Should've been broadcast 11/6/09... but wasn't, thanks to me winding up in hospital after suffering a stroke. My brain and I have always had a somewhat shaky relationship, but this was something new and more unexpected than it should've been. So instead of recording the show the day before broadcast, as per normal, I spent 2½ months in hospital and a similar period recuperating at hom before breaking radio silence at last. But I did have the playlist for the show fully worked out, and this is it, presented here for whatever doubtful historical interest it may have.

Current mood:Matraville! Fuck yeah!
Let's face it, 2SER have been very nice running old editions of Dark Passage during my absence, but it's past time that I got some new ones on the air. (Also past time that I put up the playlists for the last two weeks before my brain crash.) To that end DARK PASSAGE is about to come roaring back out of the high-tech (?) studios of 15-11 Enterprises in a slightly different form to the show you hopefully remember and even more hopefully love (most notably that it will probably only be one hour from now on rather than two), but still offering an exceptionally fine selection of dark alternative music from Australia and around the world. Keep watching this space...
The usual love to all, James

...in my brain, as a result of which i have been in hospital since june the 9th.
i expect to be here for several weeks to come.
all activity for 15-11 enterprises (my band) and dark passage (my radio show), and all live activity for the inflatable voodoo dolls (jo'h can still carry out record work in my absence) is necessarily cancelled until further notice.
i have net access now and can use myspace, and i have some friends whose generosity is stellar.
things really could be a lot worse.
blessed be, and hopefully your solstice was livelier than mine has been for obvious reasons, james r.
