Ok everybody, the weather is changing and we all have Spring Fever, I hear ya', I got that! Just before this nasty winter reared it's ugly head, Radstarr and James Wayman decided to go into LNL Studios in Elgin and begin work on what was believed to be just a one song single, called "Not That Perfect." Since then, we have spent the last 6 months off and on in the studio, with several different accomplished musicians, working on what has turned into a three song EP/Single "Not That Perfect." I have been working three jobs in the shitty radio industry and James has been teaching and gigging with somewhere between 4 and 7 different bands! It has not been easy, rather tough actually, to make the time in between all the jobs, gigging, family, and nasty weather, but we both made it happen. We are finally close to finishing this thing, and though it clocks in at under 10 minutes, it is a fun listen that has become very addicting; if I do say so myself! We went in the studio last week for the last time to add some keys, guitars, and a few bleeps and bloops, ie handclaps, and other fun stuff! We are now in the process of mixing the EP, or at least Larry Kriz from LNL is, and I am super excited to get a reaction from everybody!? I am shooting for the end of May, but not sure, as I think we are going to press a couple hundred cds for the people who still love spinning discs, and also love having a hard copy of their music! I am working on the cover art right now and am just about done with that as well. My excitement is peaking so I will keep you posted with all the info as I get it. This experience has really inspired me and I have to thank James for getting me back in the studio and giving my music a voice. I also have to thank Larry Kriz, owner of LNL Studios in Elgin, for his patience that helped us persevere. This is only the beginning of Radstarr, so please stay tuned!
