11.06.09 Our 1st release in almost a year will be the underground ultra gore sensation Slaughtered Vomit Dolls. Slaughtered Vomit Dolls is a gorehounds wet dream. Street Date is Nov 24.
Slaughtered Vomit Dolls
What happens to a woman when she is abused by her parents, becomes a runaway at the tender age 14, is molested by a local priest who takes her in, and is then used and abused by nearly everyone she comes into contact with?
For Angela Aberdeen the answer is to turn away from the human race and all earthly reality by making a sacred pact with Satan. After enlisting his protection in return for her eternal soul, her first act is to burn down the priest's church as he lays passed out drunk on the floor. She then flees to the city where she develops a horrible addiction to alcohol and drugs. Angela quickly spirals downward in her journey to Hell. Stripping turns to pornography and prostitution, and as her deadly addictions tear her body apart, she realizes that even Satan has seemingly forsaken her.
Slaughtered Vomit Dolls is the opening film of the infamous Vomit Gore Trilogy directed by Lucifer Valentine. We must warn you that the thoroughly evil and outrageous DVD that you hold in your hands contains the answer to a very elemental question. How deranged, demented and depraved can one person's existence be? Are you willing to push the boundaries in order to find out? Are you confident enough to test the true strength of your grip on reality? Do you have the balls?
We also have the sequel to Slaughtered Vomit Dolls Called Regorgitated Sacrifice and it is even more deranged and out there as Angela Abeerdeen is escorted to Hell. Soon after that will be the 3rd in the Vomit Gore Trilogy. Title is in the works so once it is announced, we will announce it!
Right after that is a soon to be underground cult classic called... Flexing with Monty for Jan 5th! You can view the trailer here
Flexing with Monty Monty (Trevor Goddard) is a bodybuilder. His gym is the very heart of his existence. He is aggressively male, outrageously narcissistic and a bigot. Sharing this strange world is Monty's cerebral and emotionally wounded younger brother, Bertin (Rudy Davis). One stormy day, the brothers' bizarre but settled lives are suddenly disrupted by the unexpected arrival of Lilith (Sally Kirkland), a Catholic nun collecting contributions for an unusual cause. Lilith's arrival is the catalyst required to generate a momentous change in Bertin's relationship with his brother: a change that results in the astonishing and gruesome downfall of the vainglorious Monty.
Flexing has been getting rave reviews from Hollywood insiders and Unearthed is very proud to get out hands on this one of a kind film. See what some Hollywood A-listers are saying about it.
"Wild and Sensual" Sean Penn
"Off the Wall Hilarious" Danny De Vito
"Outragously Funny... My Kind of Movie" Robert Downey Sr.
Some quick background on Flexing with Monty. Fourteen years in the making, writer/director John Albo's long-awaited film, FLEXING WITH MONTY, is finally ready to be unveiled to an eager and expectant audience.
A startling and unique personal vision, the film has already achieved cult status among the many people who were aware of its long and halting progress. Provocative in content and in style, the completed picture has been lauded by the likes of Sean Penn, Robert Downey Sr. and Danny De Vito as "exciting, sensual, and outrageously funny." Evolving over time and overcoming all obstacles, FLEXING WITH MONTY began shooting in 1994 and wasn't completed as a fully realized 35mm film until 2008. From its inception, the film took on a life of its own, re-inventing itself through many phases of filming and, in the process, growing into a truly original and daring motion picture.
The making of the film was fraught with problems, some of which seemed insurmountable. The death of one of the producers was followed by the death of the lead actor, Trevor Goddard (star of Mortal Kombat, the popular television series, JAG, and featured in Pirates of the Caribbean). The shoot was halted for long periods of time until additional financing could be raised to resume production. For all the problems FLEXING WITH MONTY encountered on its long and exciting journey to fruition, the film has grown in depth and in originality. Its mystique continues to flourish and now, at long last, Monty is ready to bare his "fleshy soul" to the world.
FLEXING WITH MONTY A John Albo Film Produced by Carlos Guerra Starring: Sally Kirkland, Trevor Goddard, Mitch Hara and Michelle Zeitlin Original Music by: Miriam Cutler Cinematography by: Thomas F. Howdy fans of gore, tons going on over here at Unearthed but when isn't it? Philosophy of a Knife has been doing phenomenal and it is the lead film at Sitges 08 for the Midnight E-xtreme section and will be up for best picture in that section. Looking forward to seeing how it does against more mainstream gore atrocities. Lets hope Andrey hits it on the head and wins best picture.
