All my life i have been facinated and interested in mask. You know the kind you hang on the wall and such like. I use to collect them, ran out of walls, so i then started painting them.
I have just started a new series of mask.

I like to do things out of the ordinary when creating a mask, make a display of the face, after all to me thats what a mask is a display of something, hiding the face.  i get such joy of of these. I could sit and stare at it for hours. but then i would just keep tweakin it.

sometimes its hard to know where i belong and where i fit in online.

I have found a few places that I truly fit, and made some awesome friends on the way. Then there are times when i just can't seem to figure out all the signals that people are sending. I tend to wonder why is someone trying to break something thats not broken or trying to fix something thats not broken. Then i realize issue... the key word is issues.

so I can not let these things get me down or be offended when  not appreciated or misunderstood. I simply know that i do my best to  do my best and if someone has issues with that. Its their issue not mine. still it hurts me when i leave myself open for the blows that are thrown. I take them kinda hard too. yet i walk in silence as best i can, cause we have enough insanity in real life. who needs insanity online?

Today was a very good day, I spent it with family. They came from around the world. from Virginia to Detroit and all around the city, my family came together as we do for each thanksgiving day. We had lots of fun, food and laughter. The day was filled with love, togetherness and just a great joy. I guess thats what i really love about my family, we don't see each other but 2 times a year, thanksgiving and christmas and when we get together it is always a blessing and a joy.

I took a few pictures but not as many as i always do. i had my new camera and didnt really know how to use it. but anyways these are a few of the most precious shots i got.

This is me(the blonde head) and my cousin Robin, she is a warden at a Florida womens prison. she came all the way from Florida to be with family today

This is my mother and her brother Abner. He is a retired from the airforce, he lives in Virginia and came all the way to Atlanta to be with us today

This is a table we set up for the older members of the family to honor them.
