Hello everyone! I just wanted to shoot out a quick update to all the Mainstay people in cyberspace... BIG NEWS! I got married a couple of weeks ago and I am just loving life right now! We had a lovely Rocky Mountain wedding at 9,200 ft and it was beautiful! It was a small, humble mountain ceremony and was very meaningful and sweet...and of course, I cried quite a bit! I feel very blessed by the Lord to have married my best friend and soulmate. Thought I would post a couple of pix as people have been asking Many thanks to everyone who has given their support and love to us throughout this special time! Thank you so much! Justin

Merry Taxday everyone! I hope that your rebate check is all that you hoped it would be!
Hello everyone! I, Justin Anderson, am healing gradually, but I am healing! I was encouraged because for the first time since my accident, I have noticed some improvements, due to the chiropractic treatments that have been jarring my spine back to normalcy! This is exciting for me, but not as exciting as this - I JUST GOT ENGAGED!!! That's right...I recently got engaged to the love of my life, Holly Hinrichs. We are getting married in 10 weeks and I have never been more excited in my whole life! This really is the happiest I have ever been.
That being said, I am sure there will be many a love song written out of this past year, as God has used our love for each other to redeem many things in my heart...God has truly surprised me with deep, real love and I am so grateful.
I am heading out to Nashvegas this monday to go hang out at GMA and do some interviews, and I have much to say! It has been a couple of months since I have been in Nashville, so I am excited to see a LOT of old friends! Other than the searing back pain, this is the greatest time of my life, and I am so thankful for all the support that people have given our record "Become Who You Are." I am especially thankful for all the support of our single, "Believe" which has been on the CHR chart for 29 weeks! THANK YOU!!! Thank you for supporting that song, and for letting us know how it is impacting your lives. What a blessing to hear your stories and struggles as you fight for true joy and faith in Jesus.
Be looking for our next single to hit radio in a couple of weeks - it's the title track off of "Become Who You Are" and it's going to bring the Mainstay rock and roll factor. You can check it out on our myspace if you haven't heard it and let us know what you think!
We love you all and hope to see you soon!
Justin

Hey friends - sorry...it's been awhile since we updated you on things. We wanted to let you know "Become Who You Are" about to start playing on your favorite local Christian radio station! We really hope God uses this song to bless many. We would love to know if your station starts to play it in the next week or so...shoot us a comment or message. We miss being out there with all of you! If you haven't picked up our latest album "Become Who Are You" - be sure to check out the deals at MusicChristian.com and iTunes. Also, just wanted to share with you all the explanation and lyrics to "Become Who You Are": SONG EXPLANATION: The author of Hebrews says about Jesus, "For by a single offering He has perfected for all time those who are being sanctified." (Heb. 10:14) This is the call to be sanctified (set apart, holy) AFTER being justified. God has declared us (or decreed, like a judge in a courtroom saying 'not guilty') righteous when we put our faith in Christ, and now we are to BECOME righteous as we work out our salvation with fear and trembling. We have been justified and made right with God for eternity, now become sanctified in your daily life. Become Who You Are So it seems that I'm wrong cuz you said that I would never want for anything again But my eyes are set low and I'm holding to the things I know I can't keep I keep on chasing the wrong things and coming up empty This isn't who I'm supposed to be I keep on learning the hard way from every mistake and I'm finding each time that you fall, you're just becoming who you are So it seems that I'm wrong cuz I keep on searching for the answers that I don't need I know I don't need

