Installations will remain on view at Eyebeam, Saturday, March 7, Noon - 6PM, with free entry.

MIXER, Eyebeam's quarterly event series dedicated to showcasing leading
artists in the fields of live audiovisual performance, interactive and
participatory art, will present its fifth iteration on Friday, March 6
- Saturday, March 7, 2009. Using the World's Fair as the framework,
Eyebeam will transform its rugged warehouse space into a temporary
village of utopian pavilions for a two-night extravaganza called MIXER:
EXPO.

Both evenings will include musical guests: Tim Sweeney
(Friday, Midnight - 2AM) and Juan Maclean (Saturday, Midnight - 2AM);
multimedia pavilions by Angela Co + Aeolab, Anakin Koenig, Chris
Jordan, and Caspar Stracke, and Not An Alternative; interactive
installations by Taeyoon Choi and Cheon pyo Lee, The Institute for
Faith-Based Technology, Mark Shepard, Cati Vaucelle, Steve Shada, and
Marisa Jahn; and fashion performances by Di Mainstone.

Eyebeam MIXER

This last MIXER for 2008 is going to be unlike any other and for more than an evening art stroll with a glass of sponsored wine. Production Lab fellow David Jimison (BoozBot | Anywhere But Here | Madlib Karaoke) and Paul Amitai (MIXER mastermind) have pulled together a crack team of set designers, fashionistas, artists, performers, and of course AMAZING musicians, to create an evening UNDERGROUND.

The evening is capped by musical performances by Roxy Cottontail (NYC) + Judi Chicago (ATL) + DJ N-RON (NYC)

The Eyebeam warehouse is being transformed into an enormous multi-level labyrinth, with tunnels, trap doors, and more.

We're really excited about the lineup for the next MIXER!

In the Main Space, we've got Kudu (smoking hot NYC electro rock act), BiLLLL$ (Guillermo E. Brown's new spaced out funk project), and The Collection Agency (yours truly on the sounds and Zarah Cabañas on the visuals).

Throughout the night, we have kick-ass projects all over the building from Eyebeam artists Friedrich Kirschner, Addie Wagenknecht, Jerry Juarez, and Jeff Crouse & David Jimison. Make sure to stop by and get a drink from BoozBot.