Dead Fury is doing great as more people find this little blood soaked animated gem that is a cross between Evil Dead 2 and The Hills Have Eyes. Frank Sudol came out punching and managed to kick a lot of viewers in the face with his gore soaked comedy that truly shows he's a one man show.
The Harakiri 3 disc box set, Boobs and Blood edition is slated for Oct 7th and is only limited to 1000 copies. So if you're sick enough to watch sexy Japanese girls commit seppuku in highly erotic fashion while their guts are pulled out of their quivering stomachs, then we have a treat for you. Supplies are extremely limited so you might want to grab these atrocities before they are all gone. We will not be doing a re-issue of these so first come, first served.
The Uncut version of Carmilla - The Lesbian Vampire with be released in Early November with tons of extras and the never before seen zombie massacre that was the highlight in the original directors version. More info coming in a week.
Also we have Two Front Teeth coming out in late November just in time for Christmas. Wait till you get a load of this crazy all in your face film that just makes you wonder, if Santa Clause was a vampire and he was being hunted by hot ninja nuns, how can you not see it? More info coming up, this is just a quick update to the news section.
Now into a series of films that got the underground swelling with pride. Lucifer Valentine's Slaughtered Vomit Dolls and ReGOREgitated Sacrifice with be getting the Unearthed treatment with superior extras never before seen on any of the underground versions that were currently available straight from Valentine himself. He's working on the 3rd in the vomit gore trilogy which we will also be releasing. We have to say, after watching these gore atrocities and trying to wrangle these from Valentine for years, we just managed to do it and I am a happy man. Vomit, gore and Satan, how could we resist? Stay tuned as more info gets announced on all of the Unearthed titles soon to be hitting shelves near you.

Russian Horror Director Andrey Iskanov Detained for 5 Days by FSB (formally known as the KGB)
On June 10th in Khabarovsk, Andrey Iskanov, director of the soon to be released film Philosophy of a Knife, was visited by the Russian Federal Security Service. According to Mr. Iskanov, he was questioned about the research he had conducted into the historical chemical and biological experiments that form the basis for the film, and the whereabouts of the documents and materials he had uncovered on the subject. Iskanov explained that many of the materials had been sent to the USA with the exception of those being utilized in his new film The Tourist. At the request of the security services, he surrendered what materials he had and the FSB left.
On the following day, the FSB returned to Mr. Iskanov's residence and proceeded to conduct a search of his property. They confiscated all film, video and computer materials, and Iskanov was arrested and taken to the local military base for questioning. While in detention, he was interrogated about the information he had acquired from Anatoly Protosov, a former military translator for the USSR, and his research into the Russian chemical and biological experiments that had been conducted in the area, as well as the American experiments that had taken place based on information culled from Unit 731 after the trials in Khabarrovsk. Iskanov explained that his research had led him only up to 1956 and no further, especially in regards to the Russian experiments.
He was detained for 5 days in the military base in a concrete cell without a bathroom and with very little to eat. After the FSB had examined all of his media and other materials, they had Iskanov sign a consent form for the search and seizure of his materials. He was given back some of his property after being released.
It is not unusual for independent filmmakers to be subjected to a certain amount of harassment, but this certainly seems to be an extreme case. Philosophy of a Knife is more than just a glance at a moment in history that most would rather forget; it is a graphic and detailed account of atrocities committed by government scientists and doctors on innocent civilians. It is because of the work of artists like Andrey Iskanov that such acts are not forgotten, however awful the truth may be.

Greetings Gore Hounds and Dead Women,
Time yet again for another Unearthed Films Newsletter 20! Lets see, where should I start? Yes, Hunting Creatures is hitting the shelves on March 11th and it's the 1st in our German Underground Splatter line of dvd's. Filled with gore, cheesy acting and underground death metal, this should give you a taste of what's in store for you from the deep recesses of Germany.
What's it about, an underground rave in an abandoned chemical plant unleashes a vile toxin that changes people into ravenous, flesh eating monsters. A small band of hitmen and scientists are on the hunt to kill em good.
Hunting Creatures is 72 Minutes and has a behind the scenes featurette, deleted scenes, photo gallery and trailers for upcoming Unearthed Titles.
Next up is Das komabrutelle Duell, an in your face slaughterfest that rivals Premutos and Braindead with outrageous gore and sumptuous geysers of blood! This is underground gore from Germany so expect crazed decapitations, disembowelment, chainsaw eviscerations and crazy glue brain surgery. Did I mention the squishing fetuses and eyeball gouging much less the total disregard for decency and moral values? Hell no! Das Komabrutelle Duell was banned in 2007 by the German Government. They actually raided the company that owned the film and actually took all of the elements and everything they had on the film. Needless to say, we were lucky to get the elements before this happened.
