Hello and welcome to my page. This page is primarily to show viewers and myself my overall improving talent in drawing. I am 23 years old with I think an average range of drawing skills. I'm a self taught/self motivated individual who has always had a passion for the trade of pencil art, however because I started late- I truly started drawing my freshman year of high school- I'm not as far along as I would hope to be.

I would like to consider my style of drawing as "fusion", which is incorporating both anime and western style drawing to my style, creating a style that is all me. My anatomy is fairly good and my my expressions are improving, and as you can see, my skills in making backgrounds and vehicles are virtually nonexistant. It's not that I'm lazy, it's just that I'm trying to perfect one thing at a time, and I know that's not a good thing- I should be drawing EVERYTHING I can- so I intend to work on those faults of mine in the near future.

I just invested in a digital tablet and will hopefullly soon use it to its full capability. It the meantime I AM using it for what i I know I can do with it and take a look at my recent pix and you can see what that is.

Recently I've bee taking this venture more seriously and digging for resources and stepping up my game in skill level. This page is for networking and I've been meeting some great people here for which I am grateful. The inspiration given to  me in this short period of time is priceless and best believe, much apppreciated

Now my goal is, of course, to become a comic book pencil artist and draw for the big hitters like Marvel comics, Top Cow or Image (I'm not much of a DC guy) and ultimately move on to my ULTIMATE GOAL which is to create my own comic book company called ..JADE EGG COMIX... I already have a this world in my head, characters, stories, tie-ins, the works...of course THIS, like my drawings, needs a lot of work if it is to one day become a reality and once again, I'm here w/o a paddle cuz I'm not being pushed at all to get these thought out on paper, and there are a lot of thoughts.

My few regrets I have are that I didn't start drawing sooner - because I think I would be way farther, talent-wise, now if I did - and that I don't have that drive to go all the way yet, because if I did then I'd be lightyears ahead of where I am now in terms of both drawing and story lining.

Like I said, the reason why I made this page is so I can post my more recent work and see just how good things are coming along...that and so all the MySpacers can stop by n check em out too. I'm nowhere near close to Super good, but I'm hoping that with help from whoever is WILLING to help...I could do great things with this.

30 Years in the future, chaos and death overcome Earth. Two Super powerful beings, calling themselves Obsidian and Pumice have decimated almost every super power and our planet is under their rule. The Pantheon Star is gone and the only hero around to fight is the Jade Phantom and his wife, Jester. Trying to gather as many people as they ca in their world to strike, they are getting older and time is wearing very this. Jade decides to bestow his only child, Silas, with Phantom abilities to go into time and place together a group who, in their future, could destroy the evil entities of this present. Silas and his reluctant companion, Prodigious plunge into the rift and come to our present to do just that, and he has chosen. his team is young and hard headed, but collectively posses the worlds greatest potential to overcome the greatest evil. They are Mag 7.

Silas: The Quantum Man
Abilities: Time/Dimensional travel, flight, Project energy beams, read power potential within people, able to create "imaginary friends" which he calls beacons.
Power source: Silas was given his power from his father, the Jade Phantom. His abilities aren't as extensive, perhaps because e is still alive, but has been known to develop quite rapidly. His ability to create being from his mind is arguably a genetic trait given from jesters electron manipulation and Jade's vast Phantom powers. He can only create one per dimension. They are used as beacons back to those dimensions.
BIO : Silas Franklyn showed his abilities to create beings at an early age when he created Prodigious at the age of 8. Prodigious was excepted as part of the family, but it was always wondered just how far these power could go. Growing up, he never displayed that power again, but could shoot green bolts of electricity. Soon after, the Pantheon Star shrunk and vanished and devastation arose. Heroes were dying and Silas and Prodigious became a part of a task force at age 17 to help take Obsidian n Pumice down but it did no good. With no more heroes around, they had to make more. J.P. gave him Phantom abilities and gave him two objectives. Create the ultimate super team and train the Jade Phantom of the past to use his new abilities.

