It is now possible to get WFKU (and 1000's of other internet radio stations on your iphone. We have not been able to locate a free app yet but you can buy Radio-box for $3.99 and it will allow you too listen to any station in shoutcasts station list (we are there as well as a few other lists)

http://www.apptism.com/apps/internet-radiobox

in the search type WFKU

We are working on a free solution but it will take either more time or more money

CoRReCTioN We have found a free solution!

download the application flycast from the iphone/itouch app store, and you can listen by searching in the shoutcast search directory...its very no frills but it works just fine.

Tonight Sunday starting at 9PM EST WFKU radio proudly presents the premiere of our first two regularly scheduled syndicated shows - Communion After Dark and Twitch Radio.

Every week "Communion After Dark" brings an hour of the latest music from the realms of EBM, dark electro, synth pop, goth, and power noise. Based in Tampa, Florida, the show is hosted by DJ Mark Paradise (of Ybor City's dark electro club The Castle), DJ Bryant Griffin (of the band Ien Oblique), and DJ Tom Gold (Resident DJ of The Castle). Visit communionafterdark.com for more information. This week's installment will premiere exclusively at 9PM EST before becoming available through other outlets.

Twitch Radio is an eclectic radio program from NYC based Producer and DJ Rexx Arkana of the bands FGFC820 and Bruderschaft. After nearly twenty years off the air, Twitch Radio has been resurrected to provide the best mix of classic and contemporary alternative and electronic music. Hosted by NYC's DJ Rexx Arkana, who broadcasted the program in the late 80s and early 90s on small college radio stations in the Northeast, Twitch Radio is syndicated by the Communion After Dark Radio Network and WFKU Radio. The latest installment of Twitch Radio will air following Communion After Dark tonight at 10PM EST.

Following their premieres, both Communion After Dark and Twitch Radio will remain in rotation along with WFKU's other regular programming, including mixes from DJs Jet, Ian Fford, Templar, 23, Chris2, Frankie Teardrop, Mistress McCutchen, Mighty Mike Saga, DvlsAdvct, Xris SMack!, as well as live audio broadcasts and rebroadcasts of some of the hottest related shows and club events in the NYC area.

We are broadcasting at least once a week at this point, sometimes its impromptu, sometimes its scheduled, things are a bit up in the air at this point, as we are working out some technical details. Some of the broadcasts have gone really really well, other's haven't. We are working all the time to improve how we do things. There are alot of factors such as depth, signal, weather, the vibration of the dance floor, loose duct tape, broken cables, its amazing how hard these live broadcasts end up being. Not just for me but for the sound engineers at the clubs and studios we have been broadcasting out of. This is no joke, its very hard, sometimes it comes out great sometimes it does not. But We can promise that we are going to get better at it.

Thank you for tuning in

One of Our listeners tuning in from work was having a problem reading XML tags in Itunes. The computer they were on has safari disabled, email disabled, and most ports blocked. The Station Streams fine, but the Song data(XML) is blank. Other stations seem to work. I was wondering if anyone else is having this problem. Or if anyone knows a work around.