Das Komabrutelle Duell is set for April 1st and extra features will include, behind the scenes, digital effects comparison, outtakes, deleted scenes and of coarse… more trailers for future Unearthed Product.
Then we have Patrick Roddy's MERCY slated for May 6th and then Red Room 2 for June! I'll tell you more about these films as we get closer but your in for a treat!
I'm really excited to be releasing the underground German gore films. Cannibal was our first and those who saw it in it's very limited release was shocked and appalled by the brutality of it. Speaking of Cannibal, we will be giving it it's official release thru TLA Releasing. Probably in the summer so keep an eye out for it.
Speaking of TLA Releasing, they have been a wonderful company to work with. Their doing their very best to get our whole OOP inventory back out into the marketplace. Yeah, we have had more problems with distribution then any other company out there. I think you can tell when our titles are released then disappear and then reappear and then disappear again, off the shelves.
Well, for the 1st time in a long time, everything is available. Frankenhooker, Aftermath, Bonesickness, City of Rott, Ichi-1, Black Sun the Nanking Massacre, Rubber's Lover, Pinocchio 964, Boy Meets Girl, Rock and Rule, Evil Dead Trap 2, Frankenstein's Bloody Nightmare, Lethal Force, Nails and Visions of Suffering and Red Room. Red Room was a very limited release and as were all of our titles that came out in 2006 and early 2007 so if you wanted to see them, now they have the distribution they deserve thanks to TLA.
Now for some awesome news. As you all know, our 1st produced film is called Philosophy of a Knife and it's directed by Andrey Iskanov. We have all of the elements in our greedy little hands and we have kept this very close to our hearts. No longer, we are now into overdrive with it since it seems that we cannot get it into any film festival what-so-ever. Due to the horrific content and non stop violence of the film, it has been a fight but we will be finally releasing it in July. There will be two versions of the dvd. One will be the 4 hour long film with no extra's and a single dvd disc. The other version will be a limited edition of 5000 numbered copies and comes in a two disc set with all of the trimmings. Music video's, behind the scenes, deleted scenes and the whole shebang. It will also come with a different cover and some very nasty artwork. We are talking to retailers now about how far we can push the envelope with it. We will already be pushing the envelope with the film as I've had several people refuse to watch it after watching the trailer. DO NOT expect to see this dvd in too many retailers. If you do, grab it and run away like you just found the Holy Grail!
Yes, we are back into hard-core violent mode and with our 1st film, you can expect to be blown away. I've sent several screeners, actually just a handful to magazines and websites to watch and review so expect to see the reviews start to pop up on Philosophy of a Knife. I am dying to see how the reviews play out since it's 4 hours long and filled with some of the most brutal footage ever shown and I am not kidding around. You will have to have a very hard stomach to watch it and I am dying to see what happens when normal horror reviewers watch it. I mean, what would happen if Cannibal Holocaust, Nekromantic or Make Them Die Slowly was shot now with the animal deaths? How would it be perceived much less reviewed? There wasn't a single animal hurt or abused in Philosophy of a Knife., But humans. That's another question entirely. I'll let your mind wrap around that question for a moment.
I have a very limited amount of screeners for those in the press so contact us at unearthedfilms@aol.com to request a screener of the film. This is only for you big boys out there since we have a small amount and we will build the momentum as the months count down for the July release.
So that's it for now. I'll stay in touch more as new news comes across the embalming table.

What's up Gore hounds and Dead girls?
Lots over here so I figured I'd tell you about it since our back catalog is finally getting released again with our upcoming new films in between.
Ichi-1 and Black Sun The Nanking Massacre is back in the stores thanks to our new distributor TLA Releasing. They hit stores on Oct 30th and they are available at the low low price of $14.99 so it's a very good thing, yah! The fine folks who gave Tartan a big push in the US is handling our releases for us so expect to be able to get your hands on the goods from now on. We are no longer with Anthem Dvd as we parted ways during the summer.
Pinocchio 964 and Rubber's Lover are back in stores as well. After two years of being out of print, we just had to re-release these spastic Japanese induced visual feasts for the eyes. If you have neither, then we released it in a two pack called the Cyberpunk Collection 2 Pack, you get both films for the low retail price of $29.99. Cool things is, you will probably be able to get it for less but keep your eye out for it cause it's limited to 1000 units and then the 2 pack is gone forever.
