Brian here,
So there is big news afoot, we are actually going to be switching our blogging over to a site called ChicagoNow, where we'll continue to chronicle our crazy journey. More info on that tomorrow though.
For now, I present to you evidence of two things:
1- we read everything you send us. Sometimes it makes us laugh, sometimes cry, and sometimes it just makes us glad to be alive in the same world as other clever nerdy people :)
2- IFD Fans are empirically superior to all other humans.
And now, in full, I give you an email I received today from a new fan who had just signed up for the email list:
Hello Dragon Fighter person!
Thank you for the music. I found you on youtube yesterday and have
found myself enjoying your music immensely.
I greatly appreciate the digital copy, but I also would be interested
in purchasing an actual copy of your album, in the "circular
reflective disc that comes in a handy plastic case with a booklet and
whatnot" format; however, when I click the link on your myspace which
takes me to "Reckless Records", I am greeted warmly and kindly with
the message 'Sorry, we were unable to find anything using the term "i
fight dragons'." This has caused me to wonder if, perhaps, the
dragons may have already been fought and I should search recklessly
for records under a different name or something.
Alternatively, if the internets are fail (which they usually are in my
experience) I wouldn't be opposed to sending a green piece of paper
(or two) with a drawing of a deceased American president to a mailing
address of your choosing. I've often found these papers useful for
exchanging for goods or services, especially when not dealing with the
internets (which are usually fail in my experience).
Alternatively alternatively, I have a half-empty bottle of Elmer's
Glue I could send; however, I have not often found half-empty bottles
of Elmer's Glue as useful as the aforementioned green pieces of paper
when it comes to bartering. If, by some chance, you actually need a
half-empty bottle of Elmer's Glue, then we could perhaps make an
arrangement of that nature.
I am going to stop writing now, as I feel that I may be rambling a bit
at this point. I assure you, I am neither crazy nor on drugs, though,
in my experience, crazy drug-abusers typically make those claims as
well, so I suppose I can't be taken at my word. At any rate, you're
probably laughing at this email or wishing it would just end already,
so in fear of the latter, I shall stop writing.... NOW.
Best Regards,
A Random semi-Unemployed Person from the Internets (which are usually
fail in my experience)
PS - Thanks again for making music.
Obviously, IFD Fans = The Coolest
Q.E.D.
-Brian

K. Let's do a game challenge. You only have 2 minutes to spend on each game, post your high scores below. (And I mean only 2 minutes here people, that's why my scores suck on some of these.) Hopefully you will all school me. First Game: Death DiceHigh Score: 1355 Second Game: Heli AssaultHigh Score: 1300 Third Game: Copter GameHigh Score: 650 (I know this is pathetic, even tho it's courtesy of IFD intern extraordinaire Andrew) Fourth Game: Sock And AweHigh Score: 12 (but of most interesting note, people have hit Bush in the face 96,331,176 times. awesome.) Five Game: Sewer Slide FuryHigh Score: 2884 (this was my favorite of all the games) K. Post yer scores below people. Best of luck. - Bill

Here is another fun vid for you to check out. I saw this posted today on www.collegehumor.com but could only find an embedded link on You Tube, which I wanted for your viewing convenience. After watching this, I just want you to know that the “Hari song” you’ve been waiting for might be a while J HR

Hey all! Brian here, just wanted to drop a quick note to say if you're bumming around the city today and love Zombies (and who doesn't?), you should drop by the Comic Vault for Zombie-Con! (1530 West Montrose, Chicago IL 60613) Laura and myself will be guests on Zombie Chef LIVE!(ish), which if you haven't seen it is essentially a live version of Long Pork Comedy's Zombie Chef! Which you should watch anyway cuz it's Zombie Chef.
I may or may not get eaten by Zombie Chef. Laura may or may not eat cookies. And the results may or may not end up on YouTube :) Til soon! -Brian
