Remember the Seneca Women's Encampment For A Future Of Peace & Justice
In the summer of 1983, 12,000 women came there to take a stand against nuclear weapons and US militarism. The public is invited to a showing of 2 films:
"Every Woman Here: Remnants of Seneca 1982-2006", "Stronger Than Before", the award-winning video shown on PBS, and a photo exhibit to be presented Friday and Saturday, May 30 &31, 7 PM at the wheelchair accessible Women's INFOrmation Center, 601 Allen St., corner Harvard Pl., Syracuse. Suggested donation is $5 to $10. There will be a discussion with women of the Peace Encampment Herstory Project followed by refreshments, music, and socializing DVDs & photos will be sold.
