Hello Everyone,
In the spirit of the holiday season, we have compiled a nice little video for you all to enjoy. It documents the three days we spent with our good friend Jon Perri recording our sophomore EP, "Earthbound".

It'll give you a little insight into the recording process, how ridiculous we are and, if you listen closely, how some of the new songs are coming together.

"Earthbound" will be available on February 18th, 2010. Keep your ears peeled for it and expect many more exciting updates and tasty tidbits to hold you over until then!

Hey everybody! Just a quick update. Along with a nice little myspace layout change, we're officially announcing the dates for our Summer Tour 2009! Now, I know what you're thinking: "Why couldn't Henry Gale come to my city!?" We had to pick and choose our dates (and take the appropriate time off of work), but we're trying to go as far as we can! We're heading all the way out to Michigan and back, playing a show every night! It'll be fun, it'll be exhausting, but most importantly, it'll be a great experience to make some new friends and new fans. Hey everybody! Hope you are all keeping warm and toasty in these winter months. If not, here is something that will heat you up: Henry Gale summer tour! That's right, for two weeks in July we are going to hit the road and travel out west to reconvene with some old friends and hopefully make many new ones. We are super excited about this and feel it is due time for us to play a nice string of dates. With assistance from our good friend Ben (Extinguish), we are going to be booking the tour over the next few months, so if you are a band, promoter, venue, or someone that runs a sweet space, please get in touch! We are not only flexible with these dates, but we fit with most bills, so please do not hesitate to send us a myspace message or email at henrygaleisaband@gmail.com! Hey all, looks like we missed our Tuesday update deadline.

Oh well, the wait was worth it.

First off, here's a youtube video with a 20 second sample of each song off of the EP, as if you didn't already have enough reason to buy it.

Secondly, we were featured in The Phoenix today as MP3 download of the week! Just amazing, many thanks to Mike Brodeur and the Phoenix staff. Click here to check out the article, and to download the final track off the EP. One little thing however, don't trust the show info they wrote in the article! We're playing at the Middle East Upstairs on November 25th. I'm sure we'll get some cool retraction in the next issue...

That means we're only 2 weeks away from the release show!
