, in fact, my intentions are just the opposite. Once I lock in simple beats I can rock them harder.


My guitar playing has stepped up as well. I have been actually practicing for hours on end and it's great to be able to play again. That is the one thing I hate about being on the road. The lack of playing that I'm dealt.

Good things in the near future though, I'm working on a couple new records and I might be in a band as well... not sure about that one just yet.
