It is with a heavy heart that I inform you that Chris (Reaver's current live keyboardist) and Marsha Mais lost their 10 week old daughter, Kairi, to SIDS last wednesday. They are in my thoughts and prayers. In order to assist them in their time of need, Radio-Active-Music (our label) has put together a compilation. It is $5 for a download and contains an exclusive track by Reaver entitled "Minion." All proceeds will go to the family of the deceased. Soon, I will be releasing the story behind the forthcoming album by Reaver in a few episodes.
Well into the 21st Century, humankind interacts with each other on a virtual plane of existence known as the Interface. One madman, Rael, has discovered a way to hack into the Interface and devour the minds of unsuspecting victims.
The series will chronicle how one man can go from 21st century savage to angel of death.

Greetings everyone,
Its been a while since there has been an official press release, so its time to compile the happenings with Reaver in one place.
Live Lineup
On albums, Reaver is and has always been Rick a.k.a. Raziel a.k.a. R.'..
As of July, 2009, the core of the live lineup is Rick and Scareypete, with Rick on vocals and Scareypete on electronics and embellishments. Occasionally, we have our friend Synthicide assist us on keyboard.
Compilation Appearance
Reaver will be making an appearance on Welt Musik's "Industrial Hell" compilation, along with label mates Die With Me Tonight, as well as great groups such as Alien Vampires and To Mega Therion. This is one you don't want to miss. The Reaver track is entitled "Minion" and is exclusive.
Reaver will also be on the annual free download comp put forth by Dark Mourning Promotions, entitled "Pulse." The track will be "Rage of Angels," which is also exclusive to this compilation.
Both of these tracks are the only Reaver tracks you will hear that have guitar in them. So you get to hear Raziel's skills.
Future EP
Reaver is proud to announce work on the next EP. It will contain 5 NEW songs, as well as 5 remixes of those songs. The 5 new songs will follow a character study of a post-human character who appeared in a short story written by R.'. and will touch on social issues such as dependence on goverment entitlements, living vicariously through entertainment, and coping with the desire to learn in a world where the mind is abdicated for the sake of comfort. The title is "Darwin 2.0."
This is being composed now, and will be released some time late this year or early next year.
Live Performances
Raziel has been out of town a lot the past month, however, we will be doing live shows in the near future and are looking to book. We will have updates soon.
Current Live Schedule: August 13, 2009 - at Fallout in Richmond, VA.

Hi Everyone,
Just letting you know that Raziel has been doing a lot of travelling for his "day job," and hasn't had much time to access this page. We do appreciate all of you who have added us recently, even if we don't specifically send you a message thanking you. Right now, Raziel's got a lot on his table in his personal life and hasn't found the time to properly access the myspace page.
Though, all personal messages will be answered, addressed, and etc. Please feel free to leave them :).

We must announce the departure of Miko Lestrange from the live lineup. He is extremely busy between school, DJing, and traveling to DC and decided it was best to prioritize. We wish him the best and shall support him in all his endeavors. Kaos shall continue! -R

Hey everyone,
Its been a while since I've posted a blog here. Some people have been raising concerns about the "revolving door" aspect of Reaver's live lineup. The answer is that, like many electro-industrial and EBM acts, Reaver is the brainchild of one man: R.'. aka Raziel aka Rick.
It was, is and always will be this way. No matter who is on stage supporting the performance, Reaver will remain alive until nails are pounded into R's coffin - and perhaps beyond. Reaver has gained a lot of new fans in recent months, and they must be reminded of this fact. The only exception is that I occasionally allow my talented friends to help me write lyrics.
Now with that said, to those who take part in the live act, be they actually on stage, contributing to the tech setup, taking photos, or standing in the front of the crowd dancing and singing - I am forever in all your debt. You guys rock and I love each and every one of you.
So, yes, the lineup will flip flop from time to time and show to show. People get busy. It happens. The great thing about a project like this is that its fairly easy to find talented performers and DJs who can quickly take up the sword for the kause of kaos when needed. Just don't let it alarm you. As long as R.'. is alive, Reaver is not dead.

P.S. Expect new material in the near future. Reaver is making a compilation appearance, as well as doing occasional studio work to compose new songs.