Next up is This Hollow Sacrament by Director Greg Stechman and produced by Greg Stechman, Todd Gearou Street Date is Nov 27th so keep your eye out for it. Here's the synopsis if you haven't heard of it yet.
Based on true events, the story revolves around the murder of four young women in Northern California in the late 1990s and the subsequent criminal investigation. The film follows the story of a tortured ex-soldier, now police detective, as he and his partner attempt to track down a bizarre series of disappearances, and the brutal slaying of the young women. Director Greg Stechman is an original voice in the popular serial killer subgenre. In This Hollow Sacrament, his debut film, he drags you kicking and screaming into the depth of hell and doesn't let you up for air.
This Hollow is getting great reviews so far and have become a fan favorite. Has the feel of Henry Portrait of a Serial killer so definitely check it out.
Then in December, we have 2 more out of print dvd's of ours hitting the shelves again on December 11th. It's Rock & Rule and Evil Dead Trap 2. Evil Dead Trap will be at the low, low price of $9.99 and the 2 disc limited edition will be at $22.99. R&R is limited to only 2000 units, maybe less by the time this newsletter hits and once it is gone, then the single disc will be the only one available so prepare for it to go OOP.
Also on December 11th is the underground UK horror film FOOTSTEPS by Gareth Evans. A personal favorite of mine as a man goes into the snuff video underground to find his soul and ends up destroying it in the process. Here's the synopsis from the back of the dvd.
Andrew is in his early '20s; lost, his parents are dead and gone. He is left inconsolable. Afraid that those he loves, he loses, Andrew pushes all who care for him away until he is left alone. When a final bid to escape his nihilism brutally and tragically fails, he finds his life in a downward spiral as he becomes embroiled in the world of snuff movies. If he is to have any chance of redemption or salvation, he must walk down a path far darker than he ever dared fear and claw his way out.
Then we finally have the rest of our catalog coming out for January and February and I mean the rest and then it's back to one new movie a month from now on. Hunting Creatures is March, Das Komabruttelle in April, We are working on release dates for the rest of the films we have in our arsenal and we have picked up a bunch of new films that I will announce in the next week, probably right after Thanksgiving.
I'd like to thank you and everyone around who has ever bought an Unearthed Film and helped support the cause for true horror films. We have a lot on our plate but it finally seems that we are now back into full production which is an amazing thing.
Let the goresoaked nightmare truly begin!

Dear Gorehounds and Dead Women,
Hope all is well in your undead section of the world. It's quite sticky and maggot infested here at Unearthed Films Headquarters. I guess we kept too many dead bodies laying around for our own good. Anyway, looks like we have another film coming out, it's actually today of days. It's called Frankenstein's Bloody Nightmare and it's directed by John Hand. This crazed individual is the master of Pulsing Cinema and he has made a film that is close to his black encrusted heart.
What is it about you may ask? Well, here's the synopsis…
Brilliant young Victor Karlstein finds himself lost in an abyss of personal turmoil and professional stress after the woman he most likely seemed to love dies while under the care of his own mysterious medical facility. Determined to keep her alive, Victor uses his mechanically-enhanced reanimated corpse to murder young women in order to furnish "raw parts" for her new body, among other devious things.
A grainy echo of experimental and fantastic films of years past rendered in wild splashes of saturated super-8 cinematography, Frankensteins Bloody Nightmare is the debut feature from writer/producer/director John R. Hand.
This film is quite experimental and John has a knack for disturbing images and far out visuals. It maybe a little to far out for some of you but for those of you that love the throwback films of the 70's with a dash of David Lynch, then this is what you get.
On the fore front of our assault on your senses, we have This Hollow Sacrament from Greg Stechman, A reality based serial killer flick with real war footage taken from Iraq, Gareth Evan's Footsteps, A low down and gritty British film that takes you into the seedy underground of violent video photography, Carmilla, the Lesbian Vampire by Vince D"Amato. Originally released as Vampires VS Zombies but we have the uncut version of it. The Hari Kari Series all in Gorno-vision and the sequel to the gorebuster hit Red Room, RED ROOM 2. We have plenty more films like Mercy from Patrick Roddy which is now getting rave reviews around the web… more splatter from Germany and Japan that is almost to numerous to mention.
On the flip side, I have to tell you something. Come over here… get real close… closer… closer… It's done.
