THIS SATURDAY --Sept 26th-- is a very special show for Beautifully Crude. Our bandmate, friend, and guitarist Tommy Krantz --will be performing his last show with the band. Tommy's contribution to BC, musically and onstage, cannot be replaced. It will not be easy to fill Tommy's role in Beautifully Crude. However the remaining members will continue on. Auditions for guitar players will begin immediately to try to fill his shoes. We absolutely wish him the the best of luck and totally support his decision.

Come out and show your love for Tommy THIS SATURDAY, Sept 26th at The Rutledge!! We will all be there to show ours. DON'T MISS THIS SHOW!!

Current mood:Beautifully Crude
On Saturday, Sept 5th, 2009, Beautifully Crude returned to Clarksville, TN to perform once again with fellow Tennessee rockers Egypt Central and Sore Eyes. Both bands fresh off touring all over the US, making their Middle TN show at Souzapalooza 2009.

Despite having a great time with the guys from Sore Eyes and Egypt Central partying on our bus, we had so many tech problems --the show wasn't alot of fun. Pretty much anything that could have gone wrong during our set --did go wrong. Mics going out, snares busting, amps coming unplugged, just a few of the many distractions. Not a great 3rd show with our new line-up. Probably why we all got trashed!! lol Although we got may compliments from all the bands and their managers, as well as quite a few fans that showed up --we know how it sounded to us --and that's the hardest thing to get passed. Very humbling show, playing with some incredible bands. Thanks to all the guys for being so damn cool to us, the fans who came out in droves (sorry for the distractions lol), and as usual thanks to Tommy from New Etiquette Leasing for supplying the bus.

Now to put this show behind us and get ready for the next gig. Saturday, Sept 26th with Kings In Pieces. SEE YOU THERE!!!

On Friday, August 8th, 2009 --the band BEAUTIFULLY CRUDE played their first show with new guitarist Tony Summers and new drummer Pete Bailey. A daunting task, replacing original guitarist Scott Moore, and drummer Gary Belcher. And it was no more easy emotionally, as it was professionally.

Scott and Gary were a key part of the beginning of this band. The songs that spurted out of us in the summer of '08 were magical. The stage chemistry was undeniable. When they decided to step down, so that the band could go on to bigger things, it made it even harder to search for replacements. Out of their love for this band, Scott and Gary performed their last show with the band at the Boobie Bungalo on June 27th.

So, the show last friday was after only 5 weeks of rehearsals, with acoustic shows and farewell shows thrown into the mix along the way! Rehearsals in Derek's basement became like school and the band worked their ass off for about 14 grueling practices. The week of the show the final vocal work was done and it was time to shit or get off the pot.

The show went very well! Following our buds fORMER's last gig wasn't ideal, but we tightened up our emotions (and nerves) and proceeded to play our hearts out for the fans that were there. Performing all the songs that we love so much, and our brand new song, "What About Me." To the delight of the band, the crowd went crazy, and seemed to bond with the new guys nicely.

And the new guys --Tony and Pete-- what can we say? You did an incredible job --despite the huge shoes you had to fill. We were incredibly lucky to have found these guys when we did, cuz the band was in jeopardy of surviving. Thanks guys, for all your hard work and dedication to this band. And welcome to the Crude Camp!!

For our first gig together, we feel very good about how we sounded and performed. Much more learning and bonding is in store for us now. With the present lineup, with new music being written, and pro management on the horizon, we are all very excited for the future of Beautifully Crude. Thanks to everyone who has stuck with us and still love these songs --as much as we love playing them for you. WE LOVE YOU GUYS!! And thanks to Scott Moore for these awesome shots!! Till next time guys, stay Beautifully Crude. ;)~

Current mood:Beautifully Crude
On saturday, July 11th, Beautifully Crude was asked to perform an In-Store acoustic set at the Hot Topic at Rivergate Mall in Nashville, TN. The guys were excited to perform such an intimate show for the Hot Topic customers, as well as hoepfully sell lots of band merch.

