Filmmakers from Northanger Film Productions asked to use Twizzle in their Indie Dark Comedy film entitled Zorg and Andy. Why we said yes, after watching their footage!

Mildred and I are putting the finishing touches on our version of "The Lost Continent" which, as far as I can discern, only appears in the 1968, campy, sci fi film with the same title. I heard it about 5 years ago and since that moment, I've dreamed of doing a cover. WARNING: there are two old movies called "The Lost Continent," but the one of which I speak not the awful 1951 version. Apparently, the version I love was banned in Finland?!! (Finland here I come to spread the word...).

Mixed and happy with They're In Love. Originally we thought all the songs would have an apostrophe' in them but then it became too contrived, for'cing apo'strophes eve'rywhere. So we're only using them as appropriate: M'kenzie, Z'etoile,  They're in Love, Do'angeddup.

We're looking forward to seeing our artist friend's cover designs and text treatment for the CD.

Ja, Trnd www.trnd.com is using Twizzle for an mp3 music sampler: "Soon, we will be releasing a mp3 sampler named trnd tunes 1.0, which will be made ready for download to our community via the trnd website. We will also be blogging about this, and expect to create a good buzz in Germany, Austria and Switzerland." Neat.

Part A of They're in Love is dark sounding and also bitter in the lyrics. There's an unsettling howl of wind underneath the vampirish bass line. Over the weekend I picked up my acoustic and wrote a B part and it enters with a sparkling swell and flush of chorused guitar. Tripled the tracks in the cheap microphone that Mildred prefers for my voice and when I sing this part, my vision goes unfocused and I'm transported to a forested park by a stream. I'm on a blanket and we're looking up at the sky and the trees are blowing and bowing in the summer wind. "..But it's emerald laughter...that you're after, Now, you see. In grass and leaves"

Oh praise to Myspace for now there is access to such lovely amateur talents. In other words, musicians without fancy promoters, makeup artists, legalese, silly clothes. Only raw and interesting music from the heart. Recently listening to: Muarena Helena, Mikael Fyrek, DJ Komprehend, Eau Claire...so many more. Words alone cannot express my thrill at hearing these interesting creative musicians.

Hello Greenburgs, Twizzle, and CS Staff, Just in case you folks forget now and then how Comfort Stand effects people's lives... Spent the day yesterday with a single mom pal and her 8 year old, Isabella. They surprised me by singing lots of Comfort Stand songs. The whole time they sang songs from the Greenburg kids, R. Stevie Moore, Twizzle, the space comp, and their other favorites. Cannot express the joy of howling along together with such joy! We stayed up very late laughing and dancing all thanks to wonderful you! Georgia and August, Isabella separated out all the orange M&Ms to mail to you, but we decided that they might get sort of messy in the mail. Yummy, yummy, yummy!