Philosophy of a Knife that is! It's finally finished; our 1st film and I do have to say. Holy Crap! We just finished watching it over at Rhett's house on his huge TV and my god! It's a sight to behold. I've seen a lot of films before and I have seen a lot of documentaries and I have never seen anything like this! It's a gorehounds wet dream of shock, gore and torture all while learning what a secret section of the Japanese Government was doing to learn about the secrets of what the human body can handle. Every single experiment is recreated and never before seen facts are disturbingly brought out to the forefront for everyone to see.
My jaw hit the floor on several of the gore scenes and this film will go down in history unlike any other gore film since it is the 1st of it's kind. I really couldn't believe what Andrey Iskanov did in Russia to come up with the special effects. It's amazing and runs 4 hours long. The documentary is split into two parts and I do have to say, Discovery Channel, eat your heart out! We will be showcasing this at film festivals around the world and see what the critics and other companies have to say about it.
Anyway, I have to get the rotten corpses out of the library to get ready to move. I think our headquarters is getting a little too hot and the smell is starting to get to the neighbors. Maybe I should set it on fire to conceal the evidence. That's a great idea so I'm off for some kerosene. Talk to you later.

Unearthed Films Newsletter #16
Greetings Gorehounds and Gals,
Well, the dvd's have been churning out onto the streets of the United States and I am happy to say, they have been flowing with blood ever since. Cannibal has been making quite the noise since it's release and I am happy to say, more reviews and fans have been coming out of the woodwork and stating that it is the grossest film they have ever seen!
That is, until they get to see the Red Room! We just released this baby and it is making it's way to you. If you haven't found a copy, which I do know, it's a little hard to find our product now a days. You can always pick it up from our website www.Unearthedfilms.com
We just dropped the prices on ALL of our library titles
The Red Room is a hard-core, in your face disgust-a-thon that should leave a bad taste in your mouth. If not, your now a part of the gore connoisseurs and I wish you luck, in finding horror films that make you squirm. I guess to be frank with you, if you get our newsletter and know who we are, you already a part of the elite. A member of the shock troops of the mind, your unrepentant gorehounds who must see and get your taste for blood without killing anyone. Congratulations! You have my heartfelt thanks in letting your demons out, in a controlled way. Otherwise, the murder toll in America would jump up over 300%
So let me give you the lowdown on the Red Room.
So, what would you do for a million dollars? Are you desperate enough to enter the RED ROOM? In this latest and most vicious game show to emerge from the Japanese underground, four contestants (two men and two women_ are locked in the Red Room to draw cards in the "King Game". Whichever player draws the King card gets to select one of the other contestants to enter a cage where one performs the most outrageous acts upon his unlucky victim.
The Game is played to the death! Survivor takes all, and the losers go home in body bags.
Yeah, I'm in a mood! So… A lot of our dvd's have been getting the thumbs up from the fans but the thumbs down from the retailers. I saw this coming as the major retailers put the mom pops out of business and now they are going for the more mainstream titles that they want to shove down your throat. Sort of sucks to be a gorehound now, everything is becoming available but without mainstream help, the cool gore product will slowly become harder to find. I guess it might be for the best if I can get a lot of you to buy directly from us.
Lethal Force is doing well, everyone who seen it, loves it so go down to Hollywood Video and rent it or steal it or buy it from somewhere. Frankenhooker is now becoming a bigger hit then it was when it was first released. Making a lot of Top Ten lists for 2006 and rave reviews over the dvd itself. Yeah, we did some work on it to say the least but we received some major help from Frank Hennenlotter, Patty Mullen, Gabe Bartalos, Jennifer Delora… Frank is busy working on his upcoming film, Bad Biology and I do have to say, it looks outrageous. Can't tell you anything about this, trade secrets you know.
Andrey Iskanov's Nails and Visions of Suffering is expanding the consciousness of those who witness the atrocity of his films. Find em and kill for them! Brian Paulin's Bonsickness is still rising up the charts into indie gore cult status and Frank Sudol's City of Rott is just plain fun!
On another note, Rock & Rule has now become a MAJOR cult phenom and copies of the two disc limited edition are selling for over 300 bucks. I guess a lot of people thought we bit the dust so copies aren't available anymore BUT THEY ARE! So find you one and stick it on ebay and make lots of cash. The same with Aftermath, Aftermath's OOP price is $50.00, it's not out of print but a lot of people think it is so pick this up before we get into Salo 120 days in Sodom pricing which was 800 bucks a shot.