Although the acoustic performance was inside Rivergate Mall and being at 1:00pm, the band was glad to see many familiar faces come out on a saturday afternoon! Thanks to all of our fans who made it out --we can't thank you enough!! The many new faces that stayed and listened was greatly appreciated as well. The band sold lots of merch and signed lots of autographs.

Vocalist Michael Ashley, and guitarists Tommy Krantz and Scott Moore performed around 8 or 9 songs, including "For You," "The Truth," and "Ego Trip" off the debut cd, as well as "Work It Out" (check out the video), and "Lost In Time" off the upcoming EP. Hot Topic loved the band so much they asked them to do an In-Store Appearance at another location the following week. Thanks to everyone who came out to the Meet & Greet --you made our day! lol

All in all it was great experience. Look for more acoustic Hot Topic preformances coming later this year. Thanks to T-Hawk and Iconic Rockwear for sponsoring the show with a killer poster. Special thanks to Scott McCullough for the use of his PA equipment --the system was perfect. Thanks to everyone at Hot Topic for the great opportunity and great time. And ofcourse, thanks again to all of our fans --we couldn't do this without you! Till next time... BC. :)

Current mood:Beautifully Crude
On the weekend of June 26 - 27, Beautifully Crude rocked out with lots of screaming fans and lots of gorgeous ladies. Lots of beer and boobs were the recipe and the guys at it up.

SOLVI CD RELEASE --6/26
Friday night BC opened the show for their fellow Music City buddies, SOLVI. The place was packed!newcomers The Max started the night off well with their brand of hip/pop. BC came on to perform 3 new songs, "Lost In Time", "Landslide", and "That part Of Me." The new songs went over great --thank you!! The guys ended the set with their cover of KISS' "Do You Love Me" to the crowds delight. Sorry we don't have more shots of this performance! :)

Thanks to SOLVI (who sounded amazing --and their new cd is awesome) for having us on the bill. We had a great time and met lots of new people. Till we meet again guys!

BOOBIE BUNGALO --6/27
On saturday, BC got to play for, that's right ..the beautifully crude girls of Boobie Bungalo!! The guys made the trip (along with some of their die hard fans --WE LOVE YOU) to 65S -Exit 6 --Elkton, TN -- home of the WORLD FAMOUS BOOBIE BUNGALO! And what a great time they had!!

The band brought a moderate sized PA system, that probably couldve been a little louder for the Bungalo stage, but it did it's job. The sound wasn't bad a t all! Ofcourse the guys ROCKED IT as loud as they could. The beer was flowing, and I do mean FLOWING, along with the dollar bills. And then later, along with the whipped cream. And I do mean FLOWING! lol By the end of the night at the club, the entire band --along with 2 gorgeous naked ladies-- were covered in that stinky shit. lol Let me tell you --when whipped cream dries it smells like puke -- no good! Thank god for the pool at the after party!! lol The band had a great time hanging out with all the girls and guys from the Bungalo at the after party. What a blast! Can't wait to do it again!! Thanks to Jerry Price for the oppurtunity and hospitality. Keep rocking that shit bro. Thanks to all the ladies who rocked out with us, to Lucky for spinning our shit at the club, and ofcourse --OUR FANS!!

Current mood:Beautifully Crude
On saturday, June 30th, Beautifully Crude performed at The Rutledge in Nashville, for the final night of Localpalooza 2009. Put on by Andy at The Rutledge, the 3 day event showcases some of Middle Tennessee's best talent. BC was honored to be asked to play at this awesome event.

Sharing the bill with such great acts as Michael James (awesome local buzz award winner), Mercy Stevens (absolutely AWESOME Fleetwood Mac cover), Vertigo (amazing vocalsist!!), and Snow Black Sunday (another awesome female fronted band) --we were amazed at the talent that was displayed throughout the night.

