Hello Everyone..
couple of things..
first of all, here is a little present for ya. this is a re-EQed version that James Zabiela did of Devil's Water. it's the original version of the song but with some new EQ and compression treatment making it quite a bit easier to play in the club (apparently). personally, i like it.. been playing it out.

http://www.housemuzik.eu/rebirth/RENNIEFOSTER2/JamesZabielaEdit.zip

just for fun , heres a little snippet from radio 1 UK, Pete Tong talking a bit about Devil's Water and playing the Youngsters remix on his Essential Selection (third time in a row.. thanks Pete!)

http://www.sendspace.com/file/e8a5hd

anyway.. hope that Zabiela EQ version serves you well.. btw, it is unreleased of course and if you chart it please chart it as Rennie Foster - Devil's Water (Zabiela re-EQ version) or something like that.. it's not a remix ok?

and finally.. here is a DJ mix for ya.. features the Kiki remix of Devil's Water..

My name is Vlado. I'm from Montenegro, South-East Europe, but that's not so important. If my english is not very good - sorry ;)
Your latest release on Subject Detroit label, motivated me to write this mail.
"Belt Of Orion" is...don't know how to describe it...iiiiis the best track I've heard in a long time! I'm familiar with your production, and I've always been a fan. But SD release - moved me from the Earth - right there -in Orion's Belt!
It's space, it's electro, it's tribal! In the sea of this new minimal-house-tech shit this release was GOD SENT!
Also the ones on the F...U Com, Rewired and Futago - it..s what Techno is about, and what I like it to be -raw, tribal but also warm - with meaning and sense!
It's good to know that there are people out there, that still know the secret of Techno. You, Kan, DJ Bone and the others...keep up with the good work, as you did so far!!!

Cheers
Vlado Markovic

dear vlado..
i want to really thank you for your support and words of kindness. it means alot to me. recently in the midst of current trends in techno music that lean toward a more stark and european sound those of us who create techno music linked more to techno's roots in black american music are often feeling unoticed or unappreciated, at least i can speak for myself and for some of my peers i talk closely with. it's great to know that there is a contingent out there with understanding of what we are trying to say in our music and where it is coming from. many artists are now feeling the need to change their music, or elements in its construction in order to have sufficient sales or to make the playlists of popular djs, however some of us are dedicated to moving in another direction, forging new paths in the music without losing sight of the soulful spirit of its inception . feedback such as yours helps me feel optimistic that after the commercial minded masses have again grown tired of another trend we who have held strong will remain with our integrity and the support of the underground.
thank-you sincerely

DIRTY WORKS -LABEL PROFILE

Dirty works is the new digital label created by well known DJ and Producer Rennie Foster. Known for his Detroit influenced releases on labels such as Monoid, F…U! F Com, Synewave, Rewired, Futago Traxx, Teknotika, Soiree and many other recognized labels.

The sound of Dirty Works is the sound of Dance music without rules. House, Techno, Electro is all the same thing with this imprint and modern minimal style is fused impolitely with references from early Detroit, Chicago, and classic rave sounds ...not to mention everything else.

Expect deep and soulful melodies with meaning, relentless jacking percussion with imagination, production without definition and music with a true underground spirit and sophistication.

With little respect to genre and classification and maximum respect for the dancefloor, Dirty Works is essentially about both underground club music's rich history and optimistic future..

...THE NEW WAY TO JACK!!!
