If you have a logo that is for a local shop, your own race team,
or clothing company etc. you can submit it to us to have printed
on your custom graphics or leatt brace decals. However there
are certain formats that we need the logo in. There are two
basic stlyes of digital artwork, the first is photoshop file formats
most common among amature designers. These however are not
easy for most professional output, screen printing, embroidery,
stickers, mx decals. The reason is that that artwork is based
upon a grid of "pixels" or tiny squares of color whose quantity is
defined by every square inch, the resolution for web is 72 ppi
pixels per inch, most print work is done at 300 ppi. There is a lot
more detail retained that way. When you scale up a pixel based
image the squares remain the same size, thus skewing and
blurring the art causing a saw tooth pattern where lines should
be straight. Vector art is not made up of tiny squares of color, it
is based upon points on an invisible grid and it scales
mathmatically and precise, the lines stay proportional if the art is
2 inches wide or 20 inches. We prefer all logos to be submitted in
vector format any .eps or .ai file. We cannot use a .ai or .eps with
a .jpeg embedded in that art the art needs to be converted into a
vector version. If you submit .jpegs or pixel art we can convert
simple art, however if it is very complex we will have to charge
for it. We do not charge art fees if the logo is provided in the correct
format. When sending logos please send it to the email adress
art@dirtdigits.com with your name and order information if it is an
online order or phone order please specify. For any additional questions