BC's performiance was very memorable. We performed 2 new songs ("That Part Of Me" and "Lost In Time"), and to our delights the crowd loved them. Thanks to all our loyal fans who came out --we're so glad you enjoy the new stuff!! And to all the new fans we made that night --we apprecaite all the kind words.

All in all, it was a great night. Thanks for the guys in Voodoo Prophet, Forgotten Fable, Sedent, and Love's Tragedy that came out, as well many other local rockers supporting the local scene, and thanks to Ron Macaluso for the cool pics. A huge thank you to Aljon for showing his love, and to Andy for asking us to play Localpalooza 2009.

BC fans --we love you!! Stay tuned for some big news ...

Current mood:Beautifully Crude
Last friday Beautifully Crude traveled to Clarksville, TN to perform with fellow Middle Tennessee's Framing Hanley. Those guys have done quite well for themselves with their hit singles "Lollipop" and "Hear Me Now" burning up the airwaves all over the country. Just fresh off touring with Saving Abel, RED, Shinedown, Trapt, and Red Jumpsuit Apparatus --the guys came through our home away from home, The Warehouse.

We opened the show, and were greeted by screams from the packed crowd. Some of the audience were our great fans, but there were many new faces out there. Thanks to FH, no doubt. The sound onstage was freakin AMAZING (thanks Doug), and the crowd was incredible. We also got some video footage that night, so stay tuned for that (thanks Blair from FCFS). We all had a great time onstage! One of our most memorable shows, for sure. Thanks to everyone who came out to see us!

Next up Flight Case For Sushi. Those guys are all very cool, and Blair even pulled double duties shooting video for the night. They rocked. Third was Sore Eyes, and they were very energetic as well. Lastley, as the club finally sold out, came Framing Hanley.

First off, I just wanna say that the guys in FH can hang with the best of 'em. Those guys party like no tomorrow, and we joined them in their mission!  Inviting Beautifully Crude on their bus was very kind, and they proceeded to be even kinder to us (partying like rockstars is what we do best! lol). Let's just say, thank God we had already played. Those guys, though, like motherfuckin troopers, flooded out of the bus to perform to their sold out crowd. What a show. A big thank you to Brandon for the invite, and to Nixon for the props onstage. Thanks guys --you rock!

All in all, a great time. Thanks to Nate and everyone at The Warehouse. And once again, to everyone who came out, helped out, and rocked out with us. We love you!!

Current mood:Beautifully Crude

Just a note to let you know what we have been up to lately. We have been busy, as usual. Besides for writing lots of new material, we are already in pre-production for our next cd, laying down scratch tracks! We are very excited about the new songs, which is why we haven't played them for anyone live yet. Soon, you will hear some new material from Beautifully Crude!! Stay tuned for that!

We have a new Iconic Rockwear T-shirt design we will be debuting soon! We will have a total of 3 choices of BC t-shirts. Girl shirts coming soon. Let me tell you if you haven't seen an Iconic Rockwear design before, you are going to love these --we promise!

We recently had an awesome photo shoot with Jefferson Dorsey, in Nashville. He is great and we are going to be debuting the new promos soon! We may even revamp a few things, we'll see. I can only post one for you guys, but they are coming soon! A lot of cool stuff. We hope you all love them.

Other than that, we are just playing as much as possible. We have a busy month in May (including with Framing Hanley and other cool stuff) so stay tuned for those shows! Thanks to everyone who contiues to show us love, on myspace as well as when we play --WE LOVE YOU!!

Current mood:Beautifully Crude
Last Wednesday night BEAUTIFULLY CRUDE returned to Clarksville to play with fellow Tennesseans Egypt Central, just fresh off their tour with Disturbed. Also on the bill were War Within (Nashville), and Suppression (Clarksville).

