To mark the launch of Sheffield's Razor Stiletto Records, Darlings Of The Splitscreen have birthed an explosion of spiky, disco-imbued, electro terrorism. Lumping themselves steadfastly within their own self-created genre of 'So Yo Electro', 'Hiroshima' is anything but submissive to catagorisation. Like Hot Chip without th irony, this track cannon-balls its way into the ether in a swathe of synth-wrapped, electro-eclecticism before finally detonating in a potent cloud on hands-in-the-air incendiary rubble. It is perhaps fitting then that B-side, 'Turn Around', offers a more subdued aftermath to the pulsating assault offered by 'Hiroshima'.
