Current mood:  accomplished
So remember when I posted a blog about how much I enjoy coming across random/unique/weird/funny pictures and how I wanted to share some of my photos with you guys...?

And then I asked if you guys would send me a whole bunch of random/unique/weird/funny pictures just for the sake of looking at random/unique/weird/funny pictures?

Well... you guys sent in a crap load.  And I thank you for that. And I thank the people that still are sending in photos... (I'm probably going to have to post another blog because of that)

Anyways, here are just a few out of many!  Gracias!

The other night we decided to grab our guitars and head down to the beach to jam on some of our new songs. We got a little bonfire up and going and busted out the smores. Nothing like burnt marshmallows and sandy graham crackers....! Oh... and yeah, news songs too!

enjoy!

I know you all know that I love pictures... taking them, looking at them, and... well that's about it for me.  (I don't have time to photoshop my pictures like all you technologically advanced humans do) However, I love really random, interesting, weird photos that you kind of just look at for the sake of looking at.

Anyways, I have a couple pictures that have nothing really to do with music, but just for viewing pleasure that I thought I'd share with you guys.

ANDDD, if any of you have funny, weird, interesting, gross, strange, unique, etc, photos that you'd like to share with me, send them to acmfanstuff@gmail.com and sometime in the future I'll compile an album of everything together!

Hey everybody,

Really quick I want to thank everybody who came out to our show with Eye Alaska on Saturday... It was such a fun show and we had a blast.  We want to personally thank Eye Alaska for inviting us to play... They are some of our closest friends and make sure you buy their new album, Genesis Undergroud, out now!

Last week I took a cruise with my fam down to Mexico for a couple days.  I took some pics for ya'll... and some more from the show.  Hope you enjoy!

We left from San Diego and headed down to Cabo San Lucas. Took us about two days to get down there.

Finally I could stand on the bow of the boat, put my hands out in the air like Leo Decaprio, and yell from the top of my lungs... "I'M ON A BOAT!"

Photobucket

Docked in Cabo on Tuesday... I'll give you the sitch. Air: 110 Degrees Water: 82 Degrees. I was happy (:

These guys had cute little uniforms.

These guys were awesome. I already told our manager about them... Gonna try to get the a record deal by the end of the month.
La Cucaracha and Tequilla have never sounded that good on the vibes before.

The kid on the right stole the show. He shredded every chance he got. It was one of those things were you could tell he was kind of
the leader of the group, had the most experience and knowlege. The one you go to for guidance when in need.
I mean the tip jar is closest to him!!

Photobucket

We then headed to the beach to swim and tan... For me that means building sand castles and getting burnt.

Photobucket

Trying to get artsy... anyone?

Photobucket

After escaping reality for a couple days, we started to get ready for our show. Here's some pics from Saturday.
I believe my dad took these... now you know where I get my skills from! haha.

Before we get to the studio blog I want to relay a little message from Dillan!--

Our Forum is up! Come over and chat with us and other people who like our band at our forum! Now, the forum rocks because you guys can talk to each other about random things, relating to ACM or not, and we will be stopping in periodically to either set roomers straight or give you guys a much needed ear full of our opinion on whatever. Everyone in this band has a strong opinion on everything BELIEVE ME.

to whoever is our first member, that is, whoever signs up as a member to our forum and posts a new topic, before anyone else, under the "anything goes" section with the subject title "The first shant be last!" I will reply to your post with a link to a youtube video of me (Dillan) personally thanking you. sound good?!?! get it done.

pictures from the studio

cellllo! colin hereee.

the following studio photography was done by various members of a cursive memory over the last few weeks. we thought it would be good to post some pictures to give you more of a visual idea of what we've been up to.

this is tico and perdida, matt's chiuahuah and dalmatian. our extended family so to speak.

this is dillan, most likely playing a game on his iphone where you shoot bananas out of a cannon at chimpanzees or something. if you need usesless iphone application reccomendations, he can help you out :]

these are some boards with some keys on them

just learned how to play the guitar with four hands

this is matt's friend kevin's studio where we recorded some of the piano for the record

this is mark practicing the C-Major scale I just taught him, he's having some trouble but he'll get it.

"Mark it's the white keys only, you can do it."

this is @shaunprofeta, most likely updating his twitter about his dog lucas

shaun and i really wanted to be progressive with our guitar playing on the record, so we recorded every note of every chord played with a different amp

the little black thing with the silver knobs is called a space echo, it can cause brain implosion

this chandelier was napoleon bonaparte's. it was given as a gift to him from colonel thornton after the war of 1812. napoleon was in the united states at the time, so expedited it back to paris on one of his fleets returning home. the ship sank somewhere in the atlantic, never to be seen again, until spanish treasure scavengers found it ten years ago. the studio owner bought it at a private auction and now it hangs from the ceiling. or at least that could be what happened, i dont know for sure. its most likely from the home furnishing section at wal-mart.

these guitar's were paul mcart... sorry ill stop :]

more coming soon!
