For months now we have been working to put together a free release. It is finally ready.

Here is your FREE download link:

You get artwork, songs, and lyrics. FREE!

As a band, we have a very non-traditional schedule. We have never quite fallen into the "write, practice, record, release, tour, repeat" routine that seems to have worked well for bands. Ours goes more like: "write, don't practice, play basement shows in MA, record, wait 6 months, release the old songs as "new" songs, pray to god we can repeat."

Sorry about that, truly.

As much as we all would honestly love to commit 100% of our time to this band, we are very poor and so must make sacrifices and compromises. What I mean is, we all have to work really shitty jobs all the time and all live in different towns just to get by; so even though we pump all the spare time and money we have into Kill Conrad, we still can't seem to afford the freedom to really give this band the time and attention that I think it deserves.

So this free EP. Intead of falling into our familiar habits and waiting what would be months and months to put these songs out with glossy gusto and packaging, we have decided to post them for free download. We feel very proud of the work we have done on them, but feel it is only fair to drop the pretenses and just give the songs out for free. You are the reason we try so hard to keep moving forward, so here is a holiday gift to you. It makes a great invisible stocking stuffer.

This way, we're slowly adjusting to a less sporadic schedule. We have even more new songs that we're getting ready to think about releasing in early 2010, so in the interest of gathering no moss, we're going to keep this stone rolling.

Take it for free with pride, and if you dig it, tell your friends to take it for free, too. If you hate it, tell your enemies to take it for free. Thank you all with absolute sincerity.

Current mood:  thirsty

I got tired of seeing all these reviews right on our front page. It seemed a little like gloating or something. I figured I would tuck them away in their own special section. So now, this way, we're still gloating, but in a more subtle way.

"Kill Conrad combines earnest East Coast Hardcore with melodic crusty pop"
- MaximumRockNRoll

"...[a] blast of bliss. The songs are all played with a passionate ferocity, and they remind me of a more aggressive, grittier Explosion....I've been noticing myself subconsciously pumping my fist in my living room as I'm spinning this.... Great stuff" - The Noise

"Short and sweet, this is five songs of quick paced melodic punk...This is a solid little EP that hints at some potential greatness if these guys stick to it."Razorcake

"Fast happy punk your thing? Then get this CD." - Mass Movement Magazine

"I'll tell you one thing, 32 Short Films About Nothing in Particular is a fun melodic punk rock album that you can't help yourself from dancing in your chair." - ScenePointBlank

"Their music is melodic, but not soft. Fast, but controlled. It’s a synthesis of all the best bits of everything that falls under the wide umbrella of punk from the past thirty or so years....As long as there’s a place with a roof and an electrical outlet, there will be punk shows. And Kill Conrad will probably be on the bill." - INsite Magazine

"This band definitely has potential to get up there with the likes of their contemporaries in this sub-genre if they continue at this rate, and I'm curious to hear more from them in the future." - No Division Music

"Melodic punk, with balls.... [Kill Conrad] played an amazing set and the crowd was fucking nuts!...I loved their set and I'll definitely buy their EP when it comes out in the spring" - Drink Fight and Fuck (live review)

"Kill Conrad does what so many other bands wish they could do: They make Boston Punk sound fresh again." - Newbury Comics

"I was taking a shit in the basement while Kill Conrad was practicing.  They're pretty catchy, I guess." - Fuckelstein

"Shouldn't they be singing 'Set ME Free?'" - Matt Tahaney, Q-Division

the Explosion - "No Revolution"
