We are in Marseille and it's the most wonderful place. Sunny and hot and everyone has been very kind to us. Thanks to Nidge and Gill for coming all the way and thanks for Sylvio for being such a great host. Tonight he is taking us for seafood after spending all day taking us sight seeing and up and down lots of stairs.

... to Frederic, Julien, France and Olivier for doing such a wonderful job of organising and looking after us in Paris. We had a wonderful time and couldn't have wished for more. A big thankyou too for Eric for such beautiful contributions to the show. There is a lack of recorder players who are out there playing music and yet we managed to have 2 recorders played at once on Saturday! Thanks to all who came and supported us and to everyone who played their part. I am now going to drink some red wine and eat the cheese I bought this morning to remind me of the time I have just had.

I will be playing a solo set in Paris at the end of March and will post details soon. This will be as support to Simon Finn who will be playing guitar for my set and I will be playing various instruments in his set.

There will also be some shows with Simon in Moscow, Greece and the UK in April.

I will also be playing as part of Current 93 at the Donau festival - details of this are at www.durtro.com

Simon Finn has a new album coming out - Accidental Life. I play all kinds of instruments on it and other friends are also featured - Karl Blake, Danielle Dax, Rose McDowall, Keith Godman, Tony Uter and David Toop. Simon writes truly amazing songs and this album has been produced by Vic Keary who produced 'Pass the Distance'. It's great.

I will be going to see NWW in London so to anyone who is there - see you there and thanks for looking at my first ever 'blog'.

For anyone in or near London or Coventry, I will be playing some songs at the upcoming Baby Dee shows. The Green Note in Camden on the 4th October and the 5th October in Coventry. I'll have the support of Simon Finn and Gavin Uncle, both on the guitar.
