RECORD RELEASE SHOW... The record release show it set for Friday December 12th at Club Echo, in our hometown of Huntington, WV. We will be performing most of the new album, and a "Light Carriers" selection or two. We were fortunate enough to enlist the mighty Rebreather to share the bill. We've been putting together a live visual presentation, complete with a huge projection screen and video to accompany the album artwork.
NEW DRUMMER... We have recruited fellow West Virginian and kindred spirit Jude Blevins as the new (and first) Hyatari drummer.
NEW MERCH... We will have brand new t-shirt designs for sale at the record release show and on our website/myspace (coming soon).
Much thanks to Rod Lanham at Caustic Eye Productions for helping us get this off the ground.
We hope you enjoy the new record, and thanks for sticking around. - CT

Huntington, West Virginia's drone merchants HYATARI will release their sophomore effort, 'They Will Surface', this December. The much-delayed album will be released with the assistance of the Charleston, WV independent record label Caustic Eye Productions.
HYATARI is conceived and executed by guitarist Mac Walker and bassist Chris Tackett, formerly of Huntington, WV artists CHUM (Century Media), and electronic composer/DJ Brett Fuller.
Caustic Eye Productions is most notable for releasing early material by Charleston's groove/thrash metal gurus BYZANTINE and solo material by Skip Cromer of BYZANTINE and BAGHEAD.
The CD-release show will be held at Huntington's Club Echo on December 12, with the album being available online from The End Records, All That Is Heavy store, as well as the band's own web site shortly thereafter.
