Someone Pinch Me..Is This Real?
I can't believe this administration is now threatening Congress to pass legislation on the climate-change, hard science-deficient, exaggerated farce.. acting like it has to be done immediately, like it is an emergency. This new Co2 threat is an immediate threat to all humanity?...Right..Give me a break! It's just another vehicle to collapse the system. Using blackmail..ish language etc, "Command-Control" type of regulation if they don't by the EPA...they're pushing Congress to act foolishly and hastily.. knowing we are in the midst of a deep recession and full well the probable consequences for our already struggling economy. Seems to me those in Washington just want "action", without regard to consequences...etc, get the health-care reform bill passed, regardless of what's in it...just get the President to sign it and they will call it a Victory! How far are we willing to fall?

I respect the Office of the President and want to believe those we put up there to represent our voices, have our Country and We the People's best interest's at heart.. but given the evidence, in good conscience, I can't. I believe, like our Founding Fathers, it is the duty of a true patriot to question your government.. and I am.

So I am asking why the leader of the greatest country in the modern world, tells the American people he wants to help this failing economy and aid small business..who says he believes in "social-justice".. says we have to stop all of this out-of-control spending.. but works as fast as he can to diminish the value of our dollar...spending us into oblivion...doing the exact opposite of what logic would dictate, in every policy that crosses his path and keeps using and abusing what he has at his disposal to trample on our freedoms that the Constitution gave us from the beginning of this grand experiment we call The United States of America.

Is he Schizophrenic...Don't think so....Naive...Don't kid yourself... Crazy like a Fox...Probably. Are they building something behind the scenes..waiting to put in place a different "America" we won't recognize once it's plugged in..while we've been sleeping? Yep..Prepare..Be Ready_

I agree that greedy insurance companies have raped us..denied, delayed and rationed health care..no argument there from me..I'm sick and tired of the greedy bastards..and the rising costs.. but..I have looked at single-payer systems in other countries.. I have some friends in Canada and also have performed up there extensively and know how that is turning out for them..not well.. It started out fine..I remember when they were raving about how great it was..at first..then it went to Hell..always does..crazy delays, denial of care, rationing..no other options to turn to.. a nightmare.. Competition and free market always works better..with reform and some regulation..of course..to make sure the un-insured have a way to obtain affordable insurance and not be left out because of pre-existing conditions.. We Do need health-care reform.. but I do not want this government, which has proven, time after time, NOT to be able to run ANYTHING efficently..running health-care into the ground, like everything else they have gotten their hands into..plus.. before too long..there will be no option..just the government plan..and you and I will be taxed or worse if we don't take it..to me..that's too much government control over my individual rights..and strangely enough..that doesn't sound American. Something this precious needs to have serious time and consideration behind it..Health-Care isn't something you rush into..plus , it's such a large part of our economy..and our economy is in serious trouble_ With a government-run system..there will also be delays, denied care and rationing..costs will still continue to rise..don't be fooled..it is another attempt for Government to Control..Do you really think those weasels up there care about our health?? Do you really think we will be the first country in history to actually make this work? Anyway..that's how I feel..I hope I'm wrong...Isn't it great to have a forum where we can speak our minds and live in a country where we can disagree with each other..at least for a little while longer. Billy Ryan, an extra act presented by Shenandoah on Friday night, sang songs from the heart. Shenandoah's Jimmy Yeary is at left rear.

