I arrived at the Glass House, only to be confronted by an enormous crowd of 400 fans who didn’t manage to get tickets for this sold out show. A riot seemed inevitable! People were selling tickets for $80 outside! Justin and I did some extreme flyering and charitable giveaways to the fans who didn’t manage to get inside the venue. The show opened up with a band from the United Kingdom by the name of Architects. They never fail to bring an incredible live show with more energy flying off the stage than the same Atom bomb that tore apart Heroshima in Japan! After there set it was time to deliver the Bring Me The Horizon boys the DiNGS they ordered. I managed to fight my way through the crowd of fans outside the Bring Me The Horizon tour bus, who were just waiting to catch a glimpse of vocalist Oliver Sykes who was hiding out away from the mob of hungry girls. We snapped up some awesome photos of the BMTH boys using there new Blink 182 dings, which of course they loved! If you haven’t had the opportunity to hangout with this band, you’re missing out! They’re mad friendly, constantly up for good times and a party and are in general a great bunch of guys! BMTH also has their own line of DiNGS also available here. I believe because of the DiNGS that we delivered, we were at least partially responsible for the incredible live show BMTH put on. I’ve never seen a crowd so pumped and desperate to do gang vocals. Bodies were literally flying from the pit and crowd surfing to the front for a chance to grab the microphone from vocalist Oliver Sykes. The only thing that could make this night better was a 45minute set from Every Time I Die. This band is sending the artwork for there new album, ‘the new junk aesthetic’ for us to ding! If you haven’t listened to this album, YOU SHOULD! It’s one of my top buys of 2009 and the artwork is awesome, so keep an eye out for the DiNGS with that on in the not to distant future! They polished the night off with a mass stage invasion, bringing literally 60 people from the crowd on to the stage to sing and dive with them! It was crazy!