John Hand's Frankenstein's Bloody Nightmare is almost ready and we are looking at an early April release. This strange giallo type is a throw back to the early 70's underground film making style where twisted visuals and odd perceptions with your horror was the norm and I am thrilled to release it. Then we are onto This Hallow Sacrament based on true events and shot by up and coming director Greg Stechman. Afterwards, we managed to get our hands on the lesbian vampire thriller Carmilla The Lesbian Vampire. This is the uncut version of course. We have to have all the blood and all the boobs intact to have a proper lesbian vampire flick. Working hard on Das Komabrutelle Duell, Hunting Creatures and Ostermontag. Trying to find good elements for Violent Shit but it doesn't look good. Will keep you informed on this.
I just got more of the dailies from Andrey for Philosophy of a Knife and I do have to say, your in for a treat. This will be our first film in conjuncture with Andrey and it's going to blow everyone away. I do have to say, it is THE HARSHEST FLM I HAVE EVER SEEN! So stay tuned, this will become an event when it's finally released. Hopefully, we can get it into the film festival circuit and blow some minds. If you run a festival or are connected in any way, send us an email. Also, we have many films that you can show so contact us and lets get the ball rolling to bring newbies into the fold. So that's about it, just wanted to give you a brief update on Unearthed and pimp our site once more. If your having a hard time finding our stuff, get right from the website. WWW.UNEARTHEDFILMS.COM

Hey Creepy Guys and Ghouls,
Figured it was about time to write you another Unearthed Films Newsletter since we seem to be kicking ass and taking names lately. Hope you all are doing well and staying blood soaked. 1st off, we have been doing well with our releases. City of Rott by Frank Sudol is doing well and getting a lot of press and fan praise. Frank appreciates it and if you haven..t seen City of Rott, pick it up! It..s a zombie filled, gore soaked film that should not be missed. 2nd off Brian Paulin..s Bone Sickness is doing great as well as more zombie fans find this blood soaked gem. We are getting a lot of emails from fans, thanking us for releasing it. Andrey Iskanov..s Nail..s and Visions of Suffering is starting to get a lot of internet chatter due to the heavy psychological and intense visuals in his films. I expect as more people see his films, he will get quite the cult following.
Now for the main news.. Frankenhooker comes out Oct 17th, which is tomorrow. It..s the uncut version with commentary, a making of featertte, an interview with Patty Mullen, another interview with Jennifer Delora and a behind the scenes poloroids/commentary with Jennifer and last but not least, commentary with Frank Hennenlotter and Gabe Bartalos. A wonderful disc that should be owned by every one.
Next up is the gore happy/comedy/action/kung fu flick Lethal Force. It..s slated for November 17th so when it comes out, find it, buy it and be happy! LOL
Cannibal is slated for a late December release and Red Room ..1 is for February for everyone that has been wondering when they will be released. Red Room ..2 will follow and then the rest of the films Mu Zan E, Girl School Hell and Kyoko VS Yuki!. Yes, you heard me right, more of the shock atrocity films from Japanese director Daisuke Yamanouchi. What till you see them all. This is what Unearthed Films is all about. We are the hardest hitting, in your face horror dvd company on this planet and we will kick you in the teeth cause it..s just plain fun.
We have been getting a lot of emails from fans lately, having a hard time finding our dvd..s. To be honest, the mainstream retailers have not been picking up a lot of indie product lately so sales are going mainly thru internet retailers. Remember, you can always buy them straight from us and if you get this newsletter, take 30% off any dvd you buy from us and write (Steve..s Discount) somewhere on the order form and your good to go. Remember to always try to support us indie labels. Without us, the horror genre just wouldn..t be the same
We picked up a couple of more film recently that fit the Unearthed Label like a glove. 1st off is the Japanese erotic, gore soaked atrocity Killer Pussy. Yes, you heard me right, Killer Pussy and I know you all want a piece of that. LOL We might have to change the name or do a flip cover for it since retailers might have a field day. Will keep you informed on what we do with the title. 2nd up is the famous Hari Kari series from Japan. If any of you hard-core gore mongers know, it..s the series where women commit sepeku in an orgasmic fashion. Yes, this stuff is sick but what do you expect from Unearthed? Ha ha!
We also picked up the psychedelic mind trip film from John Hand called Frankensteins Bloody Nightmare.
Following this is This Hollow Sacrement by Director Greg Stechman Based on true events, the story revolves around the murder and subsequent investigation of four women in Northern California in the late 1990's. Hollow gives Henry: Potrait of a Serial Killer a run for it..s money. Convincingly dark and harrowing, this film should give everyone the creeps with plenty of blood and gore, a great story and everything else you have come to love from Unearthed.
