Adrenaline hail from our hometown of the West Midlands & appeared on the scene in 2004. Consisting of four members, this band brings us a powerful, energising and fresh sound. Adrenaline have proved their success by receiving numerous awards and recommendations from the Birmingham Music Award, to being voted by Kerrang readers to play the Nokia stage at Download ’07. They have also featured on game soundtracks including ‘Flatout’ by Empire Interactive and O’Neil’s Snowboarding DVD release ‘Vertigo’. Having toured with some of the finest metal bands around such as, The Haunted, Mnemic and God Forbid - Adrenaline have become one of the most intense unsigned acts in the West Midlands, if not the UK.

Adrenaline have a distinctive, yet influential sound. For fans of: Lamb of God, Killswitch Engage and The Haunted. With melodic, yet strong & powerful songs, they have mastered different ranges, yet managed to keep the album as consistent as possible. An outstanding album which deserves all the credit it receives!

Throwing you into a pit of destruction, The Bereaved brings out the Lamb of God influences with a heavy, crushing riff that could break bones given the chance. Dave (Lead vocals) sounds exactly like he could raise Lucifer himself with deep, booming growls, quickly changing into a melodic chorus. A great opening track that defnitely puts you in your place.

Playing the Role of God once again has a thrash/ destructive feel to it, with pounding/ heart stopping guitar riffs and drum work, that could easily raise energy in a death defying pit – this has already proven to be a golden live track. As Relentless then follows this brings a pattern of dynamism, with perfect co-ordination between all members of the band to bring you another enthusiastic song from them.

While You Sleep certainly will not put you to sleep. A fast chugging brutal curb stomp with plenty of anger throughout, while the bridge brings us a slow melodic interlude that shows that Adrenaline are no one trick ponyThe band did well to put Sins of a Thousand alongside While You Sleep, the two songs work well together using strong guitar riffs and effective drum work.

Provoking the thought gives that classic head banging feel that sends you running for the pits. After just a quick listening, it has you sweating all over needing a shower. With slow, groovy riffs and harsh vocals Adrenaline once again cease to disappoint.

No Ones Promised Tomorrow is the heart of this album, with slow, melodic guitar riffs. It starts off with a mixture of clean vocals and growls, showing the true potential of this song. Adrenaline keep the feeling going throughout and not for a second do the band let up off the song. Giving a stark contrast to the previous song,Hand over fire has a much faster paced, heavier sound to it. With melodic guitar solos and a brutal - killer bridge, this song isn’t to be missed.

After listening to Kill It For Me the whole way through, I think we needed to lift our jaws up off the ground. This is one of Adrenaline’s best pieces, with a distinctively strong opening that develops into an exceptional song! Inertia may as well be part two of Kill It For Me, as it finishes off the song fluently.

Smile lets Adrenaline’s influences show, but also lets their unique sound radiate. Clearly and flawlessly constructed, the song exhibits a real talent! Nos Da once again, shows Adrenaline’s pristine talent to create amazing tracks - with a chuggy intro followed by smooth melodies, the last but one track does not disappoint. Continuing the song till its climax, a good ending track overall. The Outro provides us a look at the softer side of Adrenaline, a welcome change of pace with its soft acoustic melodies, an amazing end to one hell of an album.

After listening to the whole album thoroughly, it is possibly safe to say that Adrenaline have created themselves a distinctive, signature sound, that has cordoned themselves from your typical death metal bands. Deserving five minutes of your time to check them out, disappointment is certainly not on the menu!

We're sitting in the backstage room of Ivory Blacks in Glasgow, the venue is awesome and we've been given food & drink (it's a good start!) and they have facilities like a toilet and a shower!!

Not sure if we're looking forward to all sleeping together in the van tonight, but it's going to be interesting all the same.

We'll be keeping the pics on here updated daily so make sure you check back to see where we are and whats going on!

Whooaaaa we should really update this thing more often!

Hows it goin everyone? We've been real busy of late, doing the video for sins of a thousand and rehearsing like crazy in between the odd gig to get ready for the upcoming tour. I know the dates aren't on here yet but they are all sorted so we'll stick them up when we have in the list.

The album has been well received with tons of reviews and all of them good (well almost all, you can't please everyone!) Most of them are here but there are LOADS of others on the net if you search for the album name - http://www.coprorecords.co.uk/Casket/DisplayBand.asp?ID=181

We hope you are all enjoying it and are as pleased with it as we are.

Hopefully the next time i write in the blog we'll be on the road in a venue somewhere or other, i'll make sure it's updates with pictures and stuff when we're on the road.

Take it easy

Bo has left the band

Unfortunately this isn't good news or a wind up. Rembo has left the band and as sad as we are to see him go this is what he needed to do. He has written a statement for you all to read that will be posted in the blog section of the Myspace.

"I'm afraid I break my silence on this site with some bad news, after many months of thought I've decided to leave Adrenaline. This is the hardest decision I have ever had to make, I have had the best 5 years with the 4 safest people I had the good fortune to meet. I just feel that I cannot commit as much as the band needs at this point in my life.

I'll still be there for them and give as much support as I possibly can! Thank you to everyone who has ever supported me and the band and keep listening because the new album is going to be fuckin unreal. Thanks to Keith the main man for everything you've ever done for us.

Thanks to everyone and once again, it's been amazing.

Bo"

We would all like to wish Bo the best of luck in what ever he decides to do. He has been a big part of the band over the past few years after being with us from the start of it all and will be missed by all of us very much. As from now on the band is now a 4 piece, the recording will still go ahead as scheduled and the album will be released once finished.

The band is not going to split up, hope to see you all soon on the 8th of Feb next week. It'll be our first gig without Bo and showcasing the new stuff so everyone's support will be much appreciated by us.
