Just thought I'd post that the surgery was a success and all is on the way to being well with the ol' hand. It's been a definite struggle, but sooner than later, we'll be back in the gnar seat. I've been filling my days with hangin' with my gal, watching (A LOT of) movies,
and eating 'za. CANNOT WAIT TO JAM!

A big thanks to Joe: we finally got the tapes and they're gorgeous. Hit us up if you want to purchase a copy!

well puppies and kitties, the time has come: keith (due to MAJOR hospital fuck-ups) is having a screw put in his hand so he can be normal again. unfortunately, because of that, we have had to cancel all the shows in january for his recovery. we should be back in business for the Aseethe/ Snow Demons show on te 12th of february.

hope all is well. EA, lord of the tapes has our cassette version of 'pray for water' so hit em up! (joerules.perdomocore.com/ea) we can't wait to see 'em! they're going to be doing some sick shit for packaging so we are pumped.

Trying to bid on old metallica tapes on eBay and then realizing that $10 for a Spanish pressing of 'Kill 'Em All' really isn't worth it.

We've got some March shows we're in the process of booking...hopefully with a sweet band, as well. More on that as it unfolds!

honestly, one of the best shows we've ever played there, and hands down one of our favorite shows we've played period. thanks for making it such an intense time last night!

Thanks to our brothers in ASEETHE, we are joining them, as well as label mates, SHORES OF THE TUNDRA, for a handful of out of town shows on the weekends in January of next year. Check back for all the final details.

ALSO, if you're from Des Moines and want to see us again, the last time until February is going to be the BLACK ACID DEVIL show at the Haunted Basement, SO, if you'd like to see us sooner than later, make sure and come out. BLACK ACID DEVIL rips as well, so be prepared.

We're about 1/3 of the way done with the writing of the upcoming record that'll be out next year, so more news on that as it progresses.

well, well, welly, welly, well. how is everyone these days?

just thought we'd share with you, what's going on as of late:

-we are currently writing for our 2nd full length, and it is sure to be a doozy. we've got special plans for this one, but we'll wait until we get closer to when it comes out to unleash the news. :) so far we've got 4 songs written, and we plan on writing heavily in the coming months. you can bet yr bottom dollar, the 2nd lp will be out late spring/ early summer 2010. shiiit.

-ea, lord of the tapes will be releasing a cassette version of 'pray for water' in the next couple of months, limited to 100. be sure to check that out when it comes out: we are stoked. joerules.perdomocore.com/ea - check that site out. so far, ea: lott has released a cassette by HOST (which totally rules, and i HIGHLY recommend it), as well as a pretty gnarly distro. get sick.

-in the coming arctic months, we are planning to do a mini tour or two with our brothers in ASEETHE. we love them, and so should you. they're on our top friends list: dig it.

-due to the writing of the 2nd record, we are also going to just be playing the remainder of the shows we have booked for the year, and just focus on our writing and gathering a mass of thunderous equipment. WOOF.

Just so you folks know, there are some exciting things in the works for the ol' DRUIDS boys. We're very excited to announce everything once it's all finalized and ready to go, so sit tight. We just won't spill the beans quite yet. We will just say there will be some releases in the near future on formats that we never thought we'd get to put music out on! Stoked!

We begin tomorrow, writing for more tunes for the tentatively titled 2nd LP, 'The Jesus Joint'. Use your imagination. :) Tomorrow will be filled with more tunes and jammage. Get ready...shit's getting different.

thank you very, very much for making our CD release show such a success! it was a great time, and although there were loads of you in the mews, it was such an intimate feeling that we've never felt in this band: THANK YOU. words cannot describe how awesome it feels to know you guys (and gals) dig it!

our mini excursion was a really great time...i would like to say, though, that in particular, our night with andrew and blaire in kansas city was an exceptional time. thanks for letting us crash at your house and drinking beers with us!

we have already begun work on new material and plan on doing a new record probably early next year. keep your eyes peeled, folks!