In a way, the Warehouse is home away from home for us, and we were saddened to hear about Doug (soundman) and his mom got in a car accident earlier in the day. Our prayers are with ya buddy. Matt, Suppression's vocalist did a great job as Doug's stand in, having to do double duties. Other than a few issues the bands all sounded great. Thanks Matt!

Egypt Central came on CRAZY late but the crowd stuck around! They sounded pretty fucking bad ass. Beautifully Crude stuck around as well, and pitched a few back with them. Those guys are premo musicians and cool guys.

All in all it was a very cool night, despise the long drive home. We sold tons of merch and met a lot of cool people (the stage manager and roadies for EC were particularly cool). Thanks to Nick at In Your Face Productions for the gig. And ofcourse Mike, Nate and everyone at the Warehouse.

Current mood:Beautifully Crude

Being awarded 6th Most Requested Band of 2008, by 102.9's THE LOCAL
BUZZ back in December, was a huge honor for Beautifully Crude. We were
only getting started back then and it was nice to hear that people were
calling in to request our music.

So, when we were asked to
perform at this year's Local Buzz Rock Awards Show --we were extremely
honored again! To be a part of the biggest local show of the year
would be awesome for any band. THEN we found out we were up for 5
"Buzzy Awards" --wow --we were beyond honored! As most of you know, we
were up for BEST ROCK BAND, BEST SONG, BEST ALBUM, BEST MALE VOCALIST,
and BEST BASSIST. And although we didn't walk away with any awards that
night, it was a very humbling, yet amazingly inspiring for us.

The
fans poored in early for the National Kidney Foundation of Middle TN
fundraiser. Hosted (for the last time) by our good friend Aljon Go of
102.9 THE BUZZ. Aljon, we --along with the entire scene-- will miss you
dearly. And for everything you've done for the Rock scene here in
Nashville --thank you. The night was busy as expected, and with many
tech problems throughout the night --(was the moon full? somebody get
back with me on that). It was a crazy night for all the bands. While
they awarded our buds fORMER the Best Album Award, we were onstage
ready to perform when given the word. About that time Michael tripped
over Tommy's guitar chord and ripped the input OUT of his amp. Long
story short --it could be repaired-- but not then! So, special thanks
to Error 51 for plugging in their Boogie --and away we went!! The
lights went out and the intensity started rising untill our first note
...and then bang!

Our crowd response was absolutely incredible. The energy we felt from the crowd was awesome!!
We performed the selections YOU picked from our poll last week --"FOR YOU" and "EGO TRIP."
Thanks to all of you who were singing along --and to the entire crowd who screamed after each
song --it was an amazing feeling.

Special
Thanks to Aljon, Tony Stone, and everyone at 102.9 The Buzz; Ron
Macaluso for the pics; and EVERYONE who have supported us so far --WE
LOVE YOU!!

Next show is THIS WEDNESDAY 4/15 in Clarksville, TN
--we're performing with EGYPT CENTRAL --who are just off the Disturbed Tour.
Also performing is War Within and Suppression. It should be AWESOME!!
See ya there!

Last weekend BEAUTIFULLY CRUDE combined with fellow Local Buzz bands
Kings In Pieces, Voodoo Prophet, and Caprice to ROCK OUT together with
back to back shows. The result could not have been much better!

Friday
was amazing! The Rutledge was completely packed --and the fans came out
from all over! Special thanks to myspace Chat Room buds: Pat, Jenny,
Nikki, Dev, Ed, Tiffany, John, and Merc --who came from Chattanooga,
Memphis, Knoxville, and everywhere in between. You guys ROCK! We saw
many familiar faces, as usual, and many new faces, as well! Kings In
Pieces opened the show and sounded amazing! Beautifully Crude came out
2nd and enjoyed an energetic set to the packed crowd! Voodoo Prophet
finished the night with some great metal. BC vocalist Michael Ashley
got onstage with the VP guys and did Pantera's "Cowboys From Hell" and
proceeded to screamed his ass off! :) Thanks to everyone who came out,
and to everyone who bought merch. What a great night!!