Boom
Abilities: Sound manipuation/amplification, air solidification, concussion bursts, can hear for miles if needed, vibratory senses, ecolocation, flight (via "air borad")
Power Source: Boom can manipulate sound and air air in a multitude of ways from offensive to defensive. Although he has some resistance to his own power, he can also be susceptible to become hurt from his own attacks
BIO Tom Watson is also know in the nightclubs and DJ Wattage. Known for his creating the perfect pitches and tones for any venue any occasion any time. He has mad a living using the abilities he has had all his life. Although he didn't know to what extent he can use them til his late teens, it's become quite profitable for him. He supports his sick mother who lives with his grandmother. They are his life. He stumbled upon Silas at a record store. Scared the He was being hit on by a dude, he tried to administer a deafening amount of sound to Silas...once he realized it had no effect, he started to listen. He is now the team Leader.

Solar Girl
Abilities: Solar based pyrokinesis, flight and fire absorption, connection to creation and the underworld but is not yet understood.
power Source Her powers were bestowed to her from an ancient African relic of a nomadic sun hero named Gita. Her powers are strongest during day.She has acquired a belt with discs built to absorb and hold solar energies for her when needed, but even those can only go so far.
BIO:Sadie Cadence was a very well known X-Sports champion. Fearless, daring and able to go places most people wouldn't dare. When she almost broke her back during a sporting event, she was advised not to continue playing. After recovering she decided to become an adventurer. See the world. This takes her into the depths of West African where she heard about a tribe of superpowered nomads. She finds nothing. On her way back she stumble upon the relic of Gita and picked it up. It glowed in her hands, posessing her with a burst she's up in the sky. She later wakes up in the hospital feeling rejuvenated. Silas is at her side

I know it's been a minute since my last post but I'm tryna upgrade my altogether level of things, ya know? The planet's undergone a huge transformation almost undernight. With the Pantheon Star emitting a strange new radiation on all of Earth's inhabitants, giving people strange new abilities and exposing anciant, hiden races, the planet needs protectors. It needs Sentries.

Earth Sentries: Alpha Squadron (AKA Alpha Sentries)


The Jade Phantom
Current Age: 26
Abilities: Interplanar travel, walk through solid matter, flight, heightened senses, energy projection, Space travel, possession, teleportation.
Power Source: These powers were bestowed upon him from guardians of this realm and are mostly affective within the limits of this dimension, traveling to other realms greatly reduces his poweres in various ways
Bio: James Franklyn was an Air Force seargent who lost it all, his family, his home, his career, his mind, and eventually his life...but when he died, a voice came to him telling him he wasn't ready and he was back alive, a year later he died again and was told the same thing being once again brought back to the living, the third time, time stopped before anything happend and he was told by the previous Phantom that he's been chosen to protect the borders between this dimension and the 4 dimensions surrounding ours. He was given his awsome abilities, a belt that allows him to travel between worlds and sense dimentional disturbances, and the a huge responsibility. Why he was chosen he does not know, but this new commitment of his affects our very existance on this new Jade Egg. Jade Phantom is the Leader of the Alpha Sentries



Vizer
Current Age: About 27
Abilities: Optic Beams, flight, enhanced strength, able to see spiritual aberitions (ghosts).
Power Source: Vizers beams are solar-based and his powers peak in midday, however the solar absorbing helmet and armlets allow him to reaman a formitable warrior throughout the day and night.
Bio: Vizer is the Warrior Prince of the Zenith Nation, an island in the Pacific that was hidden and has now resurfaced, inhabited by the Jula, a race of man born with jewels on thier bodies, giving them abilities that vary depending on where the jewels are. Vizer understands that it's a dangerous new world out there and in order to protect his people, he must step up and now protect the entire world. Vizer is the tactics advisor of the group.



Siphon (Dimurangi)
Current Age: About 40
Abilities: Able to replicate abilities of others mentally, super strength (normal for his race), High intelligence (again normal), visualizes energy readings with his sight.
Power Source: Siphon can manipulate his aquired powers in many ways, however he can only consume one special ability at a time and be within a certain range of the individual the power was siphoned from.
Bio: Siphon is an elite soldier from the panet Zhar. His last mission was to find an planet able to habitate his overpopulating, dying planet, leading him to Earth. Once he arrived though, he felt compassion in our still-growing planet and destroyed his warship and the people on it and faking his death. After years of  a lacking trust from world leaders, Siphon finally proved himself a sincere Earther citizen, giving him a position as an Earth Sentry. Siphon is now in charge of gobal defence and security.