Hey everyone!
I just wanted to write an update to let the peoples know how I am doing after my recent car accident. The long and short of it is, I am GREAT! I am also in a GREAT deal of pain! :0)
My osteopath says that I have a lot of inflammation in my spine and that the ligaments are torn up. My back is healing, and with physical therapy and some more time, I hope to get back to normal. In the meantime, sleeping is hard, lifting stuff over 20 lbs. is pretty impossible, and I make a lot of "old-man-noises" when I get out of chairs or bend over. Needless to say, I am pretty useless right now!
But, I really am SO happy to be alive and walking and able to function. I can't say enough how grateful I am for God keeping me on earth and providing for me in this hard time. It makes me think off the countless fatal crashes and scenarios He has kept me safe from, especially in a band that has driven and flown hundreds of thousands of miles these past few years! It makes me grateful for the little things, like laying in bed at night - it sounds stupid, but I have realized how much I take the simple things for granted. Simple things like being able to walk, or the gift of sight, or tasting food, or having working appendages. I guess just find myself noticing things like that now, and it makes me realize how self-absorbed and petty I can be.
Mainstay was planning on taking a break from the road as of the new year, and now after the accident, it appears this break will be somewhat indefinite. As I am recuperating I have been writing songs like crazy, and enjoying that process, which remains my favorite part of music. That is a process that I don't think I could ever stop, Lord willing. Which brings me to my next point...
Our single "Believe" is number up to 5 this week! I want to say a personal thank you to all the radio people and music listeners who made this possible. What an honor! It has been so fun to do interviews lately, and I am so thankful for all the support of this song at radio! More importantly than numbers though, are all the stories that people have been sending in. Let me take this opportunity to say how blessed and humbled I am to hear about the numerous testimonials of heartache, struggle, pain, and loss, and how this song has resonated or helped people in their lowest times. So many people have sent in stories or encouragements that have made me realize why I do music. I am so blessed that our music can be a part of God encouraging people and drawing them closer to Him in their sorrows. With that, I say a humble, "thank you" to everyone who has supported this song and this record. We wrote the whole thing in the hopes of speaking into people's lives, especially in the hard times, so it is a tremendous encouragement to hear such affirmation of that happening!
Thanks again everyone for your prayers for me in this interesting time of my life, and for all your personal encouragements and affirmations! I really, really appreciate the prayers and concern...they make me feel warm and/or fuzzy inside.
God bless you all!
Justin

Hello there friends!
We just wanted to let you know that Justin was in a pretty bad car accident, but he should...prayfully be a-okay...nothing too major.
An Update from Justin:
At about 7:10 am, on Dec. 22nd (Saturday) I was traveling eastbound on C470 through Littleton, CO when a car going WESTbound flew out of control, came across the median, and hit me head on. I was in extreme shock, but (praise God) only sustained minor injuries. The airbag deployed and I was wearing my seatbelt. However, my driver's side window shattered into my face, but broke well and only have a few cuts on my face.
As in many collisions, I didn't realize until about 10 min after the accident that I had a concussion (that's right everyone...AGAIN). I was taken to the emergency room of course, and the emergency room doctor said it was a miracle that I was even walking on two feet, let alone alive after a head-on-collision when I was going 60. After sitting the in ER for 5 hours and having multiple X-rays, I was discharged with a neck-brace and told to take it EXTREMELY easy - the X-rays showed no immediate, immense damage to my spine, although the doctor thinks I may have incurred some fractures and other smaller injuries to my spine.
Ever since I went into the ER the other day, I can't move my neck or back more than a few centimeters before there is intense pain.
This has been an amazing experience...God spared my life in what easily could have been a fatal accident, and not only that, but I can walk, talk, don't have any deep cuts on my face, and came away with only whiplash injuries. I feel so blessed to say that God did a miracle in making the crash perfect, to allow me to not only to survive, but to be able to walk away from it. I will most likely have to deal with a bunch of pain and physical therapy on my neck and back for the next few weeks/months, but I will surely be ok, and can't believe how blessed I am to only have sustained these "minor" injuries.
If you could pray for my neck as I go in for these next set of X-rays, I would really appreciate it. I would like to avoid surgery if possible, and am praying nothing is fractured, cracked, or messed up, and that some physical therapy and healing time will take care of the mess that is currently my neck and back.
I am so grateful for each of you! But more than that, I am grateful for a God who designed this intense saturday for my good, and shows His faithfulness at all times, even when times are really hard. I cannot begin to tell you how blessed I feel to be able to walk away from this accident. God is so good to me.
Justin
