Finally, the first Ravage! Ravage! music video, directed by movie director Edwin Brienen, has surfaced online.

This video, shot in a seemingly abandoned Berlin, sees the band being haunted by the ghosts of jealousy and sin from last night's party, in a cinematic journey partly inspired by early Eighties Sisters Of Mercy videos and Ravage! Ravage! contemporaries The Knife.

DATES WITH THE NIGHT

Ravage! Ravage! has two performances scheduled in the near future.
The first one will see them make their first outside festival appearance, ànd their first date as a band outside the Netherlands, at Milan's Circolo Magnolia.
06/19 Ravage! Ravage! live at Circolo Magnolia, Milan (Italy), alongside DJ sets by Pilooski, Birdy Nam Nam, Joakim, Mustard Pimp and others


During the second one, Ravage! Ravage! will make a short, special live appearance at the Arnhem Mode (Fashion) Biënnale.
06/26 Ravage! Ravage! live at Ultrasexi & Arnhem Mode Biënnale present Shape Party at Luxor Live, alongside DJ sets by JBAG (BoomBox/Kitsuné/Ponystep) and Multisexi DJ's Yuki, Cleo and Delfos, and fashion appearances by MaryMe and JimmyPaul
Lips are sealed as for why it will be a special one, but if the "be there or be square" cliché never rang more true.

Yes, it's what you could refer to as a (miniature) Rave Review... so that's what we just did. Nice! And a nice way to end this issue of TIRAGE, isn't it?

Rejoice! A lot of Ravage! Ravage! live action is about to take place the coming weeks. More than ever. In fact, Ravage! Ravage! is going on a small but lovely tour: the Dark Underground Tour. Along with three other up and coming (electro/EBM) bands, and a couple of DJs. Ravage! Ravage! will be injecting their trademark fluorescent black magic into the veins of those nights.

Also, Ravage! Ravage! will be supporting Vive la Fête coming Saturday. Doors open around 8, and the show will commence not long after, so be early or be miserable.

PAST, PRESENT, FUTURE
The past months have all been about rehearsals, new songs, and running from the credit crunch and other scary monsters. Somehow, Ravage! Ravage! have also managed to play live a few times, and we've got the pixies to prove:

It's almost turning into a running gag, but better believe it: the first Ravage! Ravage! music video is àlmost there. But not quite yet. (It's all about building up anticipation, *ahem*)
Also, there's another video pending... a live montage of the first year of Ravage! Ravage! as band. Another case of "àlmost there".

It's been floating around for a while now, but for those who've missed it so far, there's a new Ravage! Ravage! demo and its name is Substance:

There is only one "place to be" this Friday, well at least in the Netherlands, and it's - and that does not happen all that often - The Hague. Why? Blokgolf. Homework. Le Source. Viaduktape. Hopefully a fashion show. And, well, us Ravage! Ravage! (As DJ's.)

Neon Punx, The Sequel is about to explode dark bright flashy colours on yr face - but no need to worry about yr immaculately styled Tees-and-AmApp-panties combination, it's all lights (and music, and Cut Copy in the remix and some vintage 2007 glowsticks):



Also, to give you something else that's really nice to do, because it's not yet Friday, we've got some new photographs we'd like to show you. It's them pixies from the Ravage! Ravage! live performance during the Amsterdam Fashion Week at the Westergasfabriek. It was sold out and the whole venue looked amazing and we had Viaduktape VJ's with us so it was all good:
