Hey everyone,

Just wanted to remind everyone about the CD release show @ The Social in Orlando, on Fri. Dec. 12, and it's 18 and up. The CD will first be available at the show and then released online. We will be having many friends and family coming into town for this so I wouldn't delay on buying tix. We tried to keep the price low for ticketmaster fees, which we all hate.

www. ticketmaster. com
www. thesocial. org (available at their box office dtown)
If we have met up in the past, and you have a large group, I have no problem getting you 10$ tix!

We can't be more excited with the way the record came out. We titled it "Magazines and Movie Screens", from a lyric from Vulnerable.

We will be updating the site as soon as we get the mastered tracks back from the studio, which should be any day now.

We will be releasing the record on our own so be patient as we find places to stock it, we will have more details about downloadable sites such as itunes, within the next couple weeks.

More updates exciting news so please check back,
Can't wait to see you all,
Dan

Happy 10-4 everyone,
So how have you been?  It's been good to see you guys out at the shows we have had a blast.  Just wanted to say whassup to everyone and let them know where we are standing in life.

First off, the EP is going really well.  We are going into mixing, taking pictures, and getting the artwork together now.  We are pleased and excited with where the music is and can't wait to get you the music, then keep recording :)   We have a cd release date of  December and we will be having a huge show in Orlando to kick it off.  Our goal is also to have it available for order and download as well.  The name of the EP is going to "Magazines and Movie Screens".  It's a lyric from the song Vulnerable which we are finishing now.  I'll be writing more about this stuff later.

Next, we had the honor of being voted the top local band in Orlando for 2008 by the Orlando Sentinel.  Quite odd, considering this was more of a recording year, but we definetely appreciate the continued support that we get from all of you.  Thanks again to those of you that took the time to vote.  Also, we almost got voted on to The Rock Boat as a fan favorite which also took us by suprise. (www.therockboat.com).  They took a poll with everyone going onto the boat and we had enough votes to get onto the final ballot with some larger known acts.  Again, thanks, this stuff is really motivating when you are making a new record.

With all this being said.  I didn't want today to go without acknowledging our celebration day of October 4th.  So, thank you deeply, and we look forward to rocking out with you soon.

Happy Friday,
Reminder that it's 3 weeks til our shows in west palm and orlando.  Tickets are moving pretty rapidly for the social show in orlando.  ( www.thesocial.org , www.ticketmaster.com )  We are looking forward to playing the new songs for you all.  Hopefully we'll have some done and ready to put on myspace to sample before that weekend.  Remember Aug. 7 in West Palm (early, free, and outdoors) and saturday August 9, in orlando. spread the word if you can and visit the myspace.  We will be playing with our friends Gary Pfaff and the Heartwells, and Beth Aires will be playing her last show for a while before she moves away.

The EP is going great.  We recorded some of the new songs that we have been playing live and some brand brand new ones that no one has heard.  We are thinking of doing and acoustic song maybe from the first record as an extra track, any suggestions?   We still don't have a name for the record yet but i'm sure my mind will get inspired by something along the way.  It also looks like maybe October for a release, we still have much to do like pictures and web/logo design.

We are working our tales off and can use any support and any extra ideas to spread this cd as far as it can go.  I know we have some pretty amazing friends so now's the time for us to call on you and as for some help.  If you know someone who can help or any sites that can help, feel free to message us, actually just feel free to message us.

On that note, thanks again.  Plan to hear more from us as we go further.  Miss you all and can't wait to play some shows and share that energy with you.  It will be on in full force in august and we are promising a new show :)

Also, the plan is to do two EP's this year, so hold tight.

Peace.
Dan

Hey everyone, we just had an amazing weekend and we want to thank everyone who made it possible. We played to a sold out crowd on friday, the line wrapped around the street even after the place was full. I (dan) got to hop on stage with 7mary3 to sing a song with one of my favorite bands. The pics are all posted all over the comments section. We have some new recordings and we are playing alot of new songs live. Here are the some lyrics from the new songs, i'll keep them coming as i get them down. Vulnerable (we've been playing for a while) and Com Clean (brand new). Tell us what you think.

"Vulnerable"

Well I'll bet the rent, that you're gonna feed me your two cents,
Bottom lines of such good advice, maybe words from the wise,
That's' you've always gotta lend,
They may find us on magazines, maybe on movie screens,
We can be the story of the week,
I never asked you what you're gonna do,
Never asked you for your point of view,

They leave me screaming, you don't know cuz you're not there at night,
When she finds me in the dark, and she wraps her arms around me,
When it's so warm, but it's so cold on those nights,
When she finds me all alone, and I need that soul surrounding,
I am over exposed, don't leave me vulnerable.

Now I bet your friends, are gonna tell you how this ends,
Wrap it up under all these lies, such a sweet disguise,
And they'll always let you vent,
Then they'll tell you that you can cope, relate it to horrorscopes,
Yeah they'll make you believe.
I never asked you what you're gonna do,
Never asked you for your point of view

They leave me screaming, you don't know cuz you're not there at night,
When she finds me in the dark, and she wraps her arms around me,
When it's so warm, but it's so cold on those nights,
When she finds me all alone, and I need that soul surrounding,
I am over exposed, don't leave me vulnerable

You don't need to turn down the lights,
Deliver me from those flashing lights, the lights are shining,

you don't know cuz you're not there at night,
When she finds me in the dark, and she wraps her arms around me,
When it's so warm, but it's so cold on those nights,
When she finds me all alone, and I need that soul surrounding,
I am over exposed, don't leave me vulnerable,

"Come Clean (Warning Flare)"

We've all grown tired of stories you can't prove,
Man you don't get it, if you lose we all lose,
Now your standing here shaking, just make me understand,
Here' it is take it, I'll pull you onto dry land,

Now you're running scared, and no one here will follow,
And you're unaware life is beautiful.

Here's your warning flare,
You need to come out with you hands up in the air, friend,
Don't tell me you have to tell them,
You need to come clean,
And keep your hands right where I can see, them
This is the end,

Broken mirrors and conversations have gone black,
The bottom of the bottle won't sing your favorite song back,
Your standing there shaking so young, so proud, so strong,
And I can't agree, I've never seen so many so strong,

Now you're running scared, and no one here will follow,
Are you unaware life is beautiful.

Here's your warning flare,
You need to come out with you hands up in the air, friend,
Don't tell me you have to tell them,
You need to come clean,
And rinse yourself of everything, friend,
This is the end, this is the end,

How'd we let this get so far,
How'd we let you get so far,

Here's your warning flare, (It's a war in there)
You need to come out with you hands up in the air, friend,
Don't tell me you have to tell them,
You need to come clean,
And keep your hands right where I can see, them
This is the end,

There is more news to come... Just wanted to let you know that we appreciate you.

Hey friends as you know we have been touring the southeast for a while supporting the record "Testing The Atmosphere". We have been slowly releasing new songs and old songs that are not on the record. Sometimes we get off stage and people who came to the show don't get to hear there one favorite. Here's a list of the songs we play on the record and off. Shoot us a comment when we come to the area or hit us up before we go on stage so we can get to your request, because we love all the songs and some nights we prefer to rock out to the less familiar stuff.

Crazy
Hold That Thought
Undertow
Long Distance
