after several years, our third album, "CREATOR/DESTROYER", is finally out.  it'll probably be available on several different internet sites soon, but until then, you can order copies off of us.

send your address and $9 cash, check or money order to:

curtis frey, 12 westfield place, athens, oh 45701

(make all checks payable to curtis frey)

we also have a new 7" out; a split with kill the hippies.  we have 2 songs, they have 3 (the bastards!).  if you want that, send us $5.  if you want both, $14.

we also hope to have paypal and all that nerd crap soon.

spanks for the memories.

hey.  just so everybody knows, we're playing blackoutfest on saturday this year at 6 pm, and, in my opinion, we're playing with the best chunk of bands all weekend, and most of em are local.  starting at 4 that day, paper machetes are playing, then, the white album, then loaded revulvas, then the motherfucking terrible twos (hell fucking yes!!!!  i totally helped make that happen.  you're welcome athens), then us at 6pm then the makebeblieves.  then some other jokers and eventually this monent in black history are playing, some more jokers, and eventually the river city tanlines are playing. so if you can only pick one day to go to blackoutfest, i would definitely suggest going to saturday, and going early.  we're also playing horriblefest tomorrow at now thats class in cleveland.

creator/destroyer is done.  it'll probably be out in about a month.  its a huge monster of a mother-fucking album, especially considering its the first thing i engineered so mnay of the tracks on and also mixed and mastered it completely on my own, on equipment i've never used before.  its pretty hellacious.  i'm a genius.  i'll be posting two songs every friday.  some of em will be editied cause they're too long, but yeah...  -dirty

man, i've been watching cribs all day (its the only thing on, and i haven't watched it in years cause its pretty stupid).  and everybody's got nice houses and shit (except maybe redman, who keeps it real, you know what i'm saying?), but man, russel simmons, makes everybody look like they're all  still in the ghetto.  it is probably the hugest, phattest crib ever in the history of cribs.  it is unreal.  his segment was actually two parts.  and run was hangin in everyroom they'd go to (or i guess he's called "the rev" now, cause he's a reverand.  eitherway, greatest mc of all time.  get "tougher than leather" and believe what i'm saying) cause, for those that don't know, he's russel simmons' brother (joe simmons).  my jaw was hitting the floor, his house was so freaking huge and swanky.  it just never ended.  until it did.  -dirty

1. our march 10th cd release show for our album , "creator/destroyer" at casa is totally freakin cancelled.

2.  jenna of ghettoways in brooklyn is putting out a 7" of  "she who makes dogs shiver" b/w "beep beep beep" & "dare 2b stupid"

3. while lookin through my hundreds of cd-r's of various mixes and masters to find usuable mixes for the 7", i found a cd-r that has a pretty good mix for every song on the album.  i might look for some alternates, but it made me decide to at least release these pretty raw and punk rockin mixes of "creator/destroyer" on  non-prophet on cd-r, hopefully available in as soon as a couple of days.

4.  erick, if you still want to release this joint on vinyl, send me your address, and i'll send you a cd-r or two and you can decide if you wan to release these mixes.  i could probably send you a dozen different mixes and you could choose your own mixes.  maybe.

so, my recording equipment got fucked up.  i don't know when its gonna be fixed, or if the memory is gonna be recovered.  if i wasn't retarded, and had back up files for the album i've been working on for the past year, i coulda fixed it myself.  so it seems we have yet another "lost album" on our hands.

having said that, jenna from the ghettoways in brooklyn wants to put out dare2bstupid and she who makes dogs shiver on 7".  i also offered a third short song called beep beep beep to put on the same side as dare2bstupid.  i said fuck it and just started going through my hundereds of cd-rs with hundreds of different mixes on them to try to find decent mixes for a punk rock 7"; it doesn't have to sound perfect. who gives a shit at this point?.

i really only tried two subpar cd-rs when i discovered a dust covered disc lying by the boombox, and i ended up liking all of the mixes of all the songs on the album.  there were a couple mixes i might try to find alternate versions of, but i think creator/destroyer might still see the light of day, at least as a cd-r for now.  but i also am planning on putting all the songs on myspace, a couple at a time, a couple might be too long to post on myspace.  whatever.  its better than nothin. beggars can't be choosers.  (we're the beggars)
