So you might have noticed that we aren't as active as we used to be.  This is very true.

You might have noticed that most of the original members have all returned.  This is very true.

You also might have noticed that Matt and Richard have a new band. You should all check out: myspace.com/overstarsandgutters.

We would just like to say that TGS is not dead, it's just that we won't be playing as much as we used to.  Or touring.  Or recording that much.  But man, it will sure be a good time when we do, tell ya whaaaaaat!

So by all means, continue to listen to us, talk to us, make fun of us, etc.  We always have and continue to appreciate it.  We are still here.  And so are you!

See you at the shows,

Love,
Third Grade Scuffle

p.s. you can always pass the time by reading punknews.org while listening to Over Stars and Gutters.  That's a good combo.

We finished tracking the new record last week. It's currently being mixed by Stephen Egerton (MxPx, Mustard Plug) and we should be sending it to get mastered at the Blasting Room later this week. Expect the Tracklisting, Album Title, and Artwork soon.

Also, the CD Release show has been set for Friday, May 26th at the Glasnost. We'll be telling you who else is playing soon. Also, we'll be posting dates for our Midwest tour soon.

Current mood:  optimistic
We are currently in dire need of a trombone player.  If you live around the Oklahoma City area, are 18-25, and you aren't lame, then contact us ASAP.  It's also a big plus if you actually like our kind of music, and aren't just some band nerd.  You missed your chance to be in a band sometime around 1996.  Sorry.

Thanks for the warm welcome last night, Lewisville. You guys were great, the bands were most excellent and Fat Daddy's was muy friendly.

We hope to come back soon, so keep your eyes peeled.

Dearest fans, Brian (trumpet) and I (Richard) saw the midnight showing of "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" last night on the largest screen in Oklahoma. Was it good? Yes. Was it dark? Indeed. Should you see it? Word. -Ricardo

A handful of new pictures were added last night. They're kind of old, considering we're too lazy to take any new ones. So tack on about 20 pounds on everyone except Kurt and Eric, and you've got a decent idea of what we all look like now. More pictures can be found at www.thirdgradescuffle.com!
