FOR THE NON-VOTERS!!! REAAAAAAAD!!

This election is one of the most crucial campaigns of our generation.  With so many issues we are facing in our country it's so important to pick the right candidate who will actually deliver what he's promised. 

I have been asking people for quite some time if they're going to vote.  Most have said yes, some no. When asked why they weren't, some answered their not registered or that we have no real say in who we vote for.

Okay, yeah, that is somewhat true; every state has a number of members to elect the presidential candidate. Some states have 3 electoral votes, others have up to 55.  This number represents each member in the House of Reps in that state plus 1 for each of the two members in the Senate.  So Cali, which has 55 electoral votes, has 53 + 2.  Now, guess how these electoral members vote for the candidate? Through popular vote..and that's us! We vote and basically tell them yo…I'm voting for this dude so vote for him okay? The majority votes in that state win the electoral vote, then the candidate with most electoral votes is the Presidente.

Yes, there have been times in history where this has not played according to this game plan, but some states prohibit it and that fact alone shouldn't give you the excuse of not voting.  Nothing is perfect in life. I've never pushed for an issue like this in my life.  There are many injustices in our world, but simply saying you have no control over it is you really saying you don't care or you're okay with being a quitter and giving YOUR right to someone else.

In my opinion, if you're giving up your RIGHT and not voting then you should have no say on many different issues.  Yeah, it sounds dramatic but think about the principle of having a voice for what you think matters.  If you don't want to voice and vote, then I don't ever want to hear you complaining about your job, your healthcare provider, oil and energy prices or how the president sucks.  You made your choice then, so deal with it now!