True to their drummer's declaration weeks before the show, Shenandoah supported new singer/songwriters during Goats Music and More on Friday night when the country musicians remembered a traveling musician who didn't get home.
Compared to Shenandoah's longevity, Billy Ryan is a relative newcomer who could be seen as a Shenandoah protégé. Still, he's co-written "You Never Know" with the band's drummer Mike McGuire and guitarist/lead singer Jimmy Yeary to remember Ralph Ezell who died about two years ago.
A Shenandoah spokesman introduced Ryan as an extra performer for the evening.
"He kissed his wife at Gate No. 5," Ryan says of lyrics about the day Ezell began his last journey.
Bassist Ezell, 54, a founding member of Shenandoah, died Nov. 30, 2007, of a heart attack while on tour in Pickstown, N.D.
The loss of a friend, fellow musician and "really cool guy," prompted the song. Ryan said. "You Never Know" has been recorded by Darryl Worley who's known for the songs "Have You Forgotten?" "Feels Like Work," and "I Miss My Friend."
Heartfelt lyrics and tunes are a staple of country music and the shooting death of Ryan's sister, which he witnessed, is the subject of another song he's written and the inspiration of a foundation to raise awareness of domestic violence.
As serious as the music may be, the country musicians were as ready for fun as anyone at the festival where City Manager Eddie Fuller pushed a broom-sized squeegee to remove water from the concrete floor of the Farmers Market. Forecasters' promise of rain persuaded city crews to build a stage for the market and protect it with plastic sheeting.
MOIST AIR
The rainy weather "affects the air density," Shenandoah's keyboard player Stan Munseysaid. Drummer Mike McGuire said thick air affects sound, and audio engineer Bart Borlettano explained "sound tracks different" through humidity, but "I know what's going to happen" so he could adjust the sound system for it.
Rain with wind led Fuller to develop "Plan C" in case the Farmers Market venue proved unworkable. That plan was to move the show to a gymnasium in the city's recreation center just off West Commerce Street.
The market place was declared better by McGuire because the sound "is not going to be bouncing off the walls."
Group dynamics emerged from Shenandoah when the keyboard man's T-shirt was noticed. It says, "Not with the band." Munsey, who agreed that his dark glasses and squirrelly demeanor were copied by David Letterman's sidekick, Paul Shaffer, and that his T-shirts might be clairvoyant.
Borlettano said Munsey's shirt said "rain" that morning. Nevertheless, Munsey's "Not with..." shirt wasn't as accurate since the band took him to Butler, Ala., for its next gig on Saturday.
Here on Friday night, Shenandoah's loyal fans included Linda Fitzgerald, 66, of Columbia who explained her preference: "'cause they're country."
Founded in 1985, the group's No. 1 hits include "The Church on Cumberland Road," "I Wanna Be Loved Like That," "Two Dozen Roses," and "Mama Knows."
BAND CONTEST
As for the Battle of the Bands, TyteRope was the winner. The group from Chapel Hill beat Nickajack, the band that won in the first round of competition on Aug. 15.
TyteRope outplayed Uncle Tom of Shelbyville on Thursday night. Nickajack was selectedThursday night over Chip Willmore.
"It's a really great opportunity here," TyteRope member Trey England of Chapel Hill said. "We played here (at Goats Music and More) last year on the small stage."
Lead singer Ronnie Ashworth whipped up the crowd of some 750 Friday night by singing throughout the Farmers Market through a cordless microphone, a device that was apparently effective for showmanship points.
Judges were provided forms to score bands on various aspects of their performance.Showmanship and music quality were among the standards to be considered. The judges for the final showdown were: Drew Belk, a utility man for the band "SheDaisy;" Monte Mertz, operations manager for Autom Church Supply, a new business in Lewisburg; and local resident Elizabeth McClure.
"It's been a great experience," Tyterope's Dustin Perryman said.

First of all, why in God's name is she the WH Communications director??
She said in a speech while talking to high school students, that her two favorite philosophers were Mao Tse Tung and Mother Teresa..

How insane is that?  How can you respect Christianity and Atheism at the same time?

First of all, what do the values and thoughts of a communist, atheist dictator who was responsible for millions of deaths, have to do with the values and philosophies of a Christian icon like Mother Teresa ??
What does light have in common with darkness..evil with goodness, truth with lies? How can she respect the two oppoite extremes..what is there to like about a dictator who does not respect humanity..

It bothers me so many surrounding our new leader respect and value the opinions of communists/Marxists/socialists.. like Chavez, Castro and Mao..

I wonder how many so-called "Americans" that claim to love America feel the same way..and respect these murdering meglamaniacs...

People, are these the folks we want in the White House..really?

Gotta wonder why this country's leader has chosen to surround himself with people with these dangerous mindsets..

Don't think about the answer too long...

Quote from Marcus Tullius Cicero 42 B.C (about the enemy within)
"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor ? he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear."

-Marcus Tullius Cicero 42 B.C

I promised to make up a new conspiracy theory each week..here it is, fresh from my smokin' cerebral-cortex_ The government pushes hard for swine flu vaccines for everyone at risk but also releases, undercover..negative reports about bad side effects from the vaccine..hoping to scare many, maybe most into not getting it...consider the possibilities of why they might want to do that.. *(Not to be taken seriously)

If we try and look at what's going on through normal logic..we'll never see it..this is all bigger than Washington, bigger than the President, bigger than the Congressmen and more insidious than the Media..it has evil and global written all over it and we have been marching towards it for a long time..let those who have understanding..see the signs of the times...wow..did I just say that?

While we have been fighting each other and while we have been sleeping..they have been building something...right before our eyes...

What's it gonna look like when they plug it in?

Let those who have eyes, see and those who have ears..hear_
