It seems like forever that we've been home. Or even in the U.S. It feels great to be back and we are really looking forward to the next three months that we will spend living together in Burbank, CA. We haven't had time off from touring in a while now and we haven't ever had the chance to really put a lot of time into making a CD. Our last CD "11 days" we recorded, mixed, mastered and completed by ourselves in just 11 days. Hence the title we came up with for the album. We recently switched management and are now managed by Richard and Stephanie Reins the owners of Drive Thru Records. We have been talking extensively about what our future plans will be and our options are all up in the air right now. We don't wan't to rush into anything and we mainly wan't the opportunity to write and record a real record without the hassle of working against the clock. We are going to take the summer off from touring and we are all moving into The Oakwood Appartments where we can write and practice all day. Hopefully by next month we will go into pre-production with all of our new songs and then we will have a better idea of where and when we will be recording the album, when the new CD will be coming out, when we will be back out on the road, etc... In the meantime, keep in touch and we will update you with pictures and videos and updates from the studio. We will be playing a few shows here and there too so look out for those shows. Whats up everybody just wanted to drop u all a line and let u know that things are amazing here in japan!!! This is our first tour over here and things couldn't be better. The shows are great, the people are super friendly, and the food is amazing! And it wouldn't be an NHOI tour if there wasn't craziness within the first day of the tour....right when we landed at the airport, we got detained for two hours because we didn't have proper work visas (it's a long story why), so we had to get interogated in a seperate room, and finally, they decided to let us into their country!! But we're stoked now, and we have finally kicked off our 5 country tour, it's freakin awesome!! And for all 7 weeks of our touring, we are filming all of the footage for a DVD that will be released in the next several months. Our good friend Brad Hasse is Directing and filming the footage, everyone should go check out his work at www.bradonio.com He has lots of amazing photography from around the world, I'm sure u will see why we chose him as our videographer! Other than that, keep checking back, we will be writing these blogs as often as we can to keep u posted. Our next blog will include some really funny stories that have happened on the tour.