Spanish Fly (AKA FlyGirl--soon to be named Honeybee(costume will change a bit too))
Current Age: 20
Abilities: Shrink to micro-size, flight, martial arts, electronically-charged blades
Power source: Because her powers are electronic, it goes off a battery source, limiting her usage of her electric blades, her shrinking abilities however are mental and she must be concious to remain in this form.
Bio: Betsy Baranca was teased all throughout school for both being incredibly smart and for being freakishly tall. This didn't change much in college. This led to her and her friend to come up with a way to decrease her height and tht way make her less noticable. Something went wrong when undergoing the procedure and Betsy shrun to insectile size but found out she can turn back at will. This changed her life and her goals. Now he is a superheroine in the most powerful group on Earth. Spanish Fly is now head of the teams intel and the team scientist.



Captain Nova
Age: Around 23
Abilities: All senses heightened to a cosmic scale, flight, space travel, super reflexes, enhanced speed, proficiant in many weapons and arms, invulnerability
Power Source: Nova's powers are shared throughout the galaxy by countless others, any dramatic change in the link creates a devastating reaction to all those connected.
Bio: Anastasia Novavik was bred to be a soldier, perfected since birth with hundreds of others. In the end she rose above all else, proving erself to be he best above them all. What she didn't know is that she was being trained to enroll in the Helio Guard, a galactic enforcement whose purpose is to protect thier specific galactic jurisdiction. Nova fights battles all over the galaxy, but she always has a pot here on Earth as a Sentry. Captain Nova is our Sentries' servaillence. Using her cosmic senses to warn us of anything needing attention.



Sublime
Current Age: 29
Abilities: Super strength, super rerlexes, super intelligence, x-ray vision, enhanced senses, super breath, accelerated healing composition, The use of S-I-M-P; a sentient extraterrestrial machine used to perform various feets from creating force fields or concussive blasts to transforming into vehicles for transportation--when exposed to the pantheon star: Flight, super speed, energy projection, and invulnerability
Power Source: His powers are centralized around the pantheon star, giving him is diverse range in powers that even he is afraid of. The suit he created limits his true power in hopes to contain the devestating power he really has.
Bio: Adamo Vanta was born the same day the Pantheon star arose in the sky. As a child he used over 50% of his brain power but he never talked, until his parents were killed. He later Found the First Alpha Sentries, the first super-hero team formed. Later he was kidnapped and taken to another planet where he was enslaved. Using his smarts and significant strength, Adamo escaped after 5 years and returned home to not only a new world but a New Alpha Sentry group, now one of three Earth Sentry Squadrons (Bravo and Charlie are the other 2). Arrogant as always he was at first reluctant, but now he's an important asset to the Squad. Sublime plays as the team co-leader and powerhouse.

Well  Iknow that's it's 2008, and best believe I have plenty of ideas to boost my experiance and my wold to a new level. But B4 all that, I am overwhelmed by a lot of drawings to color from tha last year so keep an eye out in the 2007 albbum for new pix cuz it's not done being filled up ok? And believe mw they're some nice pix. Keep in touch guys, I'm really enjoying networking with you all.

Well it's about damn time I did something like this. It's time that people with whatever amount of interest in my work actually KNEW what kind of characters ther were looking at. So I'm gonna give brief rundowns of my major Jade Egg players to satiate some of your guys' curiosities...More than likely my next entry will be explaining how this world is differant and unique ( I should do HAT first actually, but I'm anxious I guess, hehehe). I'll start in the order in which I created them.

These characters are from my first storyline I call TRINITY

Dash (Dashiel Prince)
Current Age:19
Abilities: Energy Projection, Street Fighting
Power Source: Earth's Natural Energy, allowing his power to range o great hieghts.
Bio: Dash is an orphan turned tournament fighter turned adventurer. He later discovers he and his close group of friends are key to helping restore balance to the Earh after the great transformation the planet has undergone (to be explained in another blog). Dash and his friends Jester, Jasmine and Roni along with other key people posses an essence foreign to this planet that can actually bring stability to the world. But with nobody realy knowing how or when, it's up to Dash to find the answer. This quest takes him all over the world and into new galaxies, meeting many differant individuals along the way.



