We have a lot of great stories slated to be published in our September/fall issue! We'll be running interviews with Bad Religion and Anti-Flag, perhaps the biggest bands this zine has yet to cover!

We'll also be running a story profiling the DIY arts scene in Philly, a feature story on local band Tigers Jaw, and much more, including new album reviews and new columns. We're also going to run a story on Organizing for America, which has been pushing hard for a healthcare bill. We wanted to feature this activist organization because as you've probably seen on the news, this topic has dominated headlines and has caused uproars at town hall meetings across the county. This issue just may define the Obama Administration's first term for better or worse, depending on what happens in the next few months.

So, we're getting ready to roll out a new full-length issue for July that we're stoked about.

Our feature story will be on Off With Their Heads, one of the catchiest, grittiest blue collar punk bands currently on No Idea Records.

We're also going to be running a story on the local band So Long, Pluto, a slew of new articles by our columnists and album reviews. The local branch of Food Not Bombs will also be highlighted, as we try to commit to running one activist-oriented article per issue. We're also bringing back the artist profile beat and making it a regular feature every full-length issue.

Cheers!

We posted four new stories for our June mini-issue.

Check out our feature story on Asian Man Records' The Hot Toddies, a new indie media review, another summer movie preview and a story on Ladyfest, a national festival celebrating music and art that will be coming to northeastern, PA in July.

So, we have another mini-issue planned. For June, we're going to be posting a story about The Hot Toddies, currently signed to Asian Man Records. The all-female quartet from Oakland is really rad. They mix indie rock with bubblegum pop and salacious lyrics about being horny. No joke!

We'll also be posting a new indie media review and a new summer movie preview story that focuses on films coming out during the second half of the summer.

We'll be doing some Myspace posts and various blurbs once these new stories are online.

Enjoy the holiday weekend.

Cheers!

We also just posted a review of the EP by our friends in the Menzingers. I think we may be the first publication to actually review this.
