Current mood:  blessed

Let us talk about what is the definition of a " Hero"

When we are toddlers our hero's are our Mom's and Dad's

When we are youth's our hero's are Super Hero's

But what actually classifies a hero, they come in every shape, ever size and every color. From a friend who rescues you from a broken heart and spends countless hours lending their shoulder for you to cry on. Or perhaps that teacher that really seems to give their all when it seems that nobody else cares. Perhaps its the local little league coach that gives you the encouragement to hit that ball. Maybe its the town fireman who rescues that kitty from the tree for the tenth time. Is it the police officer who teaches you to just say no to drugs. Perhaps it is a brother or sister who takes care of you when your parents are not around either due to natural causes, tragedy or just because they don't seem to care. Or is it your husband or wife just for being your best friend. Sometimes a hero can be classified as someone who believes in you when you stop believing in yourself. They say that people come into your life for either a reason, a season or a lifetime.", I believe that hero's come into your life for all three. A hero does not have to demostrate an act of bravery, nor do they have to wear a special cape or leap from buldings in a single bound. A hero does not have to be strong in strength, but they do need be strong in character. A hero is someone who will go out of their way to be there for someone else no matter what the consequences. A hero is someone who takes the time and dedicates themself into doing their best in any situation to try and wrong the rights. A hero believes in doing good to make this world that we live in a much better place.  My greatest hero is anyone who puts on a uniform to defend our country, the ones who make a sacrifice and are willing to die for their country, the ones that have "Our Back." And do you know why I classify them as being a hero, because they don't believe that they are, they just repond with I am just doing my job. "Yes I am the one a million miles away from my family", "Yes I am the one who missed the birth of my son or daughter", Yes I am the one who didn't make it home but died for the country that I love", "but I am no hero", "I am just a simple guy or girl just like you, just doing my job.."     " God Bless All of America's Hero's and keep them safe..... " Let the angels watch over them and keep them safe"....
