The Patti Spadaro Band is bringing our unique, fun, and inspiring blend of bluesy jam rock to Moondogs this Friday Nov 7th, 9:30pm. Moondogs is a Pittsburgh classic, hosting awesome local and national talent. They've got a new stage and sound system, with a friendly, down home atmosphere. Female drummer Janelle Burdell will be rippin it up with us. She used to work with Mickey Hart (of the Grateful Dead) doing sound production & drum programming for The Other Ones and Planet Drum. We'll be lettin loose getting into some funky sycopated grooves, Patti's soulful, wailing guitar solos and big wide communal jamming. We've got some tasty originals planned, including a brand new song written by Patti, never yet performed by the band. Plus, lots of other great music, including the Allman Brothers, Grateful Dead, Bob Marley, John Mayer, Bonnie Raitt, The Clarks, Little Feat, Eric Clapton, Jimmy Hendrix, Joan Osborne....
We'll be slowing down a little this winter as Patti writes some new tunes and Jeff our keyboard player welcomes his new twin baby boys into the world. So, come on out now! Live music depends on a live audience. We truly would love to see you there.
Thanks!
Patti, Jeff, Ken and Janelle
