Respect to promoters everywhere

The "Bridging The Gap" joint promotion brought together by ThisisUll.com and LincolnBands.co.uk has come and gone, and what a good night it was.  Five class bands, playing some excellent tunes.  Met up with a lot of people who were previously only names at the end of an email or a musician on a song on rotation. So, in spite of the small turn out, an enjoyable evening.

From my point of view it ran well on the night, but the time leading up to it gave a startling insight into the hard work promoters put in to get a night running, and to do it week in week out, damn! You guys are good! You deserve so much more credit than you get.

So credit where credits due - kudos to the promoters out there.

And here's to the next one and hoping that it will be that little bit easier to organise.

Reviews of the night can be found on ThisisUll and LincolnBands
