Hi,

Orphan Ann is a brand new recording project that I'm starting work on.

Yesterday I started demoing new material with my friend Laurie Agar on drums. A rough mix of "four star hotel" from yesterday's session has been uploaded to myspace.com/orphanannmusic.

We're just getting the basics at this point for six or seven songs; guitar, vocals, drums and bass. The demos will hopefully be complete by mid May and will be as decent as I can possibly get them. I'm going to then pass on them on to some of the wonderful musicians I've met through my business Lempicka Records for suggestions, second opinions etc, and take any expressions of interest to work on a studio EP in the months following.

So hopefully by the end of this year we'll have an EP with some sweet tunes to put in the old cd player.

I've also opened a twitter and facebook account for those who wish to observe the project's progress.