Saturday
night, BEAUTIFULLY CRUDE traveled to Mufreesboro, TN to perform once
again at Wall Street. The stairs were there, as usual, as well as the
free PBR. Both make for a fun night! Kings In Pieces came out first and
rocked the crowd again! The college crowd bonded to them instantly.
Caprice followed with a condensed version of the band, due to guitarist
Corey "Rizzo" Rizzoni leaving the band earlier in the week. The band
sounded very energetic, despite the missing member. BEAUTIFULLY CRUDE
closed the show, and thanks to everyone who stayed so late --the band
had an incredible crowd! We couldn't ask for any better fans! Sorry for
the late performance (we promise it won't ever happen again ;), but
thank you for staying up late with us --you make it all worth while!
Tony from Caprice got up and sang along with the guys in their cover of
KISS' "Do You Love Me." Thanks bro!

All in all it was a great
weekend! Thanks to Andy at The Rutledge and Kurt at Wall Street for
being so damn cool, as usual. Thanks to Voodoo Prophet and Kings In
Pieces for rocking out with us as well!! And to all the fans who
supported us this weekend and everytime we play --WE LOVE YOU!!

Now,
it's time to get ready for April 10th at The Rutledge --BEAUTIFULLY
CRUDE is performing at the 2009 Local Buzz Rock Awards!! Hope to see
you all there!!

Current mood:Beautifully Crude
When Chris "OgyJoe" Pruitt offered us a slot on his now infamous 3rd Annual Birthday Bash this year, we were honored.

As
most of you know, our previous bands (Generation Down and Shadows Of
Light) have played Chris' party for the last 2 years, it only seemed
right to do it again.

It was a busy evening, as usual. With 5
acts scheduled, the night was full of surprises. All the acoustic acts
were exceptional, with Nissi Lee shining in particular that night. Even
though it was a high competition night (crowd wise), the crowd was
piling in by 9pm, and it was time to start rocking with the electric
sets.

Beautifully Crude hit the stage first. We were happy to
see the crowd ready to rock out with us! The sound was amazing, as
usual. The crowd was awesome, as usual. We had a great time, as usual!
Thanks to everyone who came out -we love you guys!! And a big thank you
to the guy from Texas --who bought us all shots of Jager! ;) Chris joined
us onstage, as usual, to perform a cover song. This year we decided to
play "Do You Love Me" by KISS --and the crowd loved it!! Thanks to
Chris and everyone for singing along.

fORMER, and Elegant
Monsters finished the show while the Beautifully Crude gang got shit
-trashed, as usual ...and pinned themselves at the front of the stage
for fORMER, as usual! Thanks to RON MACALUSO for the awesome pics!!

All in all it was a great night. Thanks Chris! Hope it was a birthday party to remember.

Current mood:Beautifully Crude

Friday night BEAUTIFULLY CRUDE traveled to Bon Auqua, TN to perform a last minute private birthday party for Stevie, the bass player for Big and Rich, and his daughter. The long drive was met with surprise, when we arrived to about 30 teens waiting to be rocked out! An old warehouse was converted to a huge ball room with a very nice stage, lights, and sound system, as well as what looked like a $300,000 recording studio in the back.

Because of the great sound onstage, the band had a blast performing for the kids and a small group of industry producers and peeps. The crowd immediately took to the band's set with screams and dancing. We sold tons of merch!! And the buzz after we played seemed to be electric, so hopefully the band made a few special fans that night.

Our buddy Rob and his wife Jenn were not only gracious enough to invite us to play the event, but also treated the band to Mofioso's (great Italian restaurant) after the show. Thanks Rob!!

Thanks also to Stevie and his daughter Kelly for being so gracious and all the great compliments they had for the band. Check out Big and Rich if you haven't already.
