hey,
we have been very busy this summer and have had very little time to practice and play shows, BUT we do have new song demos recorded and we will look to re record them as soon as we have time. also, we have gotten rid of all our releases besides lock the door. it is now available through whales and gravy recordings at whalesandgravy.bandcamp.com. we have put lock the door up on our myspace and though we took our demos down we STILL are a full band and are STILL playing and STILL can do shows.

Well, we decided to put up Lock the Door for free like the rest of our stuff. You can download it here http://americanartmusic.com/Discography.htm..........It's a concept? I'm not sure, but it's only ten minutes long so you have nothing to lose listening to it. So pleaseeeee listen to it and let us know what you think. We would really really really appreciate it.
Thanks American Art

Hello
Well as you may have noticed, we've got some new members! They are Dave and Evan and because we can now start playing lots of shows. We will start booking very soon, so if you need a house show or know of any places we can play, let us know. We put up some new demo tracks we recorded a week ago. 'My Insides, Our Bodies' is from an EP we recorded one day when we woke up. It's a short four song EP with quieter songs like 'My Insides, Our Bodies'. We're not sure what to do with it yet, if you ask nicely maybe you can have it.
So please come to our shows and say hello. We're looking forward to seeing you.
Salutations

Hello Intraweb
We are pleased to announce an update to our band. There has been a lot of uncertainty over the past few months, band member changes, sounds changes and name changes. However, we are still making music and still have the same goals as we did from the beginning, only we are trying to achieve them in a different way.
So during the past month Mike and I have been working on a 'little album' (between an EP and LP). It is hopefully more representative of what we want to be as a band, so you can be more sure of our 'sound'. Since we've changed drummers quite a few times lately, there are no drums featured on this album, we hope this doesn't disappoint anybody too badly.
This album is called 'Mad English, Deep Space' and features five new songs (and some things in-between) three of which are available for listening right now on our myspace. This album will be made available as a whole shortly.
Right now, we are starting over by rehearsing and working on getting a solid set down. Then hopefully we will begin to play some local shows, and who knows where we will go from there.
Thanks for listening
Aidan (American Art)
