LORCA ROCK 2009 COMPLETA SU CARTEL CON BIOHAZARD Y VOIVOD

Desde la organización del festival LORCA ROCK 2009 queremos anunciar que hemos cerrado el cartel de la edición del 2009 con la incorporación de los grupos Voivod y Biohazard; dos bandas de culto muy queridas en este país.

Biohazard vuelven a los escenarios con su formación original; Evan Seinfeld al bajo, Billy Graziadei y Bobby Hambel a las guitarras y Danny Schuler a la batería, para traernos su mejor NY Hardcore, y los canadienses Voivod, amados por gente como Jason Newsted, Lars Ulrich y compañia, pondrán una nota discordante con su particular fusión de thrash y metal progresivo.

LORCA ROCK ANNOUNCES FINAL LINE-UP WITH THE ADDITIONS OF BIOHAZARD AND VOIVOD

We are really happy to confirm our final line up for this year's edition of LORCA ROCK FESTIVAL, with the last additions of NYHC veterans Biohazard (who return with their original line-up) and canadian progressive thrashers Voivod.

If you have never been to Lorca all we can say is that the city is located in the Mediterranean south-east coast of Spain. We have been doing the festival for twelve years and all we can promise is we have good music, cheap booze (not just cold beer!) and a nice site; could you ask for more?

RECINTO Y SITUACION / GETTING THERE

La edición 2009 del festival Lorca Rock se celebrará en el Huerto de la Rueda, dentro del núcleo urbano de Lorca y a un paseo de 5 minutos aproximadamente del centro de la ciudad.

El festival contará con diferentes barras, con cerveza, refrescos y por supuesto comida.

A tan sólo 10 minutos en coche de la playa de Aguilas (y de lo que es mejor, de las cálidas aguas del mar Mediterráneo) el sitio del festival es el lugar ideal para los conciertos, con una gran explanada para el escenario y diferentes sitios con sombra donde sentarse un momento para relajarse.


Lorca se encuentra en el extremo sur-oriental de la península, a tan sólo 450 kilómetros de la capital y comunicada por autovía con Murcia, Valencia, Granada,...

TREN
 Un fluido y bien dotado servicio de trenes de cercanías facilita al viajero una rápida comunicación entre Murcia y Lorca. Esto permite al visitante que proceda de la zona Centro bajarse del tren de largo recorrido y, casi sin perdida de tiempo, subirse al cercanias que en apenas tres cuartos de hora lo trasladará a Lorca.

 Parada recomendada: Apeadero de San Diego (a tan sólo 100 metros del recinto).

 Enatcar es la principal empresa que presta su servicio en el corredor del Mediterráneo. Los siete autocares con parada en Lorca unen, de manera directa, Barcelona, Tarragona, Castellón, Valencia, Alicante, Almería, Granada, Málaga y, Algeciras con nuestra ciudad.

Lorca Rock 2009 will take place in Huerto de la Rueda site, within Lorca city and about 5 mins away from city center.

The festival will have many bars, with beer, soft drinks and spanish specialities like omelette sandwiches or kalimotxo, as well some nice spots to chill out and a metal market.

Lorca Rock site is 10 mins away by car from Murcia's beaches (mediterranean sea!) and about 150 mts walk from the camping site.


Lorca is in the south-east coast of Spain. About 450 kms away from the capital, it is connected with several highways with Spain main cities.