Jasmine Fox
Current Age:18
Abilities: Pyrokenisis, Trained unarmed combat, Flight (by means of fire)
Power Source: Her power is based off her will so it is only as strong or as weak as her mental condition
Bio: Jasmine was orphaned along with Dash. They even considered each other cousins, however at a young age she was kidnapped and taken to an underground combat training facility not long after she discovered her pyrokinetic ability in public. From then on she was trained to become a fighting machine. Graduating at the top of her Class, she was appointed to lead a team called the Enforcement: A group that went under the law to make sure people stayed WITHIN the law. She too posseses the essence Dash does, but there is more to HER story that makes things more complicated.


Lokk (Jinolokkijm)
Current Age: About 26
Abilities: Energy absorbtion, Great strength (normal for his race), High intelligence (again, normal), Vision sees energy (power)resonance not a physical form
Power Source: The energy he absorbs builds up in the hard bone-like parts on his forearms allowing him to manipulate it in various ways.
Bio: Lokk came to this planet in search for his father (better known as Siphon from the Earth Sentries), instead he stumbled upon Dash and Jasmine. Lokk instantly saw the high levels of energy within both of them and quickly befriended them. After Jasmine's kidnapping and several other events to follow Lokk agreed to train Dash to use his abilites and to fight. Lokk is Dash's most valued friend and travels with him almost everywhere.




Rondeha (Roni)
Current Age: 19
Abilities: Terrakenisis
Power Source: Roni is so in touch with the Earth (soil, rock, minerals, etc.) that not only can he command it but he can feel the great strain the planet is going through. Explaining why Roni is always upset and withdrawn.
Bio: Roni is from a Native American tribe where it is not uncommon to have powered individuals in his clan. Those with powers, however, are forced to leave the tribe and find his/her destiny, wherever it may lead them. With Roni this led to the fighting tournaments where he can let out his anger and pain. Eventually he meets up with Dash and even later finds him self in love with Jasmine. He to posseses the Foreign essence Jasmine and Dash have. But there's more to Roni than meets the eye. More to his confused psyche than even HE knows about.

Jester (Real name unknown)
Current Age:19
Abilities: Astrapokenisis (lightning), Telepathy, acrobatic reflexes
Power Source: Jester posseses a cane, given to her by her mother, that she believes is the source of both her  powers, leaving her dependent on having the cane around.  She  also  controls her cane with her combined powers makeing it look like she's also a telekinetic.
Bio: Roughly a mile underground there is a growing number of people seeking refuge from the evergrowing harshness of the world above. Cities are made and icons are created. One of which is the Jester: A symbol for the persecuted and the mistreated. The jester brings justice to the UnderEarth by righting the wrongs doneby  those up above. This is the Third Jester. The first was her mother. The second, her moher's killer. It's a whole new ballgame under ground. With new rules. And Jester will do whatever it takes to protect it. Jester also posseses the foreign essence Dash, Jasmine and Roni have.

Well, Looking at my pix in the View pics area, you will see that not only has my drawing improved as of late, but my ideas have broadened. Take a look and you will see many new faces and possibilities. Yes all these characters are mine and they do have a story behind them. I am stepping into the superhero realm of my world, introducing a new dynamic to the Jade Egg Universe. So take a look at my characters both new and old, for they are the future of my world...and possibly yours.

 

Now I know noone but myself reads this, but whateva. I'm making myself a curriculum for myself, ya know, I'm pretty much  schooling myself in how to draw. I have all these How to Draw.. books and I NEVER use them, so I'm gonna make lessons and what to read, assignments...yeah, I'm schoolin myself. Thing is I hope that I'll follow through, heh. Well that's it...I'd write more, but no one will read this...I think.

Ok, people who read this blog, I need to do somethings outside of my box of limitations...I need to draw....scenery, uh, animals, mutants, dragon, ANYTHING so I can get better and more diversified with my drawings. Right now I'm drawing people out of magazines...and that's all goo n all but that's not branching out. That's just doing what I've BEEN doing, just in magazines now, feel me? So if NEone can give me some ideas to go off of or link me to a picture that you want me to draw or, ya know, something like that, I would appreciate it. I hope someone reads this damn things...in the meantime I'll hit the groups.