So that..s about it for now. Hope this appeases your need for gore and info. Thanks for the support and keep it bloody!

Unearthed Films Newsletter .. 13
Greetings Gore Hounds and Dead Girls,
Its time again for another installment of the Unearthed Films Newsletter! We have good news! After a year of screwing around with our old distributor, we have found a new home. The company is called Anthem Pictures and we are working closely with them for the release of the whole Unearthed Catalog. This will include the re-release of all our older titles and yes, at long last, our new films will finally start coming your way. Anthem DVD is a great company and u can find them at www.anthemdvd.com
Here is the low down on our new releases. CITY OF ROTT, the extended version, made exclusively for Unearthed Films will be coming out on August 8th. Filled with tons of extras and one of the most beautiful conversions I have ever seen. This animated gore-fest will blow you away. Made by Frank Sudol who worked on the South Park films, you can guess what youre in store for.
Next up is Andrey Iskanovs Russian horror film NAILS. This is Andreys first film, a kaleidoscope of gore, surrealism and whacked-out philosophy that literally hits the nail on the head. This is the first film in our upcoming Russian Horror Collection. Release date for NAILS is August 15th.
Next up is Brian Paulins BONE SICKNESS. This is another in an exclusive line of films that have additional gore-filled scenes made exclusively for us. This over the top, zombie gut-muncher is loaded with gore, boobs, decaying zombies and just plain old sticky sickness. Filled with tons of extras. Release date for this monstrosity is Aug 28th. And yes, if you have seen the original, the Sickness just got sicker!
So, thats three new DVDs for the month of August. Next up for September is VISIONS OF SUFFERING, Andrey Iskanovs second feature film containing an extra 40 minutes worth of added gore and computer effects made exclusively for Unearthed Films. Talk about Directors Cuts! This surrealistic splatter film would have Cronenberg and Lynch jealously wishing they had made it! Seriously, Andrey is such a fantastic director that we are in the middle of producing more films with him. More later about this! Release date for VISIONS OF SUFFERING is not yet set in stone BUT it will be in September and we will let you know in a week or two.
FRANKENHOOKER is set for you guessed it, October, just in time for Halloween. This is the uncut directors version. Tons of extras, like u have come to know and love from us including a commentary by Frank Hennenlotter and Gabe Bartalos, a 19 minute featurette called A Stitch In Time with behind the scenes footage and starring Gabe and the rest of the crew of Frankenhooker. A crazed Jennifer Delora Interview and a sneak peek in her scrap book and last but not least, an interview with Penthouse Playmate of the Year and Frankenhooker star, Patty Mullen!
Then for November, its LETHAL FORCE! An outrageous mix of kung fu, comedy and gore with a 70s atmosphere and a John Woo directorial feel about it. Sort of hard to explain but its got the goods and Im sticking to my story. LOL Loaded with extras including a commentary, short films, extensive photo gallery and more
For December, we are hoping to have ready the first in our series of German Gore Films. First up will be the new and outrageous CANNIBAL (based on the true story of the crazed guy in Germany who advertised on the internet for a victim to eat, an ad that was answered and a victim duly eaten). This film has been banned in Germany. We will follow up with the infamous DAS KOMABRUTTELLE and HUNTING CREATURES, to be quickly followed by a slate of new and known German-made splatter and gore. We are looking at releasing at least one DVD a month from now on. I know a lot of you have complained about not getting a steady flow of sickness from us and its been mostly due to troubles with our old distributor but, with Anthem, we are hoping to get into a nice groove and never looking back.
Now onto some of the other new films we have picked up for you. In the spirit of the RED ROOM films, we have also acquired MU ZAN E, GIRLSCHOOL HELL and KYOKO VS YUKI from Japan. These vile films from the Tokyo underground should give you a good kick in the teeth. You can find the trailer for MU ZAN E and RED ROOM on our DVD of FLOWER OF FLESH AND BLOOD. Its in the making of chapters on the Making of The Guinea Pig Films disc. If u find em, check em out!
We have been busy little cadavers over here and have almost finished producing our new film in Russia with Director Andrey Iskanov, PHILOSOPHY OF A KNIFE. Yes, Unearthed Films has now moved into production mode and, if you think we have dished up the gore to date, wait until you see what we have in store for you here. In fact, we have a trailer cut for PHILOSOPHY and its now on Uneartheds MySpace site. Go to www.myspace.com/unearthedfilms and check it out.
