Hey there jelly lovers,

                                           I am here to write a small summary outlining what "The Jelly Festival" is about. It is something that has developed with time and started of life being called "Maze Stock" as most of you would have heard of. It was so called due to the location being set by a field of maize that had been crafted into a maze by small gnomes that enjoy the mapping out of technical geometrical layouts. They are responsible for the majority of crop circles found around England, and also had a large part to play on how our road systems were laid out. Many people account this to the Romans, but actually the Romans were merely following the paths pre laid by the gnomes.

The maze was created every year at the same time. The farmer would put out the field to maize and a few weeks later the maze would appear as if by magic over night. The farmer rightfully saw there was an opportunity to be had and invited people to come and gaze at this wondrous marvel. Soon many people from all around came and enjoyed this spectacular occurrence. So as to thank these allusive people, the farmer and his family had a music day they named, "maize stock". This was a great success, and the gnomes were happy their hard work had been recognised and celebrated. However, one summer  "maize stock" was not organised due to a  busy summer, and many other commitments the farmer and his family had. The little men where not happy. They accepted it for a couple of years, expecting things to revert back to how they were. Though they were not arrogant people, they had become accustomed to the glory they had attracted. When the next two years the ceremonial celebration did not happen, they decided to stop what they were doing and move on.

We have spoken to many experts and apparently the best way of attracting these calculated, shy, but very proud gnomes back is a combination of;  sublime music ( it must be played well or they will never return). With lots of people having fun, relaxing, dancing and being social (Gnomes love to see humans doing this). Combined with loads of jelly. The jelly is the best offering you can give to consolidate a disgruntled gnome and pander to his sensitive nature. So there will be loads of jelly, loads of fun and amazing music, and just maybe we will be fortunate enough to have the gnomes back next year to redesign the maze.
