We were just in Las Vegas and saw a few shows.
First was Cirque "O" at the Bellagio, I love the cirque shows but I must be honest, I do not fully understand them if there is soposed to be a message or meaning coming thru to the audiance. I love watching them and I am fully entertained however it seems to jump from one scene to another with no connections . If someone has insight on this I would love to hear your views.
Next was Bette Midler, The Showgirl must Go On, big thanks to Dennis and Andy for the tickets, We had a great seat area looking at the full stage. Bette is very talented and it show that she enjoys doing the show. A must see for anyone. Let me know if you have seen Bette and what you think about her show.
There is a small show at the Rivera Hotel / casino called Frank and Barbra, the concert that never was, It is a live show featuring impersonations of Frank Sinatra and Barbra Striesand, both do their own singing and acting and can be very believable. it is a cute and fun show that keeps your attention.
The last show we caught on this trip was at the Tropicanna Hotel, Follies Begere. and authentic Vegas Showgirl Extravaganza complete with topless showgirls, a male dance lineup, and a comedian that kept the audiance laughing and gasping, Follies Begere is high in production and worth the time and money to see a real piece of Vegas History.
Blue Man group is performing at the Venetian Hotel, this show was fun and filled with surprises. I wont spoil the surprises, you have to see for yourself.
Phantom of the Ppera is also at the Venetian, A lovely tale adapted to the stage in Vegas with great visual effects and props. The story is not lost and moves along at a pace anyone can follow. a Must see!!!
share your views with me about the shows you have sen in Vegas and if you reccomend them.