PHILOSOPHY OF A KNIFE is based on the Japanese chemical and biological experiments of the infamous Unit 731. We tracked down an actual survivor of the atrocities for added realism. This film is balls-to-the-wall and is destined to become one of the all time great cult-gore films; a film that will be heralded as a masterpiece of atrocity. Im serious, two people ended up badly hurt in the hospital while making this film. The gore sets and scenes or so over the top that I even had to yell at Andrey for going overboard. And thats a first for me!
Next up from Andrey Iskanov and Unearthed Films is ANGEL DUST. The story is in development and we will be working closely with Andrey to make yet another Siberian gem, an atrocity with teeth that will take a bloody chunk out of the soul of the viewer. Will tell you more on this as development proceeds.
Brian Paulin is now in the editing stages of FETUS. This is another film we have helped produce with Brian and it looks like its going to be very rough. The story of a man whose wife dies during childbirth and who slowly begins to lose his mind as he tries to find a way to contact his dead spouse. He murders the doctors that were involved in his wifes death and tries to resurrect her using the dead body parts of all who were involved. The demonic forces released by his insanity proceed to rip and tear everyone apart Brian Paulin-style. This film crosses way over the line and if u think BONESICKNESS had a lot going for it, wait until you see this film!
We will also be producing Brian Paulins BONE SICKNESS 2. We are working on the script as we speak and finalizing special effects and zombie prosthetics to make it even more disgusting then the original Bone Sickness.
I am so thrilled about all of these releases. Most of them are brand new or exclusive directors cuts that have never been seen before. If you own any of the Unearthed Films Library, you know what your in store for. So be prepared be forewarned Unearthed is coming back with a vengeance!

Just finished going over the Bone Sickness dvd and I do have to say, Holy Shit! Director Brian Paulin comes thriu for Unearthed by adding a whole Hell of a lot of new gore scenes for the new cut of the film that made me spill my beer and cheer for joy. I think the madman added like 12 to 15 new scenes, I couldn't keep count since this was the last version of the film I saw and the beer and shots of tequila were flowing as free as the wind.
It's about time, someone in the indie circuit came thru on such a gore-tastic, splatteriffic, in your face with the goods that will make the zombie gods smile on us and nod their heads in appreciation. Just went over the whole dvd and we are finishing the artwork which we will post on the site, this week.
Nails and Visions of Suffering are done as well, dvd artwork is being finalized and man, do I have to say, Andrey Iskanov is the splatter god out of Russia. You know what Unearthed is all about, so wait until u see these films out of Russia. The Russian wave of horror films will hit, right when Nightwatch comes out on dvd so be prepared for a Russian onslaught of bloodtastic proportions. Visions is a masterpiece of psychedelic gore that changes the whole outlook on film and indie cinema.
Andrey is just finishing up on a new film that was produced Unearthed Films called Philosophy of a Knife. Yeah, we are entering into the production phase of Unearthed. Wait until you see this film. I'm serious, it's based on the true story of Unit 731. It wasn't just Chinese people who were slaughtered, it was also, Russian people and anyone else they could get their hands on for experimentation. we actually found a living survivor who told us the facts of what they experienced and what they saw in the camp and I do have to say, we pulled no punches and pulled out the bugs for this one. So this will be part documentary and part recreation of the facts and man, I had to yell at Andrey several times during the shooting of our film cause he was making it too intense, to nasty and too vile. Imagine, me having to say that. You know it's got the goods!
Expect Philosophy of a Knife to rank up there with Men Behind the Sun, Cannibal Holocaust, Nekromantic and Aftermath. I'm serious folks, we are not messing around when it comes to our own films. We had to take several people to the hospital while filming so it's got to be good. LOL I want to tell you more but I can't, editing is in it's final stages and I will get a finished version soon.
Frankenhooker extra's are finally done and the dvd is now in it's final stages so rejoice and be happy! Frankenhooker will be unleashed on the unsuspecting populace soon. We hope you enjoy the dvd, we were smoking super crack while putting it together and there is a Hell of a lot of after burn after each hit.
Lethal Force is almost finalized as well, just got the artwork and it is sweet, going on my wall next to the Aftermath painting. Yeah, I get to keep the artwork, gotta make a Bone Sickness poster to splash on my wall as well. Artwork is too sweet not too.
Watching a lot of viscious films lately, looks like we will be picking up a couple everyone has been asking us for, can't tell u what it is, yet but I will soon.
Lots going on in the industry, too much to talk about.
Anyway, that's enough for now. Hope your all doing well and up to your armpits in blood and guts.
