Hope you're all well, this time of year is nuts, as we all know. Maybe I'll see some of my East Coast folks in January - I'll be in town for New Years. Things for me are still busy until Dec. 22nd, then it'll thin out a bit. Good luck and warm wishes for the year end wrap ups.

Current mood: good
Made the drive down on Sunday morning, and wth was that random parade going on in the morning? There was a crazy detour just to get from 1st street to the 80. SUCK, really, it was bad. So, go figure. Anyway, I made it back just fine without much traffic going down. I even got a chance to stop and take some pics of the landscape, which was beautiful, and will serve as a reference for some concept art. YaY. I unpacked on Monday and I am surprised to say, it all pretty much fits in my closet. Today I do some inventory and budget looking at. Then its time management to the max. hu-ha! All the traveling coming up is going to rock the boat. Time to install safe-guards.

Current mood: sympathetic
I know, it's OK. Settle yourself down and I'll tell you a nice little story.
Once upon a time, in a land far far away from Virginia, called Los Angeles, traveled a young lady named Elizabeth. But the young lady was never actually called "Elizabeth". She was called "Liz", "Lizzie", or other nicknames. So one sooty day, as the young lady traveled, she decided to go by her middle name instead. Her given middle name was "Vaughan", pronounced "von". This suited her just fine and she preferred it. And she thought, "why complicate things with frilly letters that aren't heard?" "This spelling is far too frilly to suit me." So she shortened it to "Von" and decided that the "meanings" lost in translation no longer mattered or particularly meant much to her, family aside. Now she travels by Von but will still recognise the nickname Liz. End of chapter.
